Regarding the UA895 ORD-HKG thread that I just bumped back up the first page, I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to PMDG.The routing for that flight was a polar route, and MSFS limitations aside, I encountered Split IRS Ops for the first time. This single feature is enough for me to willingly pay my $85US, all over again. Hi everybody,I just tried to perform a flight from Tehran (OIII) to Tashkent (UTTT). When I entered UTTT as my destination I got a message "UTTT err: IZW unknown" and I wasn't able to select any runway at UTTT. There wasn't any.When I put my 747 to UTTT manually and select UTTT as my starting point I still get this message but at least I can select the correct runways, SIDs as well.Any idea how to fix that in the database?Edit: It should be the latest database available...

HelloI've bought the PMDG 747-400 boxed version (version 1.1), And I have some problems whit it.When I fly on Lnav the plane only fly's to it's first waypoint, Than it just starts driffting.After I then enterd the next waypoint manualy is it by the next waypoint the same story...Is there any way to solve this problem?And than a second thing, Some thimes in-flight it's look thats the engines go dead, all engine gauges go tho nothing, And then back to normal.The fuel tanks are full, And the engines are not pushed to the limit.What can be the problem?Gino(I'm sorry for possible orthography errors, It's already late here;-))

Dear Team,I beg you please to include some wing views into the MD11, as you are still in a stage right now to make these changes and avoid later nags.Even if we have to manually chose between a virtual cockpit or wingviews in a menu to achive this visual realism (for frame rate's sake), it will be great, as I fly 2D 80% of the time.AnthonyCape TownSouth Africa

First I'd like to say the PMDG 747-400 is one awesome FS9 addon.You guys are the best in the buisness.PMDG is the standard I use to measure all others and of course none come close.Now with that said, my normal keyboard combination I use on the 737 NG (E)for opening the cabin doors and (E+2) to open the cargo bay doors doesn't work on the 747. Any Help Would Be Appreciated!

Hi,I have searched this question but could not find any matches. I am just wondering if we have any real 747 pilots in the PMDG community. If so would you mind sharing your opinions, views, critics, praises on the PMDG product? Im a loyal PMDG costumer and enjoy flying the 747 very, very much. I KNOW that the airliner simulation platforms provided by PMDG and LDS are the absolute best in this simulation world of ours but I would love to hear the honest evaluation/comments/opinions of those who fly the grand lady for real!Regards and many thanks,Alonso

I have installed the final Update, the one that remove the server option from the menu and fixes the NDB needle.But I have no VOR needles now. Currently en route from HECA to EGLL, see the pic belowhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/134732.jpgThe left VOR is set to DBA a VOR now at 7 o clock. The Right one i set at SIT at 1o clockBoth VOR are giving distance readings but no Bearing at all. On the other hand the ADF needles are working fine. Anyone else have seen this? The Avionics switch is ON in case anyone is wondering :)Any ideas?Chris

Upload to NAVData and AVSIM-Flight Plans libraries. Update includes missing ILS35L added. Also, vectors command inserted in SIDs after departure for ATC routing to first fix in transition instead of from CWK VOR. All STARS turbojet altitude constraints added. All procedures included.Don't be fooled into thinking this is a small regional airport. Not too long ago it was the home of the 12th Air Force and was known as Bergstrom AFB. It offers a 12,000 ft runway for plenty of room for heavy heft.

Hey guys I have a problem. I try putting in the coordinates for the waypoints on the default flightplan but whenever I fly it takes me on a whole different route. I need help,or someone can send their flightplan files to me.;( Thanks Bunches, Christian A. P.S. I am fourteen so go easy on me here.

HiI had to reinstall the PMDG 747, and now it just CTD whenever I select the aircraft. It does not matter where I am when I select it, it just CTD - with the standard windows crash message (do you want to report...).Any adivce here?

