I have recently encountered some problems with FS9 So I decided to re-installe FS9 but before I do I would like to know how to go about with the re-installation of PMDG B1900, B737NG and 740 Queen of the skies? As you can see I am a good customer of PMDG products and I have all of these aircrafts that I downloaded some of them I thing of Queen of the skies ask for specific code or password, I can't remember exactly. So I want to make sure that I will be able to re-use those a/c.ThanksIng.

Hello there.Been using ICAO as step profile, but only on west bound flights...When I fly East bound I use even FLs and if I have set my FMC to ICAO the FMC wants me to step first to an odd number then plus 4000ft...EXAMPLE:My initial CRZ ALT is FL320 and Step is set to ICAO, my next step alt will be listed as FL350?? Then FL390Shouldn't it be like FL320 to FL360? Thence FL400 if feasable.Thanks.Boaz.

While its probably too late to incorporate into the 747 models, maybe it could for future products.I've been covering mass and balance in ground school lately, and it would be nice if the load manager could be a bit more complex:-1) It would be nice if you could (similar to the PSS B777 one) enter the number of flight crew, and cabin crew, either randomly, or by clicking on a seat position.2) Show the maximum useful load, allowing us to trade-off fuel or pax/cargo3) Also it would be nice if we could specify weights for the different cargo pallets4) Incorporate an integrated fuel planner

Hi Team,Was nice to hear about the various updates. I have just one request would it at all be possible to have an in depth tutorial?? I appreciate this has been asked several times but I'd say my flying skills aren't bad ish but feel it's always good to have a tutorial. I have smithys one which was helpful,but I remember you saying you would produce one.Secondly Is anybody good at producing SID/STAR charts ie for Anchorage etc as me being hopeless and the instructions I have I don't have a clue let alone where to start. was just thinking would be good to have both procdeures aswell as some USA one's that are missing as they are a big cargo airport.Many ThanksJason Thomps…

I've got a three week old product, did the 800/900 upgrade, but I don't think my Load Manager has ever worked. The applications seems to work, but info is never written to FS. When I check the payload via either the Fuel Manager or the FS menu, I never see a change made by the Load Manager. Fuel Manager loads fuel okay.It looks like a really neat tool, I've searched the forum back for a couple of years but haven't found this squawk yet so I guess I've gotten something wrong. Seems simple enought to use.Any suggestions appreciated.

So your flight plans can look like the real ones...I quite like this one, it looks quite close to some photos of American Airlines flight plans I have seen that are printed on those dot matrix printers. It looks horrible on screen but prints out great. Size 11 and normal is what I think is about right.Maybe not entireley relevant to PMDG - but I guess lots of people here print their FSBuild or FOC or whatever flight plans. HI allI,M attemping a PMDG tutorial.The problem is when I save a flight in FS9 it accepts it ,but when I select the flight everything is alright (plane, Radio freq, ADF etc) except for the main panel which does not save those changes (altitude. speed, V1,vr speeds headings etc) Could someone point me to as what I am doing wrong Also If I open up the folder and access the save flight there the main panel does not show any instruments?Thankyou Graham

Hey Ryan--I know you along with some other folks (like psolk) have been having graphics driver issues with your 7 series card, manifested in anything from flickering to misplaced textures. I, too, have the same problem, and I usually ran the 77.79 drivers, but on someone's advice I upgraded to 78.05. I am not sure if the driver upgrade has been the cause, since my sim is constantly 'evolving', but I started getting crashes in EGLL on final at about 500 feet AGL. Guaranteed crash, anywhere from OOM (happened only once), to aiplayr.dll (several times, tested), and yesterday a new one: d9d3.dll, or something of sort. Doesn't seem to happen anywhere else. Fernando,The real one always overshoots the magenta line on entering the hold, and also will go past the line on any further holds by a far amount.I wouldn`t worry too much as its inacuracy in the hold although I`m sure not intentional? makes it more realisticregardsJon

I purchased the PMDG 747 and proceeded to install it but I have run into a problem. I can not get it to confirm itseld. I have tried using the order number, transaction ID and Auth, code without succecs. Which one is the order ID? I am also on a slow connection (37.2 kbps)can that also be why it won't confirm? Helo Pilots!I have a problem with the FMC on the 747, and some questions for flight planning.Let's see the problem first:Yesterday i wanted to make a flight from Helsinki to Anchorage.I put in the origin EFHK and to destination PANC. An error mesage comes up which said PANC err: 06L rwy unknown.After that i can put the plan in the FMC but cant select runways for landing in Anchorage.Theres no stars and runways to select.I have the latest (0513) AIRAC and sid/stars from navdata.at .I live in europe and did my previous flights form europe to asia or to americas east coast(JFK, BOS).So i've never flown to Anchorage.The second one is a big question.I would like to make some p…

Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere. Did check the FAQ - but could find nothing.I have recently had to perform a fresh install of XP on my main PC.The 737 - 600/700 is working fine but when I try and reinstall the 737-800 file it just opens a DOS window briefly and then nothing.Where can I download the 737-800/900 full install from? Do I have to email PMDG first with my previous receipt?Any advice (or links to threads I have missed) would be most appreciated!ThanksAdam

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to use the video capture program called 'GameCam' with the 737 and 747? For some reason, the gamecam window won't come up with these two aircraft so I can't make any videos with them.Simon

Haven't flown in a while, maybe settings changed, doubt it though. anyway...with Frame Rates locked at 20, as soon as I activate the FMC, they drop from 19.9 to the 2 and 3 range. Why is this, and is there a solution for it.Thanks in advance guys.

i saw this photo on airliners.net, and the label of the photgraph indicated that this was a United Airlines B744. the upper EICAS shows an EPR indication.i thought EPR values were only on RB211 engines, and not PW. does UA have 744s that are equipped with RB211s? anyway, whatever answers your guys may have would be cool to hear.maximhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/144533.gif

Hiya allI have just started using the 737-800 and its a fantastic plane. I did my first successful flight today. One thing that happened was quite strange, ATC vectored me to final "turn left heading 030 decend and maintain 2500 feet untill established on the localizer" I dial in the alt and heading on the auto pilot. The plane turns left and starts to decend fine but once it is supposed to be on a heading of 030 the plane was actually on a heading of about 041. I had to keep adjusting the heading untill the plane was on a 030 heading but the heading selecter on the autopilot now read something like 021.I know its probably a feature but for someone like me this is m…
