    I am interested to buy 737NG but I also own Queen.Do I have to uninstall it first and then install 737?And is PMDG version of 737 best or any other suggestions?ThanksJarkko

    Hi,looking through the manuals and the differences etc from pax to cargo, is the BOW meant to be the same for both planes? surely they are different?I was getting a bit fed up on trying to fly the bird as NO WHERE can i find anything to help me properly submit correct fuel data etc via a plan builder like fsbuild etc, (there is no 744f airfile for that).So everytime I go and think ill fly a nice long haul today I end up not getting anywhere because I dont really want to go through the written out fuel calculations each time.. (note asking about BOW earlier)..aometimes I dont have the time to concentrate for that anyhow, general life interuptions etc at ones home..So may I…

    Hello all. i just purchased a pmdg 747, and have been saving for weeks. I am having problems with increasing altitude limits and all that happens is that when i click on it the altitude goes down, and apu switch only goes off. the guages stay on butt i was only checking out for out the jet for a few mins i dunno if it would go off or what. This is not an illegal copy i promise.     I am using PMDG NG600/700/800&900 plus FS2Crew plus FSNav. On loading the 700 Easyjet, I found I could lower the airstairs using the recommended CTRL + F10, but could not raise them using CTRL+F9. No matter how many times I tried re-assigning the assignments, it would not raise the stairs. Eventually I re-assigned the raise to CTRL+SHIFT+F10 and it worked. Am I right in assuming that as FSNav uses F9 to enable itself, that rules out F9 plus any combination for any other use?Now to another problem, I am forever forgetting to enable the Keyboard in the FMC and as most of my flights originate in the UK, I keep pressing "E" as a start for origin airport.Despite Microsofts…

  5. Hello,I was trying to load the saved flights from the type-rating 1 or 2 courses and then load the panel state. Even after starting the engines and all systems normal, my rudder is literally turned all the way to the right and I cannot correct it. I can MOVE the rudder with my CH flight pedals or the rudder trim on the yoke but it will not remain centered so the plane is basically constantly turning.If I load the PMDG 747-400 (pax edition) from the create a flight screen and then load my cold&dark saved panel config, all is well so the problem occurs only with the Type Rating Courses.My default flight is the MS default Cessna without any modifications.What could be …

    Following Robert Randazzo's reply to perceived cockpit sounds, I agree with PMDG's decision to add clicking noises, adding the illusion of tactile movement in a simulator; and indeed one cannot infer that sounds are inaccurate simply because of repeated DVD viewing/analysing.Fantastic sounds nontheless. One hopes that engine start-up spooling sounds can once again be heard (during EGT indication). As of now, those sounds are inaudible completely. I've re-installed v.1.01 without success. Captain Randazzo mentioned one paper "autothrottle care and feeding" from the documents library. I cannot find it even if I try very hard.     HelloI'm doing lesson 2 of the type rating with Rejected Take-offs. No matter what I do, I cannot get RTO to work. There have been two similar posts before, but these didn't help me either. I use a Saitek Cyborg Stick and the CH Pro Pedals. I switch on RTO and have the RTO message on the upper EICAS. I pull back the thrust lever of my joystick to idle at around 120 kts and switch off A/T by the mouse. The plane hardly gets slower. Only after reversers are on it slows down gradually. But I have to brake manually to stop before the threshold. I try this with both the Throttle Override option in the PMDG Menues aktiveted and deactivated. This is a little frustrating and your…

    after major confusion with my autobrake not releasing upon landing (despite yellow eicas msg) I found MY custom saved C&D panel state was to blame somehow.So I deleted it and now just use the supplied c&d with no issues.I notice now however that when I load the Queen the INITIAL state has engines running - no big deal but why is that? And after flying lesson PMDG 744 TRC Lesson 2 Part 3_D - the heavy takeoff with engine failure prior to V1 call out, I've tried to continue the flight.     Just had something interesting happen on me . . . was departing EGLL on a BPK5J departure from runway 09R . . . I had turned the TCAS on because I was flying using the Flight1 Ultimate Traffic package which generates real-world traffic, which means EGLL is VERY busy, but FS doesn't fly the proper SID/STARs on AI planes, so you have to keep your wits about. As I initiated the TOGA and began rolling, the TCAS called a traffic alert on a plane that had been told to go around on rwy 09L (I was taking off from 09R) . . . after two warnings I can only assume the FD exectured an RTO procedure which closed the throttles and slammed on the brakes . . .Firstly can I assume this was…

    Hi all in the forum.Thought I would share this, as it is the first time it has happened to me. I usually have no problem with ils capture, and I always check the Ils frequency and heading in the fmc against a second source, and if they agree then I never seem to have problems. Yesterday I flew the 737-600 from Luton (EGGW) to Inverness (EGPE). I looked on fsnav and there is no ils shown for its runway 6. I downloaded the airport charts for Inverness and it show an ils for its runway 5. so that data did not agree. As I got close to inverness the fmc showed the correct frequency for the ils and course as published on the airport chart. It never showed on the PFD and then of…

    Hi there,Just new to the forum and was wondering if you could help me with a quick query.I own the 737-600/700 package, running on MSFS2002 and have noticed that the only time the autothrottle engages is when I begin a flight and don't tamper with anything! When I attempt to restart any flight using the 'Ctrl ;' command or turn off the engines the autothrottle refuses to engage and the autothrotrottle disenage light flashes.I was wondering if I am doing something wrong or if anyone else has had this problem?Many Thanks

    Im having trouble with the 744 after i take off the plane just goes to 7000vs and i have no ap control of the vertical speed just keeps climbing and i cant bring it down unless i do it manually with the yoke.Is there a setting in the options ive missed or a fsuipc setting i need to make?? Also sometimes it wont follow the heading direction with ap engaged. If any one has any ideas id be gratefull thx. ive uninstalled and reinstalled many times its also climbs past the set altitude i know i must have something set wrong but i dont know what it is

    Hello there!!I bought the extraordinary pmdg747 and I m fully satisfied!!However I encounter a little problem while landing... :(I want to land with the autothrottle on, but the autopilot off(no autoland/ i want to control the airplane). So I perform the approach and at prox. 1000f AGL I push the A/P Disengage bar and fly the plane.At 50f the throttles are not automatically se t to idle and I hover over the rwy, and must therefore disarm the A/T, set the throttles manually to idle and by then I have flown all over the rwy!!:-rollWhat´s the secret!!!???I´m looking forward to ANY help...Thanks y_stassin2

    Hi,I currently fly PMDG 737NG out of Heathrow EGLL.I currently have airport chart and also use FS Navigator 4.7I recently upgraded my PMDG FMC using the Airacs that PMDG website links to, and since I did that the FMC doesnt seem to have any entries for Heathrow anymore, I get "Runway not in Database" errors and also there are no Departures or Arrivals either, all other airports seem to be fine, has anyone come across this before?Also I need to know where I can get copies of the EGLL Departure and Arrivals Plates? I want charts for e.g. for Compton and Wobun Departures but cant seem to find them anywhere. The US airports are extremely easy to get IAP plates for but the Eur…
