HiI use the 737 on Vatsim and after landing, when applying a little throttle to taxi I get the t/o config warning sound, this is even with the flaps retracted and the spoilers stowed, any thoughts on how I can stop this sound ?MTIASteve

I notice, when flying under FMC control, that my 737NGs do a "wing waggle" every so often, as if the stick has been moved from side-to-side. This is not in response to a turn command from the AP/FMC but happens on a straight part of the flight plan. Is there a tweak in the aircraft.cfg file, such as roll stability, that would help with this or is there some other cause?Iain

Hello all. I'm trying to learn a bit more about transponders, the different types there are, how they work, what the controller sees on his radar screen etc. Does anyone know where I can find such informaiton?I realize this is way off topic and for that I apologize. Hi everyone,[aside] My girlfriend has been so great. She accepts the fact that I am a bit obsessive with flight simming. She's even participating sometimes, acting as "god", or "fate", or whatever. Before flying, I ask her to roll dice and depending on what odds i give her, and from the dice roll, she will trigger a random failure(s)when I leave the room. Since accidents rarely happen, I usually tell her 8% chance of a failure. But, recently, I've been bumping that up to 35%. Is it just me or has the infamous CTD started re-ocurring on other people's machines when exiting FS9 while the 747F is loaded? I had this problem when the original v1 747 was released but the update 1.02 which patched the pmdgoptions.dd file curred that. Now, after installing the 747F, the CTD is back.FS9 exits, and then a error window titled "FS9.exe" pops up referencing some memory location. I searched for this issue but it doesn't appear to have been discussed since late last year. I do have the 747F v1.01 update installed too. My pmdgoptions.dll file is dated 3/22/2006 with an internal version 1.0.3.20 and size of 223 KB (228,352 bytes).Can someone else cofirm t…

Hi all,Since last week I do have a strange error. When I use the level D 767or PMDG 737 747 and check the FMC with fuel weight and speed and so on, so far so good.So I taxi to the runway, and when I take off I usally arm LNAV and VNAV and the AP, even so the FD and the A/T. No problems, But then the AP is suddenly disconnecting and the plane is uncontrolled going down.I'm desperately reformat the partition installed everything all over again. Well, what a beauty she is. I swear she runs smoother than the pax version on my system. The new sounds are so much better than what we had with the pax version. Handles like a dream. Only problem I found is with the KLM Cargo 744F, in the VC, the manuals are for China Airlines! Eric

Hi all:-) I am having an issue while flying a route offset in LNAV. Are any route mods not allowed? For example, a runway change? I loose the offset,and am not able to imput one again. Also,how often is this used in real world ops? With the precision of today's INS, I would be using this function if I were the captain.:-) Thank's for the great product!

Hey PMDG,Just was re-downloading the 737 liveries, darn bad CDR. Anyway there are two files that have broken links. They are:737-600 Boeing Dreamliner737-700 Malaysian Airline System (PS drop the s on the end of Systems)Luckly I had these two, but for others I think they would want these two.

Hi all,I thought I'd update on you on the FPS issues I was having at the end of last week.I built a high spec machine with a lot of grunt to cope with the 747 at a high resolution in the VC. I really wanted 30fps to avoid headaches.I had purchased some new memory, and after setting it up correctly in the bios, I'm now seeing the FPS I need.If anyone else is struggling with FPS, and have a high spec machine - chances are - the problem is your RAM. I found a direct correlation between how fast the RAM was benchmarking and FPS in the VC.So its not all CPU and GPU... despite what I thought before. Sorry if this is old news to some but it might help others avoid the work I had…

Has anyone noticed that the brake temps do not increase on landing with the autobrake doing it's stuff. They only increase with manual braking. Can't wait for the replies.

Good day all. I was wondering if someone can tell me the ranges for the PMDG 737 series. I believe in real life that the 737-700 has the longest range, but it seems that with the PMDG version the 737-700 has a relatively shorter range than the others. Is this true, or is it just my mind playing tricks on me? Thanks for the help as always. -- Jake

Howdywas thinking of purchasing a raptor hard drive but just wondering does it have much of a performance inprovement in frames for the 747 or FS in general over a normal hard drive? What i want to do is seperate FS from WindowsXP and give FS its own hard drive. I want to run the Queen with the best possible setup to get the most out of it. Cheers
