    Sorry . . . another possibly dumb question . . . I have also posted this question in the IVAO forums. I have the 737NG and 747-400 models, which I often fly on the IVAO network, however I was wondering whether anyone has got the IVAO TCAS system to integrate with the PMDG one, I'm not sure whether IVAO uses the FSUIPC TCAS interface or not as it doesn't seem to work . . . has anyone succeeded?

    Hello,I must say the 744 is beautiful!I have some questions regarding the features of the PMDG 744:1. I set a key command to open the emergency exits on the upper deck, but when I type in the command, the doors will not open. How do I get them to open?2. Is it possible for the plane to depressurize?3. Is it possible to deploy oxygen masks?4. Does the PMDG 744 have emergency slides?5. Regarding the YAL-1A Airborne Laser - Does the laser work? Does the laser on the nose rotate?THANKS!!

  4. I am en route to Langkawi (again!) in the Queen, at FL250 and IAS 313 (CI=99)in LNAV+VNAV. At 40nm from the ToD, I hit DES NOW having entered an MCP ALT of 15000. The Queen descends promptly in VNAV PTH no more than 1000 vertical feet at the FMC mandated descent speed of IAS 290 and then levels off at FL240. Speed then falls to IAS 280...then 270...then N1 kicks in to accelerate me back to IAS 290, but no further descent occurs. The speed bleeds off again down to 280...and 270 and the cycle recurs. No descent at all.What am I doing wrong? I wondered if I should be in VNAV SPD rather than VNAV PTH but can't figure out how to change. I don't really know what I am doi…

    Hi Everyone,this has probably been asked a number of times but I can't find anything doing a search.In the manual in section 8 it gives a helpful hint to download and install the 767PIC/PMDG All-in-One-installer.I have gone to the PMDG site and cannot locate it. Can anyone give me a heads up as to whether this is required or where I can download the file from?Also, does anyone know if there's a problem at www.navdata.at?ThanksWayneNo need to answer this.     Hi!I've been waiting for the MD-11 for quite a while now, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. I don't want to nag and whine about it not being available yet, I'm sure there are plenty of good reasons for that, but I would appreciate it if anyone from PMDG would give us a progress report. A few new screenshots would be nice too ;). The screenshots on the MD-11 page at PMDG are well over a year old now. So pretty pretty please, with sugar and everything else that's sweet in this world on top, could we get an update?

    Ok a question for those with more 744 knowledge than myself.Is FLCH the same on the 744 as the 76??Reason why i ask is at the moment with the queen if i use FLCH and increase the speed by more than around 15kts instead of the aircrfat pitching down and increasing the ROD to pick up the new speed the thrust is coming up as well.IN FLCH on the 76 FLCH engages thrust hold at idle and pitches down to increase the speed.This is an integral part of energy management when operating into airports with steep CTA steps.IE rolling the speed back then using FLCH to effectively dive the aircrfat to a lower level with a far higher ROD than if you maintained a steady say 250kts.At the m…

    Sam,Or any knowlegable person please voice in. We all know about the BA flight from LAX to LHR that had an engine failure right after take off and decided to continue to LHR. We also know that the captain had to divert to Manchester beacuse they were not properly trained on "how to configure properly engine to tank cross-feed" fuel with one engine out.     The Fuel Used counter in FMC (on progress page) has been restarted to count fuel using after touchdown... I remember, before the 400F service pack, it was remained in normal, so after parking i was able to write down the total fuel used information.Has anybody know the reason!?thx: zsolt baumann from hungary

    Posted this topic earlier but can't find it so sorry if you've already replied!I cand work out how to get the cross feed working. I have turned on the cross feed switch so it lights up blue but i still get a fuel warning when the center tank is near empty.Where am i going wrong?

    Been having a hard time aligning the IRS's when I start from a C&D cockpit setup. Its align when the sim starts with the engines running, but as soon as I go to the C & D cockpit it will not. I set the alignment time to instant, or real I just see 7 min and nothing happens. C an someone share some light on what I'm doing wrong. Thanks..Joe

    I've added KTUS Tuscon Intl to the NavData and AVSIM Flight Plans libraries. The missing TUS6 SID is added, and all approaches (ILS,BC,RNAV) have minor edits to comply with cycle 0605 charts.I have reviewed all the SIDSTAR updates I've provided and verified cycle 0605 currency. The complete list is:KSJC, KLAX, KLAS, KPHL, KHOU, KDAL, KMDW, KPHX, KMCO (w/rwy 17L/35R), KBWI, KSAN, KSAL, KSTL (w/rwy 11/29) and KTUS.I'm working through the list of SWA destinations (I love the 737-700), let me know if there are any requests.     I've uploaded SIDSTARS and AF2 files to AVSIM-FS2004 Flight Plans and the NavData libraries. These will add a very simple scenery consisting of new runway (opened Apr2006) and navaids with approaches based on current Cycle 0605 info. I also added an LDA approach missing from the DAFIF data Terry uses, and put the default MSFS LDA transmitter in the correct spot. For all who are using any of my previous dozen SIDSTAR updates: All are still current for Cycle 0605. My KSTL scenery is the minimum essential; anyone who wishes to add their expertise by making improvements is most welcomed.

    hi all,yes, i know, i have created so many topics for liitle problems, but what else can i do.Again, i have 747 queen of the skies, and someone has told me to turn to page 16 on the ND, but it's not helped me, even though that person tried his best. Thanks that person.When the 747 loads on FS9, the altimeter is set incorrectly. So i simply set the back-up altimeter to 0 feet, but the altimeter that is beside the computer-ised artificial horizon doesn't move. (normally says 400 feet). I have to rely on the back-up altimeter. Does anyone here know how to set the Primary flight display altimeter correctly?Apologies for the multiple topics,robbie

    I just got the 747/F and I wanna say how great this is! I thought falcon 4 was confusing!but here is my question... upgrading from the default 747 i'm very confused about the autopilot system in this plane... say I wanna go from Miami to Istanbul... in the default plane I just make a direct GPS and it takes me there... in the plane there is that lil switch that I click over to GPS and then press NAV on the autopilot and thats it... obviously in the PMDG this is much much more complicated...     Folks,I'm curious to see some feedback from real world 737NG pilots on how the aircraft feels compared with the simulated one from PMDG.For example, on rotation and climb out at say V2, if the pilot lets go of the yoke, how much pitch down occurs? I'm curious if the yoke stays more or less in place or if it immediately creates a pitch down situation like my CH yoke does. I'm trying to get my yoke sorted out, and have no idea what the controls in a real 737 do with regards to banking, climbing, etc...Any feedback is appreciated!
