Hello Gang,On the B747, the number 2 and 3 crossfeed valves are normally left in the guarded AUTO position. When the aircraft is in takeoff configuration, both of these valves automatically close, then will automatically re-open when the aircraft is airborne. When the fuel pumps are manually configured to tank to engine mode of operation, the fuel synoptic display shows x-feed valves 2 and 3 remain in the open position. HiI just bought this nice plane, but I've got a problem with it : when I do short flights (like Marseille-Lille in France), all is good, but with long flights, such as LA-New York or Beijing-Hong Kong (FL350, M0.86), about in the middle of the flight, the 747 slows down although my FMC is set to M0.86M0.85...0.80...0.75...etc... until it stops ! I've got enough fuel, so I don't understand what happens... Could you help me ?Thanks in advance

This is something I haven't come across before and need some help understandiing! I am currently enroute EDDF-KBOS and let FSBuild create a flightplan that is accordingly loaded. I am at FL320 (Max is FL328 and recommended FL280 according to the FMC). I have been flying for about an hour so I still have a looong way to go.For the first 30 min everything looked normal and I had the CRZ page up on the VNAV page on the FMC. I left the simulator for 15 minutes and when I returned it had gone to the DES page. If I manually go to the CRZ page the only thing I see is L1 CRZ ALT waiting for an entry (boxed), OPT and MAX. Good morning allI having been using the 747 fro a while and it has been working but lately the autopilot will not work.. I have run through endless tutorial material and checked everything, fms is programmed properly,etc.irs is set correctly etc.but here is what happens1. it will not fly the fms route, no matter what, it just goes in circles. entering the next waypoint by lsk1 does not work, it just goes in circles. is as if the autopilot is not even engagedSOI tried to just fly it on heading bug and alt. nothing , it OVERFLYS and then GOES IN CICLES the all the time or ignores the autopilot command.even thought the ap is engaged.I have tried new aircraft ( different …

I bought this producy from PMDG sometimes in beginning 2005; after a problem with my computer I had to reinstall everything including FS9 . I had previously saved on a CDR all files downloaded for FS9 (sceneries aircrafts, AI traffic, etc...), including 737 PMDG. When I wanted to use my PMDG 737, the aircraft actually appeared but the panel was dead and the different letters used to go to other panels did not appear. Hi,Wonderful aircraft, I am type rated on the real one and that's really a good job. One small problem, I would like to move my heading bug with my CH yoke buttons because I'm flying alone....waiting for FsX ....Usually I assign the buttons to the functions "autopilot bug increment/decrement" in the Fs assignement menu.It doesn't seems to work with the PMDG, anyone has a solution ?Thanks

Hello,can I modify the PMDG 744 so that the HDG (Heading) is up in MAP and Plan Mode insted the Track? I know this is an airline option (e.g. Lufthansa, British, Air France have this). But I would be nice to have it also in the Sim.Thanks!Marc

Hello,I don't get any more wind info in the FMC or on the EICAS display on the PAX 747.I don't know for sure how it happend, the FMC says 0, even though I fly trough storms and do see visual turbulence (speed, aircraft shaking). I used to see all this wx info.Any Suggestions?WX reports from OPS (Airliner Pilot) do say winds on the report.I don't know if this comes from Airliner Pilot, FS9, FSUIPC, or PMDG 747-400....Help..Thanks alot,Martijn

Recently I did a flight with some thundery weather in FS9 using the 744. At FL370, I could not exceed Mach 0.82 and N1 was nearly 100% at light weight (about 550K lbs). The aircraft really struggled to get beyond this Mach speed and could not do it. I was appalled; then I realized that the TAT was +7C and wondered, would this kind of temp have caused such an event to happen?Jonathan

Hi all..i have a problem..everytime i put into the fmc a coordinate(for example N60W040 doing a NAT),it gives me a wrong coordinate(example if i put N60W040 it takes for good a new one generated himself for example N59W040 or N61W040 variating 1degree)..WHY??Thanks in advance

I own the PMDG 737-800/900> i usually fly the Jet Airways 737-900. I have now learnt the cold start procedure.I have one question. How do i make the PMDG 737-900 (jet Airways) flight, my default plane when i proceed to 'Create Flight' This saves time as otherwise I need to select the 737-900, which is usually fully started, then i need to switch all the knobs off, before i can do a cold start.Any suggestions.Vybhava Srinivasan

When I try to load waypoints or VOR's in the route portion of the 747 FMC it tells me "not in Data base. It says it has the current AIRAC and I even reainstalled the Current AIRAC. I dont have this problem with the 737NG. Only with the 747. Does anyone have any Idea why this is happening? Any input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Brian Busby.

I'm trying to reinstall my PMDG 747 but I've lost my password. I know "retrieve lost password" is on your website somewhere but I can't find it. I read somewhere to go to the Ecommerce tab but I can't find it there. Maybe I'm just blind but I don't see it. Can somebody direct me there?

For some reason, the PMDG aircrafts react like a fighter jet when I hit the "NAV" button. I also notice that the "Autopilot" has a hard time following commands. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software and still the same outcome.Very frustrating!!!x(
