PMDG General Forum

Anyone know if PMDG intends to make their 737 NG compatible with the new FS version X when it comes out at the end of the year? I, for one, will never upgrade to the new FS if PMDG does not make their 737 work with the new version. For me, there is just no point in upgrading in that case.Thanks.Chris Catalano

Hi all,I have been trying to configure a few buttons on my yoke to make them disengage the autopilot and autothrottle. For the most default fs aircraft i can get them to work, but not for the PMDG 73 and 74. Is there any way to make this work by using FSUIPC or maybe a keycommand via joytokey? Thanks in advance... Over the past 2 weeks when I finish setting up my fmc and need to select my v speeds it is not coming up when I sleect the v speed key on the right. I have to manualy in put them. Has this ever been a prob with someone, did u fix the prob and how to correct it.Cordell

hello captains...just modified the aircraft.cfg to get wing views on my 747-400... now I can nicely look out on both sides, but do not see the wings anywhere?Any suggestions?Thanks in advance for the time and patience in awnsering!

I asked this a while back and no one responded. For some reason when I'm in the air with the NG (-600 to -900), I can't get any rudder authority unless I turn off the Yaw Damper. The rudder works fine on the ground for taxi, and I have no problems in any other aircraft with rudder input. My auto-coordination is most certainly off, and I have no other settings I can think of that would cause me to lose the ability to have some control in crosswinds. It makes dealing with x-winds on final a real problem.What could it be that it only works with the YD turned off when it should be left on?

Hi all, the wait is over, the drivers for the Engravity CDU have arrived. I just purchased and installed these drivers (I immediately received the key by e-mail....excellent). I copied the license key to the FS 2004/PMDG folder as instructed. When I want to connect to the CDU by means of the PMDG menu in FS 2004 I get the error: Unlicensed serial number of CDU. When I open the key with notepad, I see that the key is licensed to 0090, the serial number of my CDU is indeed 00090. What am I doing wrong? Ok, having just tried a flight for the first time in a while with the 744 my question is this.When using the auto throttle can't thrust/speed mode be selected from the FMC/CDU or do you have to select it from the CDU then also select the appropriate function from the MCP?Just a little confused here, because I still can't seem to get this right anymore.Thanks.

Anybody have a Gateway 21" Widescreen Monitor? I'm thinking on buying one to run PMDG 737 & 747 series software. I'm wandering how good it will show and if it will show on the whole screen and not just a partial showing.The resolution is 1680 by 1080 & I was wandering if I should hold out for a 1600X1200 resolution or would that matter!!The brightness is 300:1 and the contrast is 1000:1....Model # is FPD2185W "LCD Monitor" with 8ms response time.HD-ready via DVI with HDCP and component inputs.Anybody have one of these and like it.Regards & thanks for any inputs.jack

When I download the United livery and then go into planes I can not see this plane.Since it is a self installing program I do not know what I am doing wrong.Can someone please let me know how to install it so I can bring up the United paint?Thanks. Newbie here so your help is much appreciated.

Guy's I'm trying to reinstall the PMDG 747, I lost the data doing a upgrade of my hard drive so I e-mailed my request to PMDG they sentme the install data, Ive tryed to reinstall the plane three timesat least, I went throught the complete setup with no problem everything went fine till the progrom start's to install. The install start's than stop with one bar on the install this happens every time, I read that the popup may have to be turned off I did that same thing happened than I turned off all security system on the internet same thing What do I do now, The install is only good for five days and this is the 3rd dayThank's MuchAlvin

Sorry. no speak english. I purchase PMDG 747-400 and the panel, the tree LCD are off.No lighting. All the others functions are good and the aircraft navigate OK. In PMDG 737-600/700 and PMDG 737-800/900 all functions are good. My PC is Win XP, HD120Gb, Geforce128Mb and 2 Gb Ram. My FSUIPC is 3.48. Pleese help me

Hello all!I don't know if I post this in the right forum, but I have a problem with my PMDG 747-400 wich I just bought from the shop.Loading goes without problems and I can use all the displays and buttons and displays in the cockpit, but after about one minute all the displays (except the CDU) go blank (black) and will remain like this whatever I do.Help! This package was to expensive for 50 seconds of fun!I've installed the latest drivers for my videocard.Best regards,Christiaan

I purchased your planes a few months ago and I was wondering if the windshield wipers should be working in the vc on the 600/700 model. I saw a post from 3 years ago that said you would be adding this so I am wondering was this ever added and if so why aren't mine working.
