KCMH KRDU & KSNA Added to NavData and AVSIM FS2004-Flight Plans libraries (Columbus OH, Raleigh-Durham NC & John Wayne Orange Co CA). These procedures were not based on DAFIF translations. I have built them from scratch using FAA NACO digital terminal procedures and data from the FAA LID fix lookup source document. All active DPs STARs & IAPs are provided, including procedure turns where charted. Each file encludes a header with useful information on the DP & STARs to aid in selecting a procedure. All information is based on current cycle (0607 6Jul-2Aug) data.

Hi Captains, the pushback-gauge of the PMDG 747-400 is very nice. Nevertheless the results of a pushback are mostly a little bit unpredictable: where will the Queen stop?[ a href=http://www.vapdesign.com/PMDG744]747-400 Pushback-calculator:[/a]The brandnew 747-400 Pushback-calculator helps you to make precision pushbacks with the Queen to the centerline of a taxi-way. Now being more realistic it makes good sense to use the time, e.g. to start the engines during pushback. You can find the freewaretool here: http://www.vapdesign.com/PMDG744 (free access area!)Check the online-help at the top of the side! Please help to improve it and feel free to report bad-calculations to me…

Twice recently with the 747F I have had a problem where the 4 throttles have not responded as expected after touchdownI use strictly keyboard F1 through F4 to control settingsOn these two ocassions aftr touchdown and deceleration. I have disengaged autopilot and attempted to use throttles to taxi off. However only engine 1 responds to any of the keys, the other three do not repond, obviously a problem. No problmes at anytime prior to this pointI also cannot seem to rectify the problem at the time, just restart.I was happening to be using sqwakbox on both occassionshas anyone else experienced anything like this?Im thinking I may have hit an erraent keystroke but cant imagi…

Hello, im new to the PMDG support forum but have been flying the 737 600-900 for almost a year and recently a problem as surfaced with the autoland function.I perform a normal autoland with all the procedures done, correct altitude, speed, and both NAV radios tuned as well as the REF selected in the CDU. Then, I press APP and the second AP and I get the SINGLE CH message in yellow and for the next minute or two it looks like the plane is following the G/S but 10 miles out the 737 makes a abrupt climb putting the A/C into a stall, this event has also happened in the opposite direction, where the plane dived into the ground. This happens most frequently at the Cloud9 KLAX, b…

Hello,I'm looking for whatever it takes to get buttons 1 (TOGA),9 (Autothrottle disconnect),10 (autopilot disconnect) on the yoke. I can live with everything else. I did a search and found little, and looked at these post #226229 and #219860 with no luck. I really hate moving the mouse around at 150" agl while getting close to the ground and having to dis-engage auto-flight systems. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!Rich

Dear, PMDG teamIm not sure if your aware of this so im sorry if this is old news. But the Alll Nippon liverie found here below seems to have a virus attached to it. http://www.precisionmanuals.com/html/downloads/747.htmAs i was downloading it my virus scanner picked up this thing called sillyLC or something to that effect i didn't pay close attention to it. But i advice you to remove that liverie from your site ASAP before this virus does serious harm to someones computer.P.S I just bought The queen of the skys 747 and i love it! But i do admit im not wild about the engine sounds.

Hello again!!Now, my question is when the ATC clears you to start the descent before the T/D point... For example, "the aircraft is cruising F370 and the ATC clears you to descend and maintain initially F250"...Which procedures do I have to follow, and What happen with the Vertical deviation displayed on the NAV Display, How to reestart our descent with the FMC parametes when the ATC crears you to continue you descent as filed...Thank you in advanced!Santiago:)

I have installed the Cloud 9 EHAM scenery and get errors anytime I enter EHAM as the destination in the PMDG737 FMC I get an error (Unknown kag) This is before I load a plan. Just entering EHAM causes the error. If I proceed with the flight, I can not engage VNAV. I get an FMC Alarm (Unable CRZ ALT). I have tried everything. I would like to fly to EHAM in my PMDG737. LDS 767 works fine with the scenery. Anybody have any ideas or information?Dennis

Hi Guys.I was making a flight between Dubai(OMDB) and Cairo INTL (HECA) with real world weather (updated every 15 mins) through FS9 connected.I set the ATIS for Dubai on comm radio 1 (131.70) on the active FREQ and the ATIS for Cairo on comm radio 1 on the Standbye side (122.60).When I was nearing Cairo I pressed the little button to change over FREQ for the ATIS which in turn made my PC crash.I have tried this twice now and both times has resulted in a systems crah.If anyone has any ideas would be good to hear from you.Thanks.Tony

I've taken on the responsibility for making new sid/star information available for VATSIM's users for India, and I've noticed that some of the airports don't show ILS information in the FMC when you're coming in for approach.I started to look for where this information is found to see if it's in the SID/STAR files (it doesn't appear to be here), and I also checked the navdata site, and the files that you download with the AIRAC don't seem to contain it either (I'm not -positive- about that, but I looked in each of the files you get and can't see anything that looks like the ils frequencies in there).Where is this information stored, actually, how do I go about adding it f…

before I begin the process of dowloading the entire 737PMG and starting all over again i thought i try and see if anyone new what might be going on. When I first open the 737NG the aircraft is fired up and ready to go. But since I want to begin "cold & Dark" I enter ctr+shft+F1 but instead of shut down, all it does is to continue and start itself. I've tried shutting off the battery, closing all fuel and hydralics and pumps but it just keeps right on trying to start.Anyone have a thought on this? Thanks in advance.Bob AdamsSNAThe land of Palm trees

Hey all,Came across this interesting 744 touch and go cockpit video. It looks like you need more than one pair of hands to do this procedure! :)Armen L Cholakianhttp://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/betaimg.jpg

Guys,Does anyone know where sqwuakbox flight plans are saved. I use Routefinder to generate my flightplans and i save the flightplan to PMDG and Flight Simulator. I want to start flying on VATSIM and would like to save all my flightplans to the Sqwuakbox format through RouteFinder. I just need to know where to park the file.Anthony

Hi Guys,As their are quite a few people here who have access to the flightdeck, I was hoping you would be able to tell me the measurement in inches between the centre of the control columns on the 747-400 as pictured. This is for my home flightdeck project.ThanksGary http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/152111.txt

I was flying both the 737 800/900 and 747 and was able to get this fantastic and very realistic view of the aircraft from the rear. it was incredible, but I have not been able to duplicate this. I must have stumbled on it. It looked like a spot plane view from the rear, but i have been unable to duplicate this detail and realismIs there a command for pmdg aircraft other than the std fs9 views?? Thanks in advance..Peter

Greetings...I've noticed that there are several airports with new/updated SID/STAR charts and I was wondering if PMDG has released updated SID/STAR library files and if so, where can I find them? I haven't had much luck looking through the Downloads area of www.precisionmanuals.com.Thanks, and keep up the great work.PJ
