Hi all,I've noticed something on some of my takeoffs in the 744. Sometimes, while following the FD, the stick shaker will activate. The attitude is not near the pitch limit indicator, nor is the speed in the yellow band. When I reduce pitch so that the shaker no longer activates, the plane accelerates past the target speed.I'm using the latest version, as well as the latest FSUIPCWhat am i doing wrong?Thanks for any helpPaul

A while back there was some forum chat about PMDG doing new or revised sound files for the 744. I generally find the sounds to be pretty good inside the a/c, but disappointing in SPOT view in particular. Are we likely to see any re-done sound files in the near future?Thanks!Jonathan

Hi Does anybody know why the EICAS screens after about 30 seconds of loading the PMDG747 turns to a black screen. I have read 1 other post on this but wat was suggested didn't work for me. Thanks Steve

I have the impression that the 744 even at lighter weights needs a relatively high nose up attitude even at speeds near Vref+10 and a little higher than this.From the 2D view there's no problem, but in spot view the plane looks a little strange with the nose so much up.Don't know the exact value of degrees now, will check that again.Is this normal?Andreas

Hi. Last night I was flying on VATSIM and was vectored by ATC to intercept the destination ILS. I (wrongly) anticipated that the controller would ask me to report established as I was on a perfect intercept heading. I was getting near the glide so I selected APP and the autopilot obediently started to capture the localizer and glide slope.The controller then vectored me away from the approach path for a go-around, presumably due to traffic, so I needed to disengage APP and return to HDG select/ALT mode. I couldn't do it and ended up having to kick the AP off completely and hand-fly all the way through the go-around, until landing. Hard work!There must be something I …

Hi,I'm using FSPassengers and until now I only tried it with the B1900C which has worked just fine but yesterday I bought the PMDG 737-800 in FSPassengers and got a problem before t/o with the CG and a message telling me the a/c was unflyable. I have read numerous threads about this at FSP's forum but I'm still confused about all this.Is there anyone else in here using FSPassengers with the B738 that could tell me the best way to load up the a/c with fuel and pax in the most realistic way and in a way that will not trigger this error message?Thanks in advance,

HiI assume you have seen this video once or twice. It's driving my her indoors nuts, this weekend I asked her to switch the heating on and she said 'heating pump check' !!IIRC - the crew use autostart, but pull the overhead start-switch and then set the fuel cut off to run. According to the PMDG AOM P 109. If using autostart you select the fuel to run first. Perhaps Alan & Co, havnt RTFM ;-)Anyone ?Steve

Hi all, I was wondering if others have had problems with the 737NG's taxi, landing and runway turnoff lights "bleaching" the landscape (runways, taxiways, etc.). I have tried different combinations of the lights on and off and I still get the same results. I actually find it easier to see the runway by turning the lights off when landing...that ain't right ;-).Look at the screenshots below. Notice how the runway numbers are barely visible on the cockpit view and not visible at all on the external view. I would expect these lights to illuminate, not drowned out the scenery. I cannot locate my loadmaster for the PMDG B744. i did a search on these forums and I have found resposes saying it is at: C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator 9PMDG747400_LoadManager.exeI've looked there and I still dont have it. HiQuestion regarding starting the APU whilst in the air. My PMDG 747 won't allow me. Is this inhibited in the PMDG and what is the r/l situation. Perhaps none of the failure checklists ie electrical bus failure ask for APU start ?MTIASteve

This is the second time I have posted about this. My night textures are not working correctly in the VC for my 738, I have not tried the other models. The glareshield and around the gauges, the overhead and the FMCs turn into the night textures but the main panel and the stuff around the second MFD and throttle dont.Watsup

I know this topic was already discussed because I saw it a while ago but I can't find it anymore. Anyway, whenever I attempt to activate the VNAV, I get two FMC messages. One saying "Unable to crz alt" or something similar. After I press CLR, a second message pops up saying "VNAV Unavailible. I looked through the manual but I usually look through the wrong areas when I look for things anyway. I checked the FMC section.Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong or where I can look? Thanks

SWEEET!! Im gonna have to buy this CDU but I have a few questions as I found the page on the PMDG website kinda confuseing.. Do I need seperate units for the 737NG and 744? It said something about a key or whatever, will current owners need to re-install of re-purchase the aircraft to get the licsense to make the aircraft compatible. I have bought PMDG 747-400 . I make all the procedure to start up , but , when on the runway , during the take off , wheter at V1 or rotate , or V2 ( random ) I have a message " impact " and the flight end. I run a Saitek Cyborg Evo Force without problem with all my MSFS .Thanks for your help .Maurizio
