Hi there!Can someone help me how I can use default panel with pmdg boeing 747. I love there model, but there panel is to heavy for my framerates, but also I am not a pro pilot. I fly alot pmdg boeing 737, and then I use default panel (or som panel from avsim.com) and like it very much. But when I put default panel in to b.747, the front wheel on the aircraft is little bit strange. Hope someone can help me.

Having been given a crossing restriction that states "Cross forty miles from the Charlie Hotel waypoint at eleven thousand and at two four zero knots", how do I program the FMC to reflect the restriction? I'll have to create a waypoint 40 miles before CH, and designate the speed/altitude. I just can't find in any manuals the instructions how to enter the waypoint and restrictions. I know its there, I just can't seem to find it.ThanksChip B.@-@

Hi PMDG. Is there anymore liveries for the 737/900 knocking about? UK based maybe, Virgin perhaps. I realise you people are busy working on how to please us next but i never get to fly my 900, does'nt look right.

Hi there,something happened to my beloved Kai Tak Approach. I think it is missing in the AIRAC file. I can still enter the STARs and 13IGS but the ILS just does not tune in. I tried it manually but that does not work either.Any ideas how I have to change the config files?GreetingsEd

Is the PMDG 737 600/700 TCAS functionable like the 747? If so, how?I've initiated/activated the movable TCAS switches in the radio panel but it still apparently doesn't work. Any words of wisdom?Thanks in advance,Bob AdamsSNA

After reinstallation of FS9 and PMDG 737 and 747 I cannot save ANY panel states neither with the FS9 function nor with PMDG panel state saver - I like to save several approaches to different airports from TOD for practice - but the saved flights have no active route in the FMC, speedbug is at 013 (!!) kts, heading is always 000 and altitude is somewhere between 50000 and 2500 ft , descending at 10000 ft/min !!Do I have to adjust some settings in either FS9 or PMDG ?Before reinstallation everything was perfect . . . On a recent flight in the 744, I decided to do a diversion on a flight from JFK to IAD, so I did a HDG SEL change and got out of LNAV and then climbed from my VNAV PTH alt of 210 to FL350 and headed 180 deg in the opposite direction. I did a semi-circle around my routing to IAD and when I was about 90nm from the LNAV track into IAD, I descended to FL210 and clicked LNAV as I was at about a 45 degree intercept from the magenta line but heading toward it. To my amazement, the LNAV button lit up and stayed lit. I then clicked VNAV and it also lit up and stayed lit. Was I just lucky (or crazy?!) or is this supposed to happen?Jonathan

i dont know why but all of a sudden my cargo doors do not function now, when i first installed the 747 everything was working fine, now i cannot get the nose , or the left side cargo door to open, i have tried many,many unused key combinations so far no luck, any ideas? ;note i have had them open 2 times in the last 2 days but thats it after many attempts, after i change the key combo do i need to reload the flight? restart fs9? any info is much appreciated, also was wondering where is the key combo info stored, what cfg file if any?

Hi,Recently I did a flight from Darwin to Jarkarta (747). Everything wasperfect. After landing I decided to continue with a short flightto Singapore. So I prepared the plane again for the next flight.To my surprise, after cycling the FD switch from OFF to ON, the PFD annunciator didn't show TO/GA | TO/GA anymore. Instead the roll mode indicated LNAV (in white, armed mode) and the pitch mode showed VNAV also in armed mode and V/S in engaged mode.Nevertheless I was able to takeoff without problems, LNAV and VNAV engaged properly - just TO/GA didn't work. Did I miss something?Thank youWalter

I cannot get the cargo vehicle to display, specifically the rear big door loading vehicle. I can get the door open, I can get the front nose and main side door open and the stairs and front loading vehicle appear, but for some reason I cannot get the back loader to activate. Can anyone tell me what Im doing wrong? I have assigned the F-1 through 12 keys to each action but still nothing.

I have been flying the captioned aircraft for a couple of weeks. I find the VNav somewhat sensitive compared to the Level D 767. I usually lose it several times during a flight. Can get it back with some changes in the FMC routing legs but I dont seem to have near as many disconnects in the 767. Any comments? Thanks.Frank

Hi allI am having a problem with atleast one airport when using the FMC in my PMDG 747-400. I recently got 3/4 of the way through a flight from London Heathrow to Princess Juliana and was about to enter arrival data such as runway and STAR but had to abandon the flight because there was nothing there for TNCM at all - no runways or STARs.I restarted the same flight a day later and noticed when entering TNCM as the REF Airport in the FMC, I get the following error message..."Err at VMCDEP, line 25"I contacted Richard from Navdata thinking it was an AIRAC problem, but he advised me that this is a bug in the procedure file - not in the AIRAC.I would very much appreciate it i…

HI everybody,I have a question about the FMC give me the message "not in Database".I have the 737-600/700 and 800/900 installed. I have updated the SID/STARS etc. Now when I create a flightplan with MSFS and I do direct GPS it works fine. Airports are being accepted, runways etc.But if I create a flightplan flying VOR to VOR (for instance from CYYZ to KIND) the first waypoint is YTP (116.55) it will come up "not in Database". I know I had it working before. I had to reinstall MSFS. Even after installing the 747-400 it did not find the waypoints. Is there a way to get them back or to manually put them in?Thanks,Roger

Hi there, I have FSnavigator and pmdg 737 and 747. When I do a flightplan in fsnavigator and export to the pmdg 737 export module, the plan loads ok into the 747 fmc but only tracks as far as the first waypoint in the plan then goes in circles from the 2nd waypoint and does not track the plan from there. Is there anything that i have to do when i import the co route into the 747 fmc?Kind regardsgavin moss

Hi AllIs it possible to move eye position when in VC mode?If you look at Page 33 0f the Operating Manual there is avery nice view of the Fire Handle;when I swing the view up to the Overhead Panel I get a very oblique view.Any help appreciated.All the knobs etc work as advertised in VC mode.Rob

I was just curious about how often the nose door on the 744F is actually used? I mean is it fairly standard for them to crank that thing open to load the plane prior to every flight, or do they primarily use the side door for normal cargo and save the nose for oversized loads? Just curious.Andrew
