Hi..Randy,I did exactly what you said and this has no effect at all.Let me just say that I also use the PMDG 737 600/700 FMC exactly the same way and it works as it should on this aircraft..The thing is even if you input a very simple route, lets say two way points into the FMC. It will activate it ok but will only fly to the first waypoint then go off on it merry way somewhere els.Surly it is not the way to input the next waypoint manually everytime it is coming up? I do need to go and get a coffee now and again.Is is a new copy of 747-400 I have and is not a download copy..Maybe you could elaborate a bit more for me..I am getting frustrated a bit..lol.Mark

Hi everyone,I have a little nagging problem with my PMDG 747-400. I have always liked to replay my landings from external view, as I perform the landing in the cockpit. However, recently I've been having a problem with the PMDG 747-400 in that when I replay for say, 60 seconds, it only replays to around 3 seconds before I set the replay. I cannot for the life of me get it to replay any further back than this.I don't think I used to have this problem, but it's been happening solidly for that last few flights now.It doesn't happen with any other aircraft, except I think around a year ago it happened a couple of times with the POSKY 744.I don't know if it's a simulator bu…

Hi, I took a flight last night from RJAA to VHHH and had a few things go "wrong" (not with PMDG, but with something I must've done or overlooked), and I was wondering if anyone could spot the problem or provide suggestions/tips. I'm trying to reinstall the 737 package,I installed the mini-SU, but when I ran SU-1 I get this message. After trying to find an exist TOPIC for this, now I have opened one.The first PMDG version has an incredible high rate by autoland, above 200 fpm. After the patch, the actual version (v1.1) it is always able to produce a rate under 200, in mean time around 150 fpm.Landing by hand, I can reach from a 50 to 100 fpm, in very ideal situations, but this time I always land too late on runway, near the limit to going around. The correct approach speed has been aligned, the plane is on it, but some times against this, the plane make a three point landing with some reairborne, and with a falling down like a rock result. After dosens of landings, I HAVE NO STABLE WAY FOR AN AVARGE …

Hi. First time on the forum. Just to say what a great product the PMDG 400 is. But I have one small question - I'm not getting any V speed readouts from the pnf, even though the box is checked in the options menu. I am getting the 80 knot call, but thats the only one. All other sounds are working just fine.

Hello,Is there a way to import, directly from inside PMDG 747-400 FMC, an already defined flight plan from FS2004 flight plan directory?I have many personal flight plans in FS2004 flight plan directory, each with corrected waypoints, altitude restrictions, speed limits and SID-STARS, so import it in PMDG 747-400 FMC is a substancial time saver.ThanksValter - Brazil

Hi all, i just want to know if any of you guys know a free route compiler for the 744 FMC. Tried "fsroute" http://www.fsroute.com/ but for a reason i cannot load the plan that i created/downloaded from fsroute.So is there any other route compiler that is free..I just dont want to spend so much time for keying like 80 waypoints/fixes on the FMCI'm not a really serious simmer kind of person here. Please help dont want to be stuck on using the default FS9 planner and GPS flight. I just want to utilize the great use of the 744 FMC. Thanks in advance,Monnette Ara

Being a new member from December 05, this is my first posting and I want to put on record the marvellous support I have received from PMDG in respect of their 737NG I have had for over a year and my newly acquired 747. They have never failed to reply to my numerous enquiries in under 48 hours with clear explantions on how to deal with my problems and I am completely sold on the quality of their aircraft to the exclusion of all the other quality aircraft I have.Alan ChadwickCardiff(Wales)

Hello!My hard drive recently crashed and I lost my 1900D aircraft. Am I able to re-download it without paying for it again?

Are there any plans to release a manual that states what assumed temperatures to use for different runway lengths and weights?I know that RW airlines use individual customised tables for each runway at each airport, but LDS managed to knock together a very good generic table for their 767. Was wondering if PMDG will do the same, as it becomes very difficult without one to know just how much derated thrust you can get away with.I also now about the program tomaflex. However, it hasn't been updated dince December and still doesn't have support for the LDS 767 that has been out for a while now.Any info on this subject will be appreciated.-Phil

Hey guys, Sorry this is a bit off topic but I cant find help anywhere else and this is the closest place in my opinion that I could get it elsewhere. I know a lot of ppl in here now own DBS Walk & Follow so they could get wing views for the 744. I recently bought this program to add a little extra fun to my long haul flights with PMDG's awsome plane. ;-) Now i've run into a problem, I cant seem to find anybody in the IGFly forum, its dead. I've got Stefan's latest (513).Does that conatainall of the DP/STARS as well as navaid, airway and fix info?I always seem to be fighting with STARS and runways- missing runways and procedures etc.Thakns,Tim

I am NOT by any means comparing products but experienced something strange yesterday. I set up and flew from KORD to CYYZ using a 767 with the real weather thingy in FS9. I used a STAR for the approch to CYYZ and landed perfectly.I then set up the 747 using the same flight plan perameters minus the STAR at CYYZ which was non-existent in the FMC. At takeoff the 747 did a 360 degree turn to magenta line but all went well using vnav until decent. The plane descended according to altitudes set on the FMC legs page but the speed stayed at 300 knots and would not change. I had to use MCP speed control to slow down. I am going to try it again now because I may have missed some…

Is there any chance that PMDG would consider re-engineering the NG so that it could save MCP and FMC settings among other things? It's a hugely appealing and useful aspect of their wonderful Queen. I find that I rarely fly the NG now because it requires so much "fiddling" from a saved file to re-program the FMC and the MCP and other control aspects such as autothrottle being turned off when re-loading such a file, etc.Just a thought. Does anyone know how I can uninstall the Beech 1900D and C? I don't see it in Start/All Programs, and it's not listed when I search for it in the "Add/Remove" tool. And I don't find an uninstall app in the Beech folders.I'm only going to temporarily uninstall it because I have to uninstalland re-install FS9/Many thanks for any suggestions..Bill

Hello all 747 gurus:I must be missing an overhead panel setting 'somewhere', but my CRTs (in the 747-400) disappear within 30-seconds of startup. The generators appear to be runnning and power is on. Any ideas appreciated.
