I have found that the 744F RR model cannot climb past FL270 when at max ZFW and with a fuel load of 65000KG. The 744F GE on the other hand can climb normally to FL310 with the max ZFW and same fuel load.Is this a know problem, limitation or human error? Thanks

Hi!Just bought this great A/C for my longhaul flights. Have the 737 PIC and the Super 80 before and I must say that, I know have 3 very very advanced aircraft.Took me some days to get a grip of the plane and the CDU, but nowI think I got it. Have made 2 autolands so far, but it takes sometime to fly and prepare those longhauls when one have to manualtast those route into the CDU. (737 can import from MSFS flightplan and there I export my made plan from FsNavigator first) Isn

I thought that it would be difficult to top the 737 series, but although a little behind many others, I recently received the 747 as a birthday gift and have to admit that it is stupendous.I have noticed the below the altitude tape and slightly to its right I have had the following showing 'ND TDZ' and I apologise if it has been mentioned by somebody before and as I cannot find it in the manual except in the picture on page 186 of the PDF.Can any kind soul please let me know what it means, is it indicative of a problem in the flight plan, well whatever?I would be grateful for an explanation. Many thanks,John

Hi All Quick question anyone out there using CH Flight Sim yoke with PMDG 747-400 or 737? Thinking of buying in the next month but wanted some opinions on it and how it interfaces with the sim software? Also does anyone know if it provides force feedback as my Microsoft Force Feedback joystick does?Regards Mark

Hi all, I just installed the software and it looks awesome. When I try to fly, even if the engines are running, I can switch on the eicas or hud's (they remain black, sometimes they work for a few seconds, then they turn themselves off)...can't even engage the autopilot. Is there a main avionics swich I overlooked. This is reaal frustrating. I hope someone knows the answer. Thanks all.

Hello all.Just some questions about PMDG 737-700.Q1: Can you switch the Display Units around? e.g., Captain, F/O, lower display, upper display, etc.Q2: Does the aircraft have a Head-Up Display? (HUP)Q3: Does the screen in the center consol work?Q4: Is Ice Protection modeled? In other words, when flying in icing conditions with Ice Protection off, will the plain ice over or the wings lose lift?Thank you very much.Tony.

Greetings everyone,I'm having issues on intercepting waypoints in a normal flight plan. Whenever I exceed a particular speed - very often above 200 Knots - the LNAV fails to function completely and very rarely does it re-intercept wayspoints back again. This is very common when the flight plan includes normal turns (not even close to sharp turns) that deviate away from a normal line.Any suggestions?

During my first transAtlantic run (JFK-EDDF)in the 744, the FMC progress report for remaing distance read in descending numbers. All subsequent flights however read in ascedning numbers which then creates a repeated "insuffiencient fuel" warning message as the numbers esculate to my final destination. Anyone know what's going on? I sure don't. Tried everything... I think.Bob AdamsKLAX

Hi Folks! This has nothing to do with the PMDG Products, but i think that most aviation enthusiasts will enjoy this video... It wasn't made by me, but it sure is amazing... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gzE4nIMVXmQBecause the Subtitles are written in Portuguese, I will translate them for you:" ...We don't have calm winds everyday... ...What to do in these situations?... ...FLY!... ...Come back to your training times... ...Remember your Instructors... ...And Land Safely... ... These Pilots certainly flown conventional aircraft... ...Learn with the Best... "The translation is so-so, but i guess you can understand the message...Regards,EduardoSBCT

Hi all,This might seem a little off-topic and random but bear with me.I want to do a series of nighttime 744 VC shots while approaching a large urban area in FS. For this I want the most visually impressive city approach possible. I have Ultimate Night Environment, and Night Env Upgrades which maximise the urban night texture brightness. What I need now is a venue... :-)Considerations include physical size of the urban area (the bigger the better!), city layout/shape, position of airport relative to the urban mass, anything that makes the approach visually impressive.Contenders so far include approaches into:-Mexico City-Sydney from the west or north-New York JFK from the…
