I am having trouble finding a flightplan (real world) to fly over the caps VHHH-KORD in the 744. My usual source (flightaware.com) just gives an "n/a" and you cant see any of the flight (too long probably). So if anyone has a plan made up I could have or knows where I can get one I would appreciate it :] Thanks! Trace

When filing my flight plan in the 747 FMC, I'm asked for the "company route" for whatever liberie I'm flying. Does anyone know where I find this? Thanks in advance

Hey everyone!Please excuse if this has been discussed earlier. But today I experienced a "new" Problem for my PMDG 73NG.I simply can NOT track a Heading using the HDG Selector. When its tuned ON the Plane keeps the current Heading. When i try to manipulate to some other course it does nothing. it just keeps flying the current course.And since this happened i cannot capture any ILS approach.It just keeps flying an interception heading, cross the "approach centerline" and goes off to somewhere else.The Glideslope works normal.Can please someone healp me out?RegardsThomas

Hi People,Do u know any other side than "rout finder" for transatlantic routs cause the route finder page sucks. It always gives you the same route thorugh Rekyavik - which sucks cause if you flying to the east coast of the US you mostly fly way more south - only when you go west bound (Denver, SFO, LAX) you would aim that north.Marek

I liked the previous ones a LOT and would be extremely happy if the landing procedure lesson would be puplished. I really appreciated the work of 1-3, because I want to fly REALISTICALLY!!! Where do I get the actual engine fuel flow enroute? Is it in the FMC, or am I missing it on the EICAS somewhere? Thanks!

I have heard tell that compressing one's FS folder may result in an improvement in performance.Can I please get an indication of how successful this technique is? I currently get adequate-but-not-quite-fluid FPS in the 744 VC and would like to get any improvement possible. Cheers!

I just downloaded the FS2 Crew and installed it. It loaded fine when I did it the first time. I unlocked the menu windows and moved them over to my other monitor. There was a larg block of black blinking area in my upper left window of my panel, so I restarted my FS. Now it crashes when I load my 737-700 to 900 planes. I uninstalled FS2 Crew, but my NGs are still crashing. Now I may be faced with a premium purchase to get the extended download service to get my NGs re-installed.I am very upset about this, has anyone else experienced this?

Has anyone else noticed occasionally when saving a flight or resuming one the speed of the aircraft slow down so much the plane actually stalls. Does anyone know what may be causing this problem?I've lost a flight like this because i resumed a flight and walked away and the plane stalled and crashed, vnav and lnav was enabled when flight was saved.Can't figure this one out, is it related to weather or the save function or VNAV not working when resuming a flight?????Thanks, any feedback

I was reading that one post about the BA 747 that lost its No.2 engine one take off. This got me wondering what type of failures anyone has had with their PMDG aircraft. Also, was it a random failure or did you set a specific system to fail at a certain time.For me, my first failure was during a flight from London to Torino in the 747. I was on short final when my No.3 engine flamed out. I had to maually restart right before touchdown.The second one happened during a non-stop flight from Honolulu to London. I ended up loosing my No.1 and 4 engine during take off after V1. Thankfully they restarted and I continued on to London without any problem.The landing in Torin…

Does anyone use a Track IR4 with their 747-400?, I'm thinking about buying the IR4 and would be grateful for any comments on its benefits particularly in relation to its usability of the overhead panel in the virtual cockpit, which I find very difficult at the moment and unrealistic.Thank youAlan Chadwick, Wales

Hello I was in the middle of a flight from Seattle to Newark with the 744 when I got a print of type rating lesson 3. I was cruising on FL370 and reading the print, so I tried to introduce a stall at that altitude: I was in full auto-flight regime, i.e. AP, LNAV, VNAV and A/T. Now I speed-intervened on the MCP and reduced speed to around 230 kts. Thrust was reduced automatically and I got a stall warning a few seconds later. Here's what I did and what happened: I disconnected the Autopilot, left on A/T and hit TOGA on the MCP helpbutton. TOGA didn't seem to work. The upper EICAS still showed CRZ. IAS fell down to around 210 kts, stalling heavily. Then I disconnected A/T, …

I really do love your great airline with the RR engines.Just landed at ekch Rwy 22L - took off from the taxiway - turned arround - tried to land at 22L again - to much drift then landed at 22R and made an enginestrike. But it was fun - don't call me crazy - listen to all the warnings. Hi GuysI have owned PMDG 737-700 for a while, but recently started flying the Braathens model with airstairs.Using the suggested key commands for Retract/Extend visor in assignments, I only manage to deploy the airstairs. Using the retract command CTRL+F9, the airstairs do not retract.Not vitally important to the flying sensation, except rebooting FS, any help would be grateful.Thanks in advance.Stuart Sutton-Young

Hi. When I load the PMDG 747-400, everything seems fine. I begin to programme the FMC. After one minute however, all the screens go black, and are unrecoverable. I have downloaded and installed the latest PMDG update 1.10, and still no luck. Please could anyone advise me on the problem here, if anyone has the same issue, and any tips or ideas on how to fix this would be appreciated.My computer specs are as follows..Pentium 4, 3.10GhzATI Radeon X800GT Graphics card (could be the problem!!)Thanks,Ben

I hadn't really noticed it until a few days ago when I was during a replay of my touchdown. From the picture below there are no textures below the spoilers closest to the fuesalage. Does anyone know of a way to use the buttons on the ch yoke USB?i have tried the sujestions in the lesson 1 start up using the pmdg menu but they still dont work ,everything else works fine .I would like to use auto throttle & auto pilot diss + toga. Anyone out there can help thanks
