Not a big deal but I thought I let you know the DHL with RR engines is put in the GE engine menu. It is easily fixed by changing the ui_type from GE engines to ui_type=747-400F RR RB211 Engines.

I can't install new soundset becouse installer has problem if both FS2004 & FSX installed on the same machine !!Any solution ?CiaoDome

When I landed at WSSS, all things happened normally, without any troubleThe touchdown speed is 140kts, and it is autolandingAfter I successful touchdown, I disconnect A/T and A/P and press F1 to idle. However, things happened just out of my expectation, the Airplane crash. I don't know why, it is already very successful.

Can anyone help I am trying to remove the bitmaps from the cockpit views in the PMDG 737-800/900 cockpits so when looking left right ect all I can see is scenery.Thanks for reading this messageRegards AllPaul

Good evening all, I get a unable to install (CF9 Not Installed) message when trying to install the new sound updates.I have had issues since installing FSX betas on the same hard drive with CF9.Please don't tell me I have to reinstall my 21.3 GB CF9 install?:-( Thank's for any help:-)

Hi,I have mostly, also while flying the -400F, used GE powered engines which uses N1 for power reference. Now I have tested out the PW and RR powered aircraft, but find it difficult to understand the EPR reference on the EICAS. I also find it difficult to find any information about it. So I just wonder, can anyone tell me the difference between using N1 and EPR as a reference. I know that N1 is the power of the large fan in the front of the engine, but what does EPR represent? What do the numbers on the EICAS mean?RaymondNorway

I have both PMDG 737NG 600/700/800/900 and 747-400.I was wondering if the following hardware will work with the PMDG products:1. Advanced Flight Control System III - USB version (yoke).2. Latest upload at NavData and AVSIM FS2004-Flight Plans library: PMDG SIDSTAR procedure file developed from FAA NACO Digitial Terminal Procedures current for cycle 0610 (28Sep-26Oct). This addition to my collection updated every cycle includes all (turbojet) arrivals, departures and approaches, including RNP 28R. The header of the text file includes SID & STAR Charts to assist in the selection of procedures. All frequently used arrivals have enumerations for both ATC vectors and self-routing to ILS final approach fixes (e.g., use BSR2 if getting vectors from ATC or use BSR2.28R for connection between STAR and ILS28R FAF AXMUL).

Hi,I have just purchased PMDG 747-400 on disk and I am having trouble installing it.I get to the stage where I get a message: 'Installation cannot continue. You do not have Flight Simulation installed'. Pressing OK has no effect, I just cannot get any further with the installer.I have FS 2004 installed on my D: drive and yes I have deleted it and re-installed it in the past.I cannot navigate the installer to the D: drive and I am not sure how to update the registry.Any help would be appreciated.Thank you,bhp.

Hello,I just tried to install the sound update. After accepting the license agreement the installer tells me, that I don't have FS2004 installed. In the readme file a solution for this problem is mentioned. But it is not possible to locate FS manually, I can only accept the message "Installation can not continue. You do not have flight simulator installed". The only options I have is to accept the license again, which results in the error message, or to exit install shield. By the way, I didn't move FS or delete any registry keys. That update is the first programm telling me, that I don't have FS installed. Does it perhaps matter, that I use the German version of the FS20…

Tthanks for the sound update. I noticed that there is an APU-OUT wav amongst the sound files but i cannot hear it at all in the sim in any external view , can anyone explain this?thanksKav

Just downloaded the 747 and valdated it OKHowever when I try and install, it says it cant find the flight simulator. It is there, in its default folder, but the installer says it cant find it the gives me no other optionsReading the read me file it says you may have to point it to the MS FS folder, but it does'nt give me the option to do this?????Help pls.... Just got back from a 16 day trip to N.Z. with my wife and had the opportunity to have a go in their "Flight Experience" fixed base 737NG-800 simulator in Queenstown, NZ. They had just opened the place 30 hours before and I happened to be the 7th person to do it.I could only get 30 minutes, so I decided to skip the b s and had them line me up on rwy 23 for takeoff. I did a touch & go and a full landing on the infamous Rwy 05. It's pretty scary since your wingtips are pretty close to the mountains on both sides before you line up down the river onto Rwy 05 which sits at least 100 ft above the water. The airport ID is NZQN if you want to try it.Anyways, they gave me a DV…

I am trying to program the FMC in the tutorial flight and after entering route as per book I go to DP/ARR page and choose LSGG DEPARTURES but on the left it says SIDS NONE so that I can't select MOLUS1N as instructed, but if I go to LEGS page the route is shown there??? help please

I'm frustrated. I'm trying to get a couple of buttons on my CH FlightSim Yoke (USB) to engage the TOGA and to disconnect the AP. The PMDG default TOGA engage is CTRL + Z. So, I went into the MSFS control stick assignments change and set the "Autothrottle Engage (TOGA)" command to CTRL + Z and assigned it to "Button 2". I went down the runway in the 747-400 and pushed button 2 on the yoke and nothing happened, but if I hit CTRL + Z, the TOGA engaged (or if I clicked on the screw head near the A/T arm switch. How the heck do ya get a few things mapped to the 747-400 and my FlightSim yoke? :-newburn Ron Weiler

Hi, I need to deactivate flight attendants closing doors in FS Passenger and can't find where to do it. Taking off with one door open is not a good idea. Your help would be appreciated. Marty

Please help. I am unable to open the cargo door on the PMDG Express B1900C. I have been using SHIFT+E+2, and it has worked in the past. However now it will not open. I have checked the FS9 keyboard settings and all seem normal. I am using a differnt panel, would that cause this function not to work? Again thanks in advance for your help.

Hopefully someone has an answer to an issue I have been having with the 737 FMC. I have been trying to program waypoints into the FMC but no matter what waypoint I enter I get "not in database." I was able to enter the departing and arriving airport without difficulty. I am using AIRAC 0608 and have tried installing it twice, just to make sure. It happens using either VORs or fixes. Is this user error or an issue with 0608? I am not currently ready to get the payware AIRAC yet... prob in a few weeks.Thanks for any thoughts/ideas. Will PMDG impliment weather on the ND like PSS has done with thier 777/757? It would be great for this to be available.

I have installed some of the liveries for the 'Queen', some with other engines than the default model eg; the Qantas 747-400 with RR RB211 engines. This is not reflected on the fmc/ident page, where the default powerplants are still listed. I can accept this if it is normal (possibly something to do with FS9 programming)and I have been attempting to absorb the many manuals and type rating courses (gratefully)but I may have missed how to change this in the fmc. I'd appreciate comments or assistance.JonAdded: All NAVdata etc. has been updated.
