    Hi all,I purchased PMDG 747-400 last weekend and everything is working fine so far. But I noticed one little thing: normally when you have tuned in a VOR you will hear the sound of the station identifier if you have activated the correspondent audio channel in the COM-Panel. It seems, that this will not work for the PMDG 747-400 quite well. What I hear most of the time is a corrupt audio signal. In other words: the morse code sound is cut off after the first beeps. Let

    Does anyone have a good rule of thumb for calculating the weight or number of pallets to alot for passenger baggage on the 744. When planning a long trip with a full passenger load, I am trying to figure out how many pallets are realistically required for baggage, since I don't want to load any more pallets than necessary.     Hey EveryoneI am struggling to choose what thrust setting to use on specific Take-Offs (on the 744). I want to De-Rate the thrust as much as I can, but when can I do this? How do I know if I don't use max thrust I won't get off the runway? Are there any tables out there referring to what distance is used during specific situations using different settings eg TO, T01 and TO2? thanksP.S. The only things I know are that in wet weather or if you have a tailwind you shouldn't de-rate.

    I can't get VB3 (demo) to work with PMDG 737/800/900. Yes it does a little bit, but it doesn't turn on/off switches, etc. like it should. Does anyone have any checklists they have designed and used with VB3? That's what I would want it to do before I spend the money for it. I Like the product but it doesn't seem to support PMDG. I want to be able to create any and all the PMDG checklists.Of course, eDimensional says it supports PMDG, but I don't see it. The demo is supposed to be fully functional for 15 days, so I assume it does everything the full package does.Thanks for your help.Arnie

    Ok, here's the situation. I'm on approach with the autopilot flying the ILS and everything is normal. I then decide to do a missed approach and hit the TO/GA button, things aren't so normal after that. The plane pitches up and continues to increase in pitch until I hear the stick shaker and eventually it would enter a stall if I had let it. It can't be right when the plane pitches to more than 20 degrees nose up on the go around. Any thoughts on this situation would be appreciated.ThanksZach

If I recall correctly, when the QOTS was released initially, the ordering server was having trouble handling the load, and there was a number of issues with the system beyond your control. Would you think that taking pre-orders for the F (considering the immense amount of interest) would be something that would lift the load in the first days of the release?     I've got four days experience with the 737NG and I love it. Problem: I don't know if I'm missing something or I've discovered a simulation limit. The manual says altitude constraints A or B can be entered but don't work on the Legs screen. It also appears that constraints provided by the SID don't work. I am flying SWA2537 route LAS-LAX, which uses BROACH2 DP... I'm departing 01R today due to winds. The FMS knows the first fix off the end of the runway PAWEK is a OVERFLY, but ignores the altitude restriction at the 2d fix BESSY, which is AT or BELOW 7000. It's about a 10nm leg to BESSY so the 7000 restriction is real, and I verified the SIDSTAR file is correct. When I set…