I had to re-install FS2004 and now my 737 FMC says that none of my saved flight plans or any airports are there (the dreaded 'Not in Database' message). Do I need to re-install all my PMDG stuff or is there a way round this problem please. Note that Windows Explorer still shows the plans and all my SID/STARS as being available. If I do have to reinstall is there a set way of doing it - I sem to remember a problem after loading the 800/900 aircraft. I have all these on CD so shouldn't be a problem.Many thanks

Hi,Yesterday I did a flight with the B738 from ESSA -> UUEE using the latest AIRAC 0605 and the latest procedure file (SID & STAR) file for UUEE from Navdata but when I typed in UUEE as my destination in the FMC I got an error message (unfortunately I can't remember exactly what it said) and then I noticed when I was about to start planning for the decent and arrival that no runways nor any approaches were available for UUEE. I checked the UUEE SID & STAR file after the flight and the file seemed OK to me.Anyone else noticed this problem?

When do you enter the "Approach Vref" on the "Approach Ref" page of the FMC in the 737NG? I tried doing this on my preflight, but i cant seem to get the LSK to accept any of the choices available. -Adam Harmon

Hi,Are there any other PFC throttle quadrant users? I'm using the 4 engine jet throttles from PFC and have a problem after the last update. (included with the 400F).If I disengage the auto-throttles anytime during the flight, I cannot get it to re-engage. The auto throttle indicates armed after moving the toggle switch, but does not control thrust as the PFC throttles remain active. I was able to get it to re-engage once by disarming the AP and selecting again, but only once. I did remove and re-install the FSUIP dll with new inits etc. Any help would be appreciated. Hi,I am having a problem with the VNAV of the 747 PMDG:When I start climbing ,everything's all right. Then, passing about 1000 feet AGL, I try engaging VNAV but it dosen't and engages:FLCHG OR Speed: 100 and VS:(it depends)I keep clicking on VNAV but it just won't let me !!!!!!!I don't understand, the pages of the FMC are complete ! Perf INIT, Thrust LIM, etc...ThanksThibaud

Hello: Please forgive if this has been discussed in the past but I have not seen a reference in the last couple of pages here.I bought and installed 737 800/900 expansion back in Feb and then got busy and didn't fly for awhile. Before installing the expansion my NG software worked perfectly and I had no problems. Since installing the expansion my FMC does not calculate the following elements correctly: Fuel, ETA's, V speeds, T/D are hundreds of mile off. Has this anomalie been seen before and if so is there a solution? If not any comments or speculations?Any help would be greatfully apprciated.John

Hi PMDG,I am getting low FPS (not above 7FPS) whenever I switch to the 2D view. However, the 2D view w/o the Panel, and the VC view (with VC disabled) is maxing out at 19.7FPS (Locked at 20).Any suggestions?Also, whenever I step the resolution below 1024x768x32, the FPS go up to 10.2, but, the gauges are unreadable.Before (with the same computer), I could get upwards of 15-20FPS even with moderate weather. The 7FPS is with NO wx loaded, and all sliders to the min.Please help me,

Hello,I'm trying to replicate this flight http://flightaware.com/live/flight/AAL2280 and when I try to input the route that is on there, the FMC is saying that VQQ is an 'invalid' entry. also when I try to put the CANUK3 it says that it is not in the database... why is this happening? I have the latest AIRAC as well... (it actually let me input the VQQ fine witht he default AIRAC, but not CANUK3 which is why I updated) now its not letting me put VQQ or CANUK3can anyone help me please?EDIT: I just tried putting VQQ direct and that worked... but it will not do VQQ VIA J81thanks!

For some reason I am not able to program departures or arrivals into Heathrow. When I enter EGLL at Pos Init it works fine, but I do not get any runway, sids or trans information.Yesterday I enter a manual flightplan into the FMC from Charles de Gaulle to Heathrow. No problems with departing runway info at CDG. but I flew using the FMC until BIG, from there it was manual.I went to the DEP/ARR page and press the button to the right of EGLL destination airport I get no runway or sid information.Has anybody experienced this problem before?
