I've asked this once before without any response. Hopefully someone knows what going on because i sure don't! I have everything set in the FMC. I'm in route heading toward my destination. But when I check the flight's progress ("prog key) the miles left to destinationkeep going up! Shouldn't they be going down as i approach my destination? Help!Thanks all,Bob AdamsSNA

Hello,When I fly with the PMDG 747_400 and I use autopilot, after a few seconds the joystick start moving and the autopilot stops. When I hold the stick firmly so it can't move the autopilot stays on and works perfect.What should I do the avoid this problem, what switch do I overlook.Thanks.Eric

Hello all,Have a slight problem with the 747's ever since I loaded the inpfoved version of the KLM livery for the 747-400F.First of all it does not show up in the menu. Second of all everytime I try to fly it my screen goes black and uncle Bill tells me there was a fatal error and tries to start up my FS again.Now it also effects the passanger 747's. Hello everybody. I have two quick questions about the PMDG 747 and 737.1) I know that 32-bit textures take up Frame Rates. It usually says that using 32-bit textures 'may' decrease performance on some machines. Does the 'may' mean that it totally depends on the PC, and it might run fine on some PCs, or does it mean that it WILL take up more resources, but on some machines you might not notice a difference because your machine can handle it? Also, do 32-bit textures decrease Frame Rates in the 2D Panel? Also, the manual says that if the VC is present, you will experience a drop in performance even if you are in the 2D panel but I generally don't notice a difference. 2) Is …

Hello, i bought the PMDG 744 about a month ago and hav just started to get into it. I downloaded a few DXT3 paintojbs to keep my performance running a little better. For some reason when i open the doors (SHIFT+E) i cant see them open outside or on the EICAS, is this because of the DXT3 or something else?Thanks-John B

I have really been trying to figure out how to open the nose-cargo door on the PMDG 747-400F. I tried turing it off and doing also trying it when it was on, heres a pic on what I am seeing.Bruno

HelloWhen inputing the information in the FMC of the 747 recently I received the following message "B3 VIA LOAD ERROR". I checked the load and fuel figures for the flight which seemed to be correct but the FMC would not accept my reserve fuel figure and I could not fill in that box. I must say, I don't know whether it was PMDG failure-model-induced or FS Passengers-induced, but I had an engine failure this past weekend.It started as a routine BA Virtual flight 055 from EGLL to FAJS (5000 nm, about 11.5 hrs). I took off with about 285K pounds of fuel aboard, and had 274 passengers and about 41K lbs of cargo. Right after crossing the English channel, while climbing through FL320 to FL330, a caution message came up for engine 4 Generator. I quickly found the issue in the manual (on my networked laptop), and shut down the generator, also disconnecting the drive. I was comfortable with flying on just 3 generators for another 11 hours. Hello all,In relation to hand flying the Queen, is there much difference in "feel" of the aircraft if you change the realism settings in FS to Hard in comparison to Easy?

Hello PMDG Team... Just a little report 4 the Queen's FMS. I don't know if it's supposed to work this way... but it seems like the "Climb Direct" function is only working with hard restrictions... Try this 4 exemple : LFML... RWY32R... AVN7C SID (with an altitude restriction at ML07 : 4000B)... 12000ft set on the MCP... After TO, climbing through 2000-2500ft I hit the Climb Direct btn on the CDU and execute but nothing happens : the Queens still levels off at 4000ft before passin ML07 wpt... Isn't the 4000B restriction supposed to be deleted ??? :-( As said above, with 4000ft for ex. (hard restriction), the "Climb Direct" function is working properly. Peace out !!!

I bought my PMDG 737-8/900 last year around this time. I have tried to configure it, but it still does not work properly. This is a list of the things not working correctly:1) The autothrottle will not engage;2) The yaw damper will not work. I even changed the settings it needed in the aircraft file;3) The FMC will disconnect. For example, I was flying from KIAH to MMCZ. I had programmed the SID at KIAH. After flying the SID, the FMC disconnects. Then it starts a left hand turn;4) The engines will not restart after they have turned off on the ground.This is is my first post on this forum. For the last three days I have tried to get a response from PMDG via [email protected] and [email protected] about the following matter.Due to a major computer crash I have had to reformatt my hard drive and as a result I have lost all my PMDG aircraft.There follows a list of the aircraft I purchased and the date I purchased them:09 Feb 2004 Beechcraft1900C26 April 2004 737 NG13April 2005 737- 800/90003 August 2005 747-40027 Nov 2005 Beechcraft 1900D18April 2006 747-400 Cargo I am pretty sure the dates are correct, can you please advise how I can redownload these excellent aircraft. I've been flying the 737 for quite awhile, but something seems to have happened to the model. Now, no matter what I do, the plane keeps stalling on takeoff. I set the FMC correctly, with speed bugs in place. It reaches V1, VR and then V2 on the roll. But, it won't lift off the ground. Even when I set the stabilizer trim all the way up, nothing works. In fact, the plane won't lift off regardless of the length of runway, or speed of the 737.This has never happened before. I've had many normal takeoffs until now. Any ideas?

Hello there,I was wondering if anyone could help me, I was doing a flight tonight where I was cleared for a direct routing by online atc.Instead of using the "direct to" function of the fmc I used a heading. When I got to my waypoint I found that I could not continue my planned route and received discontinuty messages for the rest of my flight. After reading up on how to use the "direct to" function could someone please tell me how to continue my flight after the selected waypoint has been reached or next time will the fmc just continue the flight plan as normal after it has reached the "direct to" waypoint?Kind Regards
