Hi there,I was on final for 25l in LAX when my kid touched the stick. The AP disconnected and I could not reconnect it. Please advise. If somebody could advise on how to tell fmc to go missed, it would be of great help as well. Thanks Vickster.

Hello again.I have recently started flying the 747 again after some time with the pmdg 737 and the level D.I have discovered a problem with the thrust reverser.Some times when I am trying to use the reverse thrust after landing,It seems to be jammed,and I am not able to use it.In these situations,I never use autothrottle.I downloaded the software six months after release so I don,t think it is any bug.I think I am doing somthing wrong,but I don,t know what it is.Be happy for some advice.

Just A quick question regarding the engravity CDU.If i'm understanding this correctly, there are seperate CDU's for the 737 and 747.If this is so, at $1,300 each i have to decide which aircraft i want to buy the CDU for.Is this true,seperate CDU's for each aircraft?

Recently I reinstalled the 747, today I wanted to do a pretty long flight (EHAM-TNCM), but during climb every few moments the autopilot disconnected. Sometimes there were 30 seconds in-between, sometimes it disconnected the moment I pressed the CMD-A button. In total it disconnected some 60 or 70 times today I think. I have NO idea what causes it; the disengage bar stays up, I've checked my hotas (Thrustmaster Cougar) for unwanted keypresses but there are none. I use FSUIPC to suppress gusts / turbulence, and I also use ActiveSky V6 with "FSUIPC wind smoothing" checked. Hello all, I have just reinstalled FS9 and all add ons, did a flight from EHAM to TNCM. All was well until in the cruise VNAV would not hold the calculated speed. It would hold for a while then suddenly airspeed would just drop until the stick shaker activated, then I would have to rearm VNAV and or coax the speed back up by flying manually and losing some altiude to gain some speed, pissing off ATC in the process. I was flying at FL 320, the FMC calculated altitude. This cycle must have repeated itself at least 10 or 15 times. I have AS6 as well and I have heard that certain settings may somehow influence this behavior. Up till that point I have also not saved the fligh…

Hi all, I was just looking at doing a proper flight with my PMDG 747-400F but so far a lack of a decent fuel planner is stopping me. For the pax version by PMDG, I have a fantastic fuel planner that I downloaded (from avsim.com i think) by Felice Valente. If anyone else has this fuel planner for the PMDG 747-400 (pax) then they will know why I like it. I've seen spreadsheets out there for the Freighter, but they are too cumbersome to use in my opinion. Could someone please build (or direct me to an existing) a PMDG 747-400F fuel planner like the one I have for the pax version?Thanks,

Hello!Since upgrading my graphics card from an Nvidia 6600GT to an ATI Radeon X1950 (and doing a clean install of Win XP), i have noticed a slight graphics problem when running the PMDG 747-400 add-on on FS 2004.The outline of the aircraft seems to look all "zig zaggy". When I had my old graphics card, I had a perfectly smooth outline (just the way it should be!).I only installed the new graphics card last week, and have the latest Cataylst driver. Is there possibly a setting in the Cataylst Software that needs tweaking. I have tried all sorts but never managed to rectify the problem described!Any ATI Radoen users's had a similar issue? Hello thereI see many comercial flight routes by American, Continental and others flying the 737-800 at flt400 and even flt410.When I try to re-enact these flights I get an FMC error stating that my maximum flight is 343. When I request flt380 or higher I am usually more than half way through the route and my fuel tanks are not even half full.Any reason why?Thanks Bill

Hi,I've had the 737 for two years now. great product.Recently, I've started flying it with FS2Crew and RCv4.Not sure my if problem is connected with the addons..Anyways, here's the problem;I'll be at cruise level on a three hour flight. I use RC4's 'pause before TOD mode' so I can leave the flight and do other things round my house.When I return to the monitor, many times the autoplot is disconnnected, and the plane is bouncing on the ground or water. Hi AllAfter the recent events of the Thomson 757 having a bird strike and as a result an engine failure, I thought it would be about time I practiced my 'Engine Out' situations on my 738.Take off was fine, at about 500ft into the climb I switched off the starboard engine and continued with my climb at V2. Levelling off at 2500ft I continued and prepared to make an emergency landing. All was well until I was established on the ILS. Flaps forty, the plane was very unstable. I was set up for a CAT3 landing and yet the plane was having major problems staying stable on the ILS. Why is this, and how can I land the plane successfully on just one engine?Any ideas, advice etc woul…

Gentlemen from the development team,Is the fuel input option which is displayed on the third INIT page modeled as well?? This would even easier than the PMDG menu which is used on the 747-400. Just put in the amount of fuel you want and jou just have to wait till the entered amount is reached. This would be very easy when you ar loading the aircraft and started the preperations for the flight.Greetz, Ronald

Helo Pilots!I have the 737NG series and the 747-400 as well(only the pax).During descent, approach and landing the fps starts decreasing in panel and VC mode, the spot and the tower view are runing good.About 2miles final the fps is 6-8.After landing, during tha taxiing the fps is still the same and 5 minutes after shutdown the engines the fps goes back to normal.(737 and 747 is the same)I've tried with default and payware scenery, with activesky and default weather, with and without AI traffic but the problem is tha same.My last flight was EGLL-KMIA(heathrow pro and fly tampa miami).The miami scenery is more fps friendly then HP2, but the fps at heathrow was normal and i…
