Ive have read the manual 10 time now on the FMC but when in the vnav part on the FMC i put in the stuff ect and when i am taking off i hit the vnav and i have a FMC message saying something like perf/vnav no crg altitude. well someone close to that. I am not sure what ime missing so could anyone point me in the right direction please?Thanks for all replies

Hi guys,I am flying the Queen with great enthusiasm and it is really a wonderful aircraft. But for short distances I sometimes would like to fly a smaller plane however with similar features. I am toying with the idea of buying the Beech 1900. Do you know whether there are also problems with installation order?? I do not want to delete and reinstall my 747-400 and freighter before I can install the Beech. For the 737 that is necessary as far as I know.Thanks in advance!!Fabian

I just started using the 744 and its F edition after a computer issue leading to an XP reinstall. Anyway I was just wondering if anyone had any tweaks to get some more FPS out of a system. The annoying part is that I think I had better FPS before the reinstall.Thanks,Jeff

Hi,The NAV database is missing runway and SID data for PANC. Has anyone located up to date data or created it?This is required for the 400F.Thanks

Just a little question: I am right now in a cruise and for some reason (I dont have FS open in front all the time), at one moment A/T wasn't holding the speed any more. I have had all the right annunciations (SPD/LNAV/VNAV PTH) throughout the cruise, but for some reason, this moment I came back to check things, speed was too high, so I had to reset A/T switch and press VNAV again. Why did this happen?

Hi All,Need help here - each time I land the 744 my autobrake will not disarm but brings me to complete stop on the runway. Now I understand that's what it's supposed to do, but the docs also say advancing throttles or manual braking is supposed to disarm autobraking - this does not happen for me.Even manually moving the autobrake switch to 'disarm' does not help, still no release until full stop. My girlfriend soon to be wife purchased my original 737NG from you guys in Oct, Nov 2005. I loved that plane so she also bought the 737NG 800 and 900 update pack from you for X-mas. Hi,I have the 737NG installed (all configs from 600 to 900) and since recently, whatever fuel quantity I load in the plane, fuel will remain at zero on the MFD and in the FMC. My config is FS 9.0 (French - unpatched) and used to run perfectly for a long time. Some time ago, I moved this FS9.0 from its location to another directory in "Program Files" and installed FS9.1 (English, patched) in Program Files/Microsoft Games/ and this runs perfectly. Just to be sure, I uninstalled 737NG from my FS9.0 directory (using the PMDG uninstall tool) and then re-installed in the same place. Hi All,Assigning keyboard shortcut keys, through the PMDG keyboard meny, which recommends using the Alt key, the after programming more 30 keys, found that they are all mixed up with the menu commands because of the alt combination, even ctrl and alt !!Is there any way to disable the alt key calling menu functions inside FS, or any other option that will help to call the PMDG keys without conflicting with old MSFS, eg. Ctrl-1234 (A number, or any way extending the keyboard .... etc)Thanks in advance

Hi all,I was hoping somebody could offer some help with this. Please note, I do not believe this is anything to do with a PMDG product.Basically, my FS2004 is no longer usable. No matter what aircraft I use, FS2004 crashes out at some point. And it happens in the following way:Firstly, the grey options bar where you select "aircraft" etc begins to flicker. Eventually is disappears leaving a black line at the bottom of the screen. At this point FS2004 is still running. For example, when this occurs and in flight the plane will continue to fly. Hi Gian,The 'what's coming from PMDG' post at the top of the forum basically constitutes a full-time development schedule for the next year. Given the amount of 'Man' hours each product will entail, I highly doubt the 777 will fit in there for now.Besides which even a PMDG quality 777 is going to stuggle against the number of competing products. It's largely about who gets to market first in this game!I agree though that no-one has really delivered on the 777 yet. Some have come close but not close enough for my tastes.Me personally? I'm going to go over to the airbus in a year or so. :-)

All,Got a aft cargo fire little while ago in the 744F. The aft cargo fire bottle armed, and the plastic guard comes off the discharge button. But when the button is pushed, the bottle doesn't discharge. Known bug or "feature?"Thx

hi all,i have the 737NG, plus the paint kit, so, does anyone know when after i've painted each aircraft part such as the left and right fuslage and engines into one file, then make them into a livery so i can find it on my 737 livery menu in the main FS9 aircraft selection? Hi, lately I have started to notice, increasingly, that after flying for a while at high altituted, a rattling sound appears and I start to loose flight speed and altitude. What is happening and how do I avoid it please? (I know the rattling is part of the aircraft but how do I prevent it)CheersPaul

Hi GuysAfter flying the 747 for many months, I have just purchased the 737-800/900 from Aerosoft. I look forward to flying it (hopefully I can cram three different airliners into my head!) After having been spoilt by the fantastic TOPCAT for the 747-400, is there anything similar (I know of Tomaflex) to TOPCAT for the 737NG? Or any charts/tables you guys use? I have done a pretty thorough search but didn't turn up all too much (successful anyway).Thanks for any help or ideasRudy.

I've just bought the 747-400 having had fun with the 737NG for a while, and have installed it OK, then updated the navdata from NAVDATA.AT and the SID/STARs from planepath but when I program a route (say EGLL-KEWR) I get no SID/STARs in the FMC!!!? They are all there in PMDG/SIDSTAR but the FMC doesn't load them . . . am I missing something obvious?
