Firstly I must stress that this is an IDEA only at this stage.Many of you who have the 744 will have the well known 767-300 also, and will be aware that that product has a flying club with website and support areas.I'd like to gauge the interest from users here in participating in such a club, if I were to get something going.So, if it sounds like a place you'd visit, say so here. Also, what features should this site have?Open to all suggestions.Cheers!

Are there any addons out there to improve on the PMDG 744 sound such as there is for the PMDG 737? The 744 sound needs to be reworked, especially the exterior view sounds which are muffled badly, as I have posted previously, but it appears that PMDG isn't going to do that. I have loaded the excellent sounds for the PMDG 737 by ???, I forgot his name, which are really enjoyable. Has he or anyone else done any sounds for the 744? I would appreciate any feedback. Hi guys,everytime i load the 747, FS crashes.I have the V1R10 update installed.I also already removed the 747 (via uninstall) and thereafter put back the setup and V1R10 update. But if i select the 747, the panel appears and after 2 seconds, the FS crashs...Not suchs problems with the 737...Any idea?regardsMarcus

hi!My only problem with the Queen is that it almost takes 10 minutes (actually 8mins:40secs) to load the plane after clicking OK in the aircraft selection list.There is one other add-on to I can compare it: the lvl-d 767, it loads in about 2 minutes.I have a mid-configuration laptop (Acer TravelMate 6003, centrino 1.6 GHz, 512 MB DDR, 64 MB integrated graphic) - I know, it's not for playing and isn't the optimal config for the 747 but games run quite well on it - and as I said before, I don't have such problems with other add-ons.There was nothing running that could slowed down the laptop.Any ideas why?Thanks in advance!Robp.s. in the game, the framerates are absolutely n…

Hi all,I just did a trip with my Queen and get an error message (INVALD ENTRY) as I enterd the ILS frequency in the FMC. NAV RAD Button on FMC, and then the frequency of the ILS Button on 1L. Message: INVLID ENTRY.I tried to resolve this error ondiferen airports and runways. I never was able to enter any ILS frequency.Two weeks ago it was no probleme. Hi everyone, I am attempting to fly the B1900D. I create a flightplan using FS Build v2.2, with a distance of about 115nm between airports. FSB gives me all my waypoints etc and I then export that flightplan to FS 2004.Anyway, my question is this. In real life, how would pilots navigate with this plane? Would they manually tune each VOR station along the route and fly different radials like I would do on my Cessna 172? Or would they fly using GPS, and if so, do they just fly the plane to follow the line on the little GPS screen?Thanks in advance for any help clearing this up. Regards, Greg McGuire.

Randazzo PMDGTC Autothrottle Care and Feeding but suspect this is not for the 737NG.Created and flew a flight using the FMC from KPHL 9L to KJFK 4L using the AROKE approach.I am writing this because I cannot figure out how to setup an Auto Pilot flight for this same route.On the ground I can't get anything displayed in the MCP other than ARM displayed in the THRUST section of MCP. Hi I am having a problem with LNav. I entered in the flight plan and took off fine and LNav engaged just fine but later i saved my panel state and the game. When i reloaded, LNav turned off because there was no active flight plan so I actived the flight plan again and was still on the path and heading towards the correct waypoint but when i pressed LNav it would turn on and turn off again and the FMC didn't post any kind of message. Why is LNav not working?Thank You

:-wavePlease help: I downloaded the Northwest and United Airline liveries and installed them. When I start FS9 and select Boeing-PMDG as the aircraft manufacturer and attempt to change the aircraft variation the only one thats available is the PMDG House Livery. The texture.NW and Texture.UA are both present and they are referenced in the aircraft cofiguration and aircraft cofiguration backup files. I have tryed twice to install the liveries to no avail. Please help.Thanks

Hi gents,Is there any calculation, graph documentation or alike showing how to calculate drift down after engine failure for the PMDG 747. My question is limited to engine failure arising at cruising altitude and not shortly after take-off in mountainous aera for which there are specific procedures.Any hints would be appreciated.ThanksMichael

I recently had some problems with my PMDG744, so I uninstalled all PMDG aircraft, and deleted any remaining PMDG folders.I then reinstalled the 737-6/700, then the 737-8/900, and finally the 744.The problems I had are now sorted, and all is well while flying.However, when I now EXIT FS9, regardless of flight or aircraft, my PC freezes for about a minute, then presents an error message stating that 'FS9 had to close due to an error', and asks if I would like to restart it.If I uninstall the 744, the problem goes away.It's driving me mad - any ideas?Phil Symonds

Help!Question for the 747 autoland.Would appreciate any help to determine why the AP disconnects on final in the 747 around 50 AGL. I beleive I have all set up right on approach. Everything is smooth and GS is locked on. I have a LAND readout with FLARE and ROLLOUT on the primary display. At around 50 AGL IU get a warning claxon announcing AP disconnect at which time I have to dive for the stick to get the girl on the ground.Do I need a LAND 3 for a full autoland and is that only available at some airports? This does not seem right as even at some major internationals I can't autoland. Could it have something to do with tuning for ILS as I do nothing now just select…

I've never had any problem with the NG before this. I have both the 737NG and 8-900 series. I reinstalled FS9 recently and I loaded my usual addons (MyTraffic 2004, EditVoicePack and LevelD 767) and then I installed the PMDG 737 series (NG then 8/900 series), followed by installing the NavData package. All went smoothly until I tried running the sim.Every aircraft works flawlessly except for the PMDG 737. The Airac database loads fine however when I click FLY now, I get the usual window

Hello, Im having a problem with the 747 when I almost reach crusing altitude or Im about an hour into flight FS crashes.The error it comes up with is panels.dll any ideas on this.Brett

A question for the PMDG team / beta testers:In the 747 panel ini file there is a flag to switch on an AOA indicator, yet I am not aware of this being a feature on the 744. Is this some sort of 'legacy' flag from the 737's or is it actually modelled/subject to future modelling?

I have designed my new VA livery but for some reason I cant get rid of the world map on the 737-900. Its a world map water mark of some kind. Can someone tell me how to get rid of it?

I have just purchased the 747 Queen and am new to this or any other form so forgive me if I am posting to an incorrect place. I have followed this site for a while and remember a while back seeing a post that delt with calibrating the CH trottle quardrant. It had to do with how they were able to acheive reverse thrust with this quad. I do recall that he used Peter Dawson's FSUIPC, to help accompish this. I can't much passed this point. Any help with this is much appreciated.Thanks

Hi,Just a few requests ;-)I entered the hold yesterday and my "Best Speed" value didn't change when I extended flaps.Also, I choose to select TAI at FL200 in the Forecast descent page. Hey GuysAfter taking a long break from flight simulation (about 3 years) I am back and excited with all the changes I have seen.The last add on I bought was wilco a320 and I was disappointed with the virtual cockpit even though they tried their best to create one.My question is, is it possible to fly entirely from the virtual cockpit with the PMDG 737? Are the gauges easy to read? How are frame rates? Is it possible to save different views and jump back easily to them?Sorry for all the questions, I hope to buy soon!Ted320
