Sometimes... When I do a pushback.. it keeps reversing and going on and on and it just doesn't stop. It only happens sometimes.I use something like 2 and L90When I start clean.. usually there is no problem. But if I make 1 trip and then shut it down and then restart from my first destination for my second trip. I have had this problem.I ran into this twice.Is it soemthing that I am doing?BTW.. if I start the engines and push the throttle forward or applying brakes etc does not help.Manny

I was wondering if anyone has thought of doing a fictional LAN Cargo repaint of the 400F? Ive been trying for a while but I just dont think its in my blood to be an aircraft painter. If nobody has done one, was wondering if someone out there would be so kind to give it a whirl. Thanks!BrianCYOW

Last week, I flew VS020 (Virgin) KSFO-EGLL in real time. I started the flight late into the night so that I would be on-hand to land the next morning.My initial cruise was FL310 based on my weight. Before I started my descent, my optimum cruise was FL380.Had I stayed awake during the entire flight, what is the proper procedure for slowly stepping up from the inital cruise to the final optimum cruise? Do I just monitor the FMC, and make the change at every 1000 foot intervals, or do I program the steps into the FMC ahead of time, and let VNAV do it?This is the longest flight I have made so far, so this procedure is new to me.Thanks,John

Is it possible to turn on the cockpit interior lightning, though it's pretty sunny outside? sometimes the available light isn't that good and I'd really love to have more contrasts inside. or is that again a problem of the msfs?thx@lex

I just built a new computer and want it to run FS relatively smooth but also want a realistic environment. How much AI traffic would you guys reccomend? Which airlines are good? Would anyone reccomend any weather add-ons. Hello, I was trying to fly Timothy Metzinger's V2 tutorial 1 in the 737-700 today. Anyways, at one point he says to select "APP" mode for the ND on the EFIS. I have the ILS for the airport tuned in the radio panel, but when I turn the dial to "APP", I get an error on the ND: EFIS/Nav Freq Error, it says. Does anyone know why this is?Also, could someone possibly briefly explain what ADF is? The tutorial calls for you to turn on ADF, which is a little arrow that appears on the ND but I have no idea what it is or how it works.Thanks a lot in advance for any help! Paul.

Hey!Everytime I descent enroute (Due to traffic or so...) using VNAV, the DES page activates and the CRZ-Page will never show up again for the rest of the flight...even if there are 2000 NMs to go...So...is it possible to get the CRZ Page back during flight??Need help!!RegardsThomas

Since I installed the 747 400F my spot plane no longer works coorectly. It used to sit outside the plane and I could use the hat switch to move up/down and around. But no longer does it work. It ows acts partially like a tower veiw and partially like a fly by view. If I turn it on whist on the ground the whole displays shakes all over the place.Any seen this and know how to get it back working?

Ive had this problem for quite sometime and havent found a solution.First after a few hours or minutes flying the PMDG 744 while in the window view of FS, the toolbar at the top would disappear and only a few tabs would show. However the aircraft is still operational but when I press the tabs they dont work or when I press ESC it makes the screen flash and then nothing happens. Then after awhile the screen would go black and then it would crash etc ya da darr task manager...... If your goin to ask to update the drivers, they are all updated and my computer is fairly new and has no viruses or spyware on it i hope. The leveld 767 works fine on it on my computer. I think its…

Im having an issue with the autopilot following the flight plan. It flys to the first waypoint but instead of heading in the direction of the next waypoint it'll just keep flying in the same direction or immediently turn around and circle the pervious waypoint. Can someone help me out here?Thanks

Periodically, and only in the 737, I'll run into a situation where all comms will be broken- can't tune radios, can't hear ATC, but I get the menus normally. It does not always happen, but enough times now that I'm irked :)Any ideas?I can't beleive how fun the Boenigs are after all this time. HAndflying approaches is a blast, and fairly easy these days. Even my first landing in the Whale was a good one!NOw I still have issues with taxying the 744. Too much speed scrubbs off in turns. not enough inertia, I think.

Hello!I want to know how to reduce to the Flaps maneuvering speed during a VNAV descent. This is an example:The aircraft is at F350 and has just reached the T/D point, so the aircraft is descending with VNAV mode. Now, we are reaching 4000 feet and we are approaching to the IAF (Initial approach Fix), so I want to reduce the speed in order to extend Flaps. Until now, the aircraft continues descending with VNAV mode to reach the IAF according with the FMC profile... But, How to reduce the speed?, which is the correct way to do it? and What happen with the next altitude constraint based on the FMC?Thanx in advance!!Santiago:)

Maybe this was asked before, but I didn't find it with search.For my 744 flights I always use Active Sky 6 and before descent I enter the wind forecast into the FMC. But what I always wanted to know: how do I do this correctly? Which way points do I need to concider?Because I was lazy most of the times, I just entered the FL240, FL180, FL12 and 9000 Winds of the DEST AP. Do I have to consider the descent as calculated by the FMC? Or is there any other useful hint ow to do this?Thanks!@lexPS.
