I have the wonderful 'Queen of the Skies' offering by PMDG and it's quite a daunting learning curve, compared to the freeware aircraft I'm used to flying. Suffice it to say, I am now totally sold on payware products of this quality. Very inexpensive entertainment.My problem: The link supplied to download the 3 Type Rating Courses at PMDG-Ops (to download the .zip files necessary) only provides access to Lesson #1 files. I've searched everywhere for the additional, required files or links to same but have been unable to find them. It's probably me but could somebody assist me with this? It will be greatly appreciated.Jon

Anybody else out there who has the PMDG CDU Hardware, 747 CDU interface, PMDG "Queen of the Skies", download and the Microsoft Flight Sim 2004 also have problems getting everything to work? I keep getting the following when I try to install the driver: Error copying driver file to C: slabunin.exeProgram FilesEngravity|CDU.Help!! I'm desperate. Thanks

Hi, last Sunday i emailed PMDG support regarding the revalidation of my license key for the PMDG 747-400 which has unfortunately run out due to computer problems resulting in several reinstallations of FS.However, i stil havent receievd a reply even though it says it should take only 24 hours for a reply.Thanks

Hi guys,I fly for a VA Turkish Airlines. They use a recorder to track the flights and log them. To start a flight with the recorder you have to switch on the beacon/anti collission lights.I use also the pmdg NG series and when i switch on the beacon lights and start the recorder it starts to record. How it is supposed to do.But when i do that when is use the B747-400/F i get the message to switch on the beacon lights. But they are ON!!I did some research and asked on a turkish forum about my problem.They assumed to load the 747 in a dark/cold cockpit and hit the L key. it would turn all the lights on and off. And then it should work.When i do that on the 747 it will only …

I have both the 747's and I would like to be able to use the more advanced backup gauge from the 747-400F in the 747-400. Is there any way to accomplish this?

Hi Guys,First of all I'd like to thank u for all the great products from PMDG. I love flying with the PMDG 737-800 and Im am trying to get the most out of it.As u will probably know in real life the time in the CDU can be changed to local time. I've tried this in the CDU from PMDG but it didn't change a thing, which means my calculated time of arrival is wrong as well.Am I right to say this hasn't yet been developed for the PMDG 737-800 or is there another way to change the time in the CDU?Thanks!

I have had the 747 for only a short while but understand the concept from another high-end Boeing sim; I got the engines running the second time I tried, and have successfully completed the Tutorial flight to KSFO. When I load a saved flight the whole thing goes haywire: I have only one engine for at least twenty seconds, and because the flight loads without the AP and Vnav (though Lnav remains engaged)I lose masses of height and speed. Then I hear an awful clacking sound - like a film projector with the reel flapping through it, and NO speed increase for a loooong time.To get back to my height I dial in a higher alt and it will eventually get there, but it takes MINUTE…

I have had the 737NG on the hard drive in the past. FMC worked great. Time goes by...deployments...moves etc, so I had to get a new computer. I bought the 737 NG again because it is a clasic...now I cannot get a flight plan loaded. I have converted to .rte format...put the file in the correct place, found it in the FMC, and all I get when I try and put her in the Co route is nothing...no legs...just a one way direct route. I have updated the airac through Navigraph 2.0...purchased minutes!! and checked the forum with search...help!! Why is the FMC acting like this? Thanks,Scott

There is a weird software interaction, that can be triggered with a certain setting in FSUIPC, and it blocks the application of PMDG autobrakes. I had always noticed this, but after a determined effort, eventually gave up on trying to fix it. I just recently discovered the definitive fix, based on a post I saw here.Other payware planes, or default planes don't seem to be affected by this.ProblemThe autobrakes will not engage (or show disarmed) during a normal landing or aborted takeoff. Yes, I am quite familiar about how to set these up, and when they should trigger and cancel. This is only for the PMDG planes, but both the 737 & 747 are affected.Regular brake applica…

hello all,thanks pmdg for the update on where you stand. i have enjoyed the amazing 737ng for fs9 for a while and am sad to learn there will be no upgrade to fsx but instead another whole new 737, realizing however that there are new features in fsx. its sad to be placing the 737 in the hangar(not keen on the idea of purchasing another 737...) after definate transition to fsx. the release of a new a320 for fsx seems nice for a narrow body option but personaly im a boeing lover. all this to ask PMDG if it is at all in your distant plans to create the ultimate 777 for fsx?best regards john

Hi to all.I am using the 747-400 and for some reason the L/R VOR Information on the EFIS is a wrong.When I use the same vor information with the 737-800 and with the default Cessna 172 it was O.K. the 737-800. the defult cssna 172. the 747-400. Even that the BGN vor station is 01.3 DME from me & QTR vor station is 74.6 DME.I don't know why is 2759 DME with the 747-400.I uninstall & install and.... again the same problem.I got FSUIPC version 3.707 & AIRAC 0608.I need some help pls....Regards,Alon

Hi all.I can't seem to get the windscreen wipers on my PMDG 737 NG 600/700 series to work.Do they function?I recently saw a demo clip for the FS2 crew 737 NG and this features wipers that work, but I don't know if this is for 800/900 series?Thanks for any help with this question.

Hi, I'm using FS9 with FS Traffic 2004 and can't remember how to prevent other aircraft landing on runways at the same time as my 737NG. Something to do with amending the program in FS9 I think. Your help would be appreciated. Marty

I'm old enough to remember when the runways were 28L and 28R but can't remember when they changed to 27L and 27R (presumably because of mag var and I presume they are designated to the nearest whole degree). Here's my questions:-1. Who can remember when they changed please ? - think it must have been about 1980.2. By how much does the magnetic variation have to change in order to trigger the need to change the designation.3. Do many airports in the world have to make this change or does it only affect those nearer the poles.4. Will Heathrow ever change back again - if so - how long / when will this be.

I never minded why the air conditoning light was coming on just about at the point of decent as I was changing my computer. Have reinstalled everything again and strangely enough I still get this message. I have tried many switch settings - but obviously not the correct ones. Can anyone shed some light on this. I just purchased the Queen of the Skies package and am very pleased with it...until I enable time compression. When I enable time compression the Auto Throttle will disconnect. In addition to this, engine 3 will randomly flame out...and ONLY engine three everytime. My FMC will also keep alerting me to a message that says "MAX ALT ***" indicating that there is a max alt the plane can reach, even though the VNAV page will tell me that the max alt is well above that. If I do not enable time compression...the plane flies fine. What can I do? I can't fly from Detroit to Osaka in real time! Thanks

Latest addition, available in AVSIM and NavData libraries. PMDG SIDSTARS file for Dallas Fort Worth Intl (KDFW) Cycle 0610 based on FAA NACO Digital Terminal Procedures data. Includes DPs (22 for turbojet, prop only excluded), STARs (9 for turbojet) and IAPs (24 ILS/RNAV/VOR). The STARs are enumerated for direction of landing, and four are further defined for landing runway for use in lieu of vectors to final in addition to landing direction (can be used with or without ATC). The text file header includes SID and STAR charts to assist in selection of procedure.

Hi, Have just purchased new Pc and experiencing problems downloading Navdata from Richard Stephan's website for my 737NG FMC database. PMDG's manual refers to installing 767PIC/PMDG (all in one installer), which I can't find. Has this now changed to something else? Thanks. Marty
