Hi all,For any future 747 updates, is it possible we can have another TOGA clickspot on the FO side of the AT arm switch? I usually do my flying from the FO side, and it gets quite difficult having to quickly switch to LHS and back again before TO roll. Also a problem in case of a go around.Any way the team can consider this? If not, is there any way I can mod the panel myself?ThanksPaul

Now available at AVSIM FS2004-Flight Plans (ksan_sidstars_196639.zip) and NAVData (ksan.zip) libraries, current procedures revamped include enumerated HUBRD1 STAR for landing runways 9/27 (Use HUBRD1.09 landing ILS9 or HUBRD1.27 landing LOC27 or HUBRD1 if using ATC vectors). All procedures and published approaches are included. The text file header includes SID and STAR Charts to assist in selection of procedures.

HiHad this for about a month and I have run into my first problem.I recently finished a repaint for the 600 version. I download the repaint kit from your website.I have followed the manual install and the aircraft show in the menu and can be loaded.Here is the problem. The switch to turn on the auto throttle does not work for my repaint. It works for all others, stock, and the few I have download from your web site.I cannot workout why my repaint would affect the auto throttle switch.What have a done I wrong?CheersKarl

Hi, I am looking for an SQ paint for PMDG 744 pax and cant see one on the PMDG website repaints section. Why is this? Can someone point me in the direction of a good paint here on avsim. I have tried a few that just dont look quite right.ThanksAndy S

My PMDG 747 on start has the gauges and if i change my view the gauges are missing like this:http://img389.imageshack.us/img389/7931/misinggg2.jpgcan somebody help me with that? and btw, does somebody know how to fly PMDG aircrafts in GPS mode for NAV hold? because i'm finding it hard to do some flights because i can only do a flight with IFR.

GreetingsAfter what was supposed to be a successful installation of these birds, I find I have several blank spots on the panels where gauges are supposed to be. When I am finished with my set-up, prior to T/O I see in the Caution Annunciator Panel..."FLT CONTROL." How do I rid the problem? Anyone have any help?Thanks.

I have all the above models for FS9 but cannot get the TCAS to work or even show any traffic. Before every starts with the standard responses this is what i have doneChanged the TCAS from FSUIP to FS2004 and vice versaInstalled the newest version of FSUIPChanged the squawk codeMoved the button to TA/RA (note that nothing happens when i click the button over to TEST - completely dead)I have pressed the TFC button to make it show on the EFIS. Whenever I do a long distance flight, I completely fill all the tanks and control the fuel pumps right but the Insufficent Fuel light always illumanates(sorry for the spelling) and wont go off. Could somebody help me. Also need to how to determine the cost index for the proper inpu for the FMC DanielCome and Join Independence Air

Hello World, The load mangager does not allow for the exact cargo weight I desire. I was able to enter a fuel weight and then increase the number to the exact weight but then this process increases the number one at a time. Can I increase the fuel weight in higher increments instead of one at a time? Overall am I expected to put in estimate cargo and fuel weights in the cargo load mangager and the actual numbers when I load the FMC in the simulation?Marc B

This problem has occured several times during the decent of my flight. After passing through 10,000 I usually open up vnav pg3 to adjust the speed from 240 to one that is lower depending on conditions. After pushing the exec button the speed usually doesn't change for a couple minutes. If I push DES DIR fs9 completely locks up. I'm unable to minimize out and the screen is frozen with fs9. If anyone knows what I'm doing wrong or what I can do to fix it let me know. Thank you!- Tim Schaff

Good afternoon everyone,My question today is very simple but maybe more harder to be accepted from PMDG.I bough the Boeing 747-400 and also the Freighter version when it was released and there is my problem.I know the excellent simulator knows as Precision Simulator (PS1) who is the most complex and intensive Boeing 747 Simulator where in everything. All systems are modelled. PS1 users are having a complete Weather EICAS display, and PMDG user have not. No winds are showned in our FMC, and PS1 yes. No ACARS pages and PS1 again yes ! They have at least a very completed FMC, with PMDG is not completed on the systems ?? With our FMC is not completed and have missing pages ? …

The automatic thrust reduction to CLIMB THRUST after take-off (at Flap 5 by default, but I change it to 1500ft AGL) only works in VNAV.If you're not using VNAV, then how do you manually select CLIMB THRUST after take-off??

Hi all,First of all I would like to congratulate captain Randazzo and his wife with their baby.Second, I've read today that in rl when you're making a landing with the AT on. Then 2 sec's after t/d the At will disconnect. So That it's possible to make a full CAT3 autoland with out disconnecting the Autothrottle. Hey,,it's not the second time I got this problem with the Queenwhen taking long flights ,before getting the destination I face a trouble with 2 and 3 Engine.all of these -including the engine- are shutting down (2 and 3 of course)GEN CONTDRIVE DISCENGINE HYDRAULICSENGINE BLEEDwhat's the matter ??The Queen starts to stall from FL350 because of 'em !!Abraham

Hi:As a avid and long time user of PS1 I took the plunge and bought the PMDG 747-400 product and Track IR. All I can say is about PMDG is GREAT, YAY, WOW etc :) PMDG is a truly accurate product- with eye candy as well! Track IR works- but I am not 100% comfortable with it yet. I have played with the settings and greatly reduced the yaw and pitch curves, but still find them less than perfect.Any others using this combo, and if so, would you advise me the best settings for the pitch, roll and yaw axis for Track IR? The potential seems awesome, but the practical application still gives me a headache (literally). Thanks!Carl

Hi all,after re-installing the PMDG 747-400 I have quite a problem with the loc capture on approach.About 15 to 20 miles out of the airport I have set everything according to the "book" (flaps, speed, alt, freq. in the nav/radof the fmc etc.), but the aircraft does not capture the loc after pressing the loc button on the panel. Even with an angle of only 5 to 10 degrees or straight to the runway it just doesn't work. It happened with a flightplan in the fmc and without (vfr).One weird thing I noticed....When I press the slew button the aircraft suddenly catures the loc perfectly although I have not moved the aircraft anywhere. Hi, i had a question about wing views in the 747. In the 737, when i remove the cockpit windows from the panel.cfg file, i get the nice view of the wings and the lovely engines :). But in the 747, when i disable the virtual cockpit from the PMDG Options, i dont see the wings. Is there any way to just see the wings and those 4 wrok horses that lift the queen in the sky ? thanks, Saurabh

Hi, i had a few questions about the PMDG 747. - After takeoff, for some reason, i cant get the autopilot to get on the course i have programmed into the FMC. All i do is after takeoff, i wait for the departure control to clear me to my route then i turn on the autopilot and LNAV. the FMC progress never goes past the first waypoint. The aircraft circles back again to the first waypoint after its past it. If i fly manually past the first waypoint then turn on LNAV, the aircraft wants to go back to the airport (even if i delete ,from the FMC, the waypoint i have just passed). - i tried flying manually (HDG set) and autopilot controlling climb. Hi guys,I have the 737-600,700,800,900 series and when I try to click on the numbers on the FMC I get the number above it, I.e if I click on the 0 I get 8. Everything is patched uptodate, can anyone help please?regards, Mark
