Hi,since i don't have any knowledge on how in the real 737-800 or any aircraft, all weight was calculated, example how to get(in pre flight) ZFW, Pax and cargo weight, fuel weight and overall TOW, also V speed (V1, Vr, V2 ) since all this in flight sim we can use auto calculate or atleast we put some figure, that we know the value. in flight sim also we can use Tomaflex to calculate V speed.So, how this calculate in real word.RegardsShaheedan

I've been helping a customer get up to speed with the paintkit and he's just finished his first repaint for our 737-800. He's having a bit of trouble registering on the forums rignt. While he's figuring out what the problem is, he's asked that I post a few screenshots of his livery. Could some one kindly advise me how to ensure the downloaded lessons for the 747TRC 1 /2/3 should be loaded. I downloaded lesson 1 and it appears as expected in the PMDG choose a flight dialogue box. I downloaded flight lessons TRC 2&3 unzipped to my main FS9 directory as instructed. Finished lesson 1.Go to look for lesson 2 to load. Cant find lesson 2 or 3 anywhere. Any help will be greatly appreciated, as I am burning an awful lot of fuel but not getting airborne. My wife only gives me $10.00 a flight for fuel. HELP!ajb380.

I hope someone can help with this one. Upon landing the 747-400 and just p[rior to taxi to the gate I'll disengage the AP and immediately get the (obnoxious) alarm. Once this happens I find it's impossible to re-engage the AP in order to shut the alram off. So,what am I doing wrong? How can I disengage the AP manually or is itautomatic? Any help would be apprecate

Hi,I would like to draw the attention of PMDG developers on the following behaviour of the Queen. I am not pointing out it as an issue, but I would like if possible an explanation.I have a high end PC (AMD 4800+, ATI X1900XTX, 2 Gb RAM, ecc..), and I usually fly in VC. I have the indication of FPS enabled, and what I notice is a cyclic oscillation of FPS from 30-40 to 15. This must not be confused with the typical FS9 fluctuations of FPS. What I am describing is a standard solid rate of say 35 FPS suddenly dropping to 15, without any evident reason (no scenery change, no weather change, no ATC communication), remaining to 15 -16 FPS for a few seconds and then returning to…

Hello, Has anyone tried the Queen with Aerosoft's mcp747 yet? I downloaded the zip from misc files at PMDG and installed as instructed. No joy for me yet. I'm running the mcp's software on the 2nd PC via widefs.Thanks.

Tried to assign keys for the 747F. The only door that would open was the front passenger door. Are there special keys that are assigned?Any help will be appreciated.Bonniew

Hello all, As you all probably know, on FS2004 the flight-tips box says to correct the altitude press B. Well I haven't assigned B to any function on the 747 but when I push B a clicking sound is heard. How do I correct My Altitude? All help is welcome.

Hello everybody, I bought the 737Ng about a week ago, on a flight last night I noticed, while taxing that the front wheel was pointing a bit to the right although the aircraft was moving on a perfect straight line. I was flying the -600 series so I checked the other models as well and same thing occured. I had prepared the flight with real world weather so I thought that there might be some crosswind but no, same thing occured even with all weather cleared. I searched the forum but I could not find anything, I know that is tiny little detail but it would be interesting to know if someone else has noticed or if something is wrong with my setup. Hello Ladies & Gentlemen,Have been flying 'The Queen' since she came out in the boxed format with very little in the way of issues that seem to be reported by many pilots on a regular basis.Untill the other day... after re-calibrating by Ch Pro Pedals using the FSUIPC Interface, the next time I landed(Autobrake 2 & 249500Kgs LWt) there seemed to be little or no response from the Autobrakes. Now that I am back to rudder pedals and yoke, I can fly the 744 more realistically. But I am still having some difficulty on touchdown and rollout in strong x-winds. I just landed in a 21k x-wind from 90 deg to my left with fairly hefty turbulence and although the TD went very well, the rest of the landing was only so-so. I kicked the rudder right as the mains came within 10 to 20 feet of the ground during the flare but the a/c veered slightly right away from the centerline and I tried to correct by applying left aileron. I am considering buying the PMDG 744. I already own the PMDG 737NG and 800/900. My computer handles those fine. Someone told me, though, that the 744 is very hard on framerates. My computer is a Pentium IV 2.66 GHZ speed, with 512MB RAM and 64MB video card. I use FS9 real world weather and fly online, so no AI aircraft. Anyone have any experience with this type of setup and how it handles the 744? My other option is the RFP 742, but I would prefer PMDG if my computer can handle it. Anyone?

Hi Everyone!An irritating problem. Hve both PMDG 737-800/900 and 747-400 'Queen of the Skies Programs' installed. Everything runs great except for two sound occurancesWhen ATC is active, I get an electronic 'thudding or interfrence' type of sound, which changes in pitch when the different ATC voices generate.Secondly, similar 'interference/thudding sounds' come on when I put the 747-400 in 'Reverse Thrust' mode. No!! It is not flaps configurations warnings!!Have a new Dell XPS 400. 3.0 Gig speed, 1 Gig ram, N-Vidia 7800 video card, Smaltec sound drivers (all updated) for the sound system Dell provided witht the new system.Any help, thanks!
