    On the NG, when the ground power light is on and I flick the ground power switch to "on", is it supposed to flick straight back to off again even though ground power has been enabled? What I mean is, is it true to say that when it is on, the switch doesn't actually REMAIN in the "on" position?If this is the case, how do I turn off ground power when I am ready to start the APU? Seeing as it the ground power switch always pointed to "off" anyways, do I just flick it to "on" and let it go back to off again to turn it off? I bought the Cargo 'F' version yesterday after months of teetering on the brink of buying and wondering whether I would be really using it instead of the Pax version.After getting 'Dillon's expert reccomendation also, I did and all I can say is "I really should have got it before.It's awesome and much better than the pax version.     Here is an interesting question for ya...Obviously I prefer the inside and flight dynamics of the PMDG but I think the POSKY wins on the outside with all of its details like engine startup smoke and wing views/flex.     Hi all,I have been very keen to purchase the Queen of the Skies since it first came out but am just not too happy with the convoluted verification process and limited number of times it can be re-installed. As a result I am looking at getting the boxed version here in the UK.     Dear All, Recently when I fly the PMDG744, i discovered the VNAV will descend rapidly at T/D at an V/S of 5000-6000ftpm. The descend path was also unstable. I once installed the PMDG737 wrongly after the PMDG744, and now my computer only have PMDG744 & 744F. Would anyone help me if it's my FMC setting's problem or it's the plane's problem? Would it be the FS passengers add-on that afftect the aircraft? Thank you.

    I have just purchased PMDG 747 and need help with 2 issues please:1) I get a repetitive warning that states:"Your Fuel level is critically low in the selected tank. Automatic refueling is available now. To complete this action, Press: Control X".2) After departure when I want to switch on "LNAV" mode I go to the FMC and double click on my first waypoint at LSK1. In most FMC's this will automatically draw a line off the nose of the aircraft to the first waypoint in the flight plan. Instead this FMC just keeps refreshing the leg from my initial departure airport, NOT from my present position. To join it I have to manually fly to intercept the course and even then LNAV wont …

    Hello All, I was wondering if anyone else had this problem....When my B747 QOTS is airborne my FS9 hesitatesa(pauses) evey 2 mins for about 12 seconds.On the ground there is no problem. I have resinstalled, changed scenery, aircraft, and wx settings. This does not happen with any other aircraft I have. I have not added on any liveries. I am still at default settings for the B747.     Ok from the first time I've used the PMDG everytime after I line the front nose gear starts pulling to the extreme left or to the extreme right. Once in a million it wont do it and taxing is fine before landing. If anyone knows how I can fix this I would love to hear it cuz it drives me nuts it takes 30 minutes to get to the gate sometimes because your constantly losing speed cuz the plane doesnt steer straight.

    Hey there!Is it possible to edit the default PMDG 73G so that it represents the performance of a BBJ?I'd love to fly those Private Air Long Hauls (FRA-IAH and so...) but with the default performances its not possible...Can i simply edit the Aircraft files?     Hello,I am new to the world of FS2004 (ex FS98 diehard 4845.0 Flight hours). Purchased 767 Level-D, PSS 777, and PMDG 747-400/400F. I have flown 280 hours so far in FS2004 using the PMDG 747-400/400F (money well spent and worth the transition!). Having a big problem mapping the USB Flight Sim Yoke to the program. Have a registered copy of FSUIPC 3.65 as well hoping it would bring me closer in programming buttons 1, 9, and 10. TOGA, Autothrottle Disconnect, and A/P Master, respectively. No luck whatsoever.     Hi, I have the following problem with the CDU of the 747.The FMC calculates automatically the vertical path and also the speed and altitude for each point, but the pilot must be able to make changes in the speed and/or altitude. I am able to input altitude restrictions with the following format:20000 -> upselecting it becomes 20000 ft200 -> upselecting it becomes FL200 (and not 200kn as one can suppose)But if I want to change only the speed for a waypoint it is impossible. I hope someone recognizes this problem that I've had lately.I start up my trusty 737-700, load a flightplan and do all the rest of the preparations, take off is normal but when I engage roll mode and autopilot the plane tries to turn turtle and dives into the ground ?There are no other programs or add-ons running, I've calibrated my CH flight yoke and rudder pedals in Windows and in FSUIPC but without improving things. I've tried disconnecting the autopilot when it happens but the plane is impossible to control.Did anyone have the same problem ?cheersMartin

    hey there i got a question about the PMDG panel. im having some problems with it. my problem is that when i try to fly the aircraft FS2004 quits by it self. i took the gauges out of the gauges folder in the main fs folder and tried again and it workd. however, the panel did not have gauges showing.     Hi.Hope this dosen't sound a dumb question,but could someone please explain what the difference between TAS and GS are.I believe its is something to do with the wind effecting the speed of the aircraft,and is the speed on the Navigation Display shown in Knots or MPH.Also another question.On the PROGRESS page of the FMC the DISTANCE To Go to your destination, is this shown in Nautical Miles or Statute miles.Any help much aprreciated.Tony

    Anyone has a data for this flight?Now that i have a descent KLAX scenery from Cloud9 and a nice Melbourne payware...it's time to simulate this flight in real time.I got my flighplan from Flight Aware from the last QF94 flight.My 382,000lbs. fuel load might not be enough for the 7,112nm journey.Considering the weather, SC and long range cruise factors.Is Qantas flying the 744ER on the KLAX and YMML and if anyone has any real data for this one.
