I have a question. Will the 737-NG the 747-400 and 400F and the B1900 will be compatible with the Flgiht Simulator X?

Oh why not break up the tension and excitment with some practical conversation.At this point, I intend taking delivery of the F at KBFI (I would take it at Everret but the taxi way is just inadequet in default FS9). Then, under Cargolux colors, flying to KLAX to pick up a bunch of freight and then on to ELLX (Luxembourg) for full delivery. Plan B would be just to go to KBFI and take delevery and then go direct to ELLX. The highlights of an FMC guided flight (for me) are takeoff to cruise altitude followed by planning and achieving a smooth landing.During the flight I monitor the instruments, check the FMC, watch the aircraft from spot view but otherwise find little to interest me. After a while I resort to accelerating the Sim Speed by four to get to my destination quicker.I often read of the pleasure others have in undertaking long flights and always wonder at the motivation for these flights. Have I been missing out on something?Cliff

Hi there I hope anyone can help, I am trying to load a flight plan for the PMDG 747-400 using FS BUILD 2.2, however when I am trying to load a flight plan say for example OMDB (DUBAI) to EGLL (HEATHROW) it only gives me two exact points from OMDB to EGLL and then a numerous scribble of green lines take over displayed on the map, therefore it is not giving me a full way point direction, how do you rectify this probem as this only happens on couple of routes and not all of them such as EGLL to HECA (CAIRO) where it produces the correct waypoint legs, thanks in advance. Hey GuysJust wondering if any of you are willing to share you viewpoint setup/Track IR profiles for the 747. I am having difficulties looking up to see the overhead when using the queen.

Why does the AP disco warning alarm go off sometimes when lifting off in the 744? I cannot find a consistent reason for this. Or it a glitch? I wondered if it was an alarm for lifting off prior to attaining V2 when heavy; or whether the angle of climbout is too steep; or....something.Is this bad piloting or is this an unintended alarm?Jonathan

Everything was working fine as the flight started (KDFW-KDEN) but about 100 miles from Denver I was unable to change any of the radio frequencies or switch from standby/active. The mouse cursor responded and recognized the click areas but nothing happened when I clicked or scrolled.The NAV1 had been tuned to the ILS freq prior to this malfunction but did not capture it when I was in range. Everything else on the panel worked properly.Roger Curtiss

Hello,After making a few flights, the VOR tuning of the FMC becomesinaccurate. That is, picking the wrong ones and when I try amanual entry like 117.55, I get 117.00. However, the FMC carries out a normal LNAV and VNAV. I align the IRS L, C and R every time I start a flight. I alsomake a purge at the pos. init page.How can this annoying problem be solved.?Regards,Nico

Hi all.I have a weird problem with the B744 which already happened a few times to me.If I'm panning around in the cockpit (2d cockpit) then all of a sudden the screen goes black and my computer restarts. This will not happen every time but always when you're not expecting it.Is somebody known with this problem?Regards,Peter.BTW it's a great plane anyway.

When I check my Sid/Stars folder I dont have the procedures for EGLL and LFPG. Does anyone have these? I just Downloaded the 603 procedures from Terry Yingling and they are not in there. Actually I have never had them for thse airports. There are a few more major Airports missing but I fly to theses two a little more often. Can anyone help out?Thanks

Hi to all,i do have a problem with the crt screens of the pmdg B747 panel,all the fonts and numbers are too large,so that they do ovelap and make reading difficult,(apart of looking ugly,compaired to the rest of the airplane).please look the attached picture. Any Ideas??:It runs on a notebook with ati 9700 graphics,screen resolution 1400x1050.Changing windows font size or screen resolution doesnt change this.All the rest works fine,all other aicraft do display their panels correctly,so must be a pmdg problem.Appreciate any help,many thanks,Jo

Would it be possible to release some 400F liveries in advance of the aircraft to take some load of the site .Keith

I have tried every way I know to use the keyboard to enter new fuel values into the PMDG options fuel loader. When I start the fuel loader, the current fuel value is highlighted which usually means you can use your keyboard to enter a new value. Is there another way other than clicking the up and down arrows? Not a real big deal but kind of inconvenient if the existing fuel level is quite different from the desired level.Unless there is something wrong with my system, I would like to suggest this as a future enhancement.Thanks.

Hi everyone, I use FS Build v2.2 to create my flightplan, which I then export as a PMDG FMC file and as an FS2004 file.I'm just wondering though how I would calculate how much fuel I would need (including reserves) for a specific flight? At the moment I really am estimating but I would love to get it realistic to the way they would calculate fuel for a certain destination in real life. I'm flying the 744 by the way thanks, Paul.P.S. A semi-related question. Is there anywhere I can find out the routes of real 744 operators, what time they fly, the cost index they use etc? Developers,Do you guys have plans to make an update/upgrade for the 737NG for the "No eyebrow" version of the 737-800? Posky has one and its a beautiful sight to have the newest version of a 737NG plane.
