Hi there guys, I was wondering if there was any good DXT3 paint of the China Airlines B744? I am asking this because the default repaint that is available on the website is very blurry. I do not have that problem with most of the other repaints? How about that controversial repaint that was put straight back to the hangar as well?Can someone help me?Regards,Alex

Hello, I fly for AVA and my pmdg 737-800 freezes when iam not on the Full view, but when iam in the full view it never has any problems. I need it in the smaller size because of FSacars. Could someone help? It also erases the dropdown bar at the top.

When I use the PMDG 744 load manager, I set the fuel, then go into the FSP, set the passengers and cargo loads. however, my cargo loads are limited to two 15000 lbs in front and rear cargos. I think the 744 can load much more cargo weight than FSP allows, how can I change the cargo loads to make it carry more. Tse,S

Hi there.I just found out that the air speed(IAS) displayed on the PFD of PMDG747 is a little different from the one of MSFS. The one on the PFD is a little faster(about 3-4KT) than the one of MSFS.Anybody know why they are so?Press Shift + Z key on the flight. You can see that.Kind regards,

Just got the 747 and still have a long way to go. I'm stumped already with the FMC, so a little advice would be appreciated. No matter which eng.variant I choose, it ID's it as the GE model. When I go to the POS.page, it gives the position and the "set IRS" message, but there are no boxes underneath to put the position in. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong ?Russell.

Well, it happens often when I fly with the following ASV6 and Fspassegers I recive this massage at the end:"Exceeding aircraft maximum speed is dengerous"I fly normally LNAV VNAV and till reaching flight level all seems normally, then I reicve a gust of wind which puts the a/c at exceeding speed.How to I remove this ?We does it happens flying the PMDG747 only ? I fly LDS767 and it never happened.Thank you.

Hi guys, I was cruising at FL380 (OPT) and decised to mess about with the fuel pumps to restore a fuel balance within the tanks as I'd missed FUEL TANK/ENG.Although after I'd turned certain pumps off the EICAS fuel schematic showed green lines running to all engines, 1,3 & 4 all flamed out.I steadied the aircraft in a gentle descent in order to maintain airspeed and attempted a re-start.All was successful and once levelled and operating correctly under the automation I then climbed again to FL380 to maintain the cruise.Once I reached the crusing level again I noticed that the upper EICAS dsplayed CLB rather than CRZ?Is this right or is this just a previously unforseen…

Hi folks,My question is as follows:Is the fuel config indication modelled?I did a recent flight with main tanks full and 1300 kg of fuel in the center tank. As per SOP, On taxi take-off, & climb upto 10,000 feet I had turned off the center tank pumps as the fuel quantity was below 2300 kg. This action should have given me a fuel config indication, but it was not so.Can anybody tell me if this is simulated.Thanks,Dinshaw.

I have a some questions on the PMDG 747-400 and Freighter regarding the lighting schemes before I make a purchase.Is it possible to please list the avaliable controlable seperate external lights?Are the Taxi lights seperate from the runway turn off lights? (In the PMDG 737NG, the update made these all one)Are the Landing Lights seperate from runway turnoff lights and are the inner and outer landing lights independently selectable?Also, recently there was a post about the wing strobe light behavior. I'm not really interested in the cargo version, but when I read what the cargo version updates, it looks as if it's a patch that fixes some problems with the base version. Is this true? If there are bugs or problems in the base version that require the cargo update, I'm going to hold off for now. Thanks for your input.

i have been getting full rudder deflection to either side after reverser retraction and the a/c slows to less than 35 +/- a few knots(flying the queen w/P&W4062 eng and the UAL old livery). i have tried the "remove my USB joystick" trick, while this is happening, but to no avail. i can recover to center(after removing joystick), but rudders are difficult to turn. they fluctuate very rappidly to the commanded side using the keypad. also i have noticed while this is happening is that i can not return to idle. it stays around 33-35%(with or w/o jot connected. programs while running in MSFS while this occured was active sky. and i have tried not running A/S but it still h…

Might sound like a silly question, but I have bought myself a very snazzy 19" LCD monitor and would like to use my 17" CRT as a 2nd monitor for overhead panels or FMC's or whatever.I've done a search on avsim but can't find anything that tells me how to do this.Any help would be appreciated.Goran
