Hi. I hope someone can help me with this. I've downloaded De Braban's sounds for the PMDG 737NG but I just can't get them to work. I copied the sounds into C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator 9AircraftPMDG737-700sound and nothing. No external/internal apu sound or anything. Anybody know what I did wrong? Thanks in advance for any help.

I used the search function - but in over 100 postings I could not find the answer . . . When I am flying with the 747 I noticed that I am just by myself in the air . . . no TCAS signals whatsoever. Yesterday I had an approach into JFK with not a single TCAS signal - not even far away . . .When I am with the 737 in the air I see very often signals around me - with traffic alerts and without and even in cruise there are signals above and below . . .The PMDG settings are identical in both a/c - I am using reg. FSUIPC - do I have to set the 747 in a special way ?

Due to my computer problems, I had to reinstall the 747-400 PMDG software and that several time without problem (validate by PMDG internet connection)...Now my computer is OK, and I try to reinstall but I have an error from PMDG site connexion

Perhaps some of you out there will think this a simple matter, but it causing meproblems and I cant fathom out what is wrong. I program the FMC with the required data, change the fuel load etc. The flight plans are all entered ok, prior to taxi I switch on the FD, when I attempt to switch on the autothrottle, it refuses to operate. Can some one please suggest what causes this, it is not a constant problem only on occasions. Any fix for this would be much appreciated.

Hi,I have the v1.5 of the fuel planner by Milan Puta but the max TOW is wrong I think. I was planning a route from EGSS-EFHK which is about 1000nm and wanted to load 166 pax and 5000kg of cargo/bags. When I put that in the PMDG load edit it says the max TOW of the 738 is 78,636kg but on the fuel planner it says my TOW was about 70,000kg with the about mentioned loads but it says it was out of range. Which is right on the max TOW the load edit or the fuel planner? Is there a fuel planner thats better and works ok?Thanks.Andy S

Hi, I had a problem with opening the 737NG doors in the fact that they just wouldn't open, so i searched in this forum for solutions. I found a thread that mentioned using the PMDG tab in FS9 itself. I have done this an assigned key commands to the doors but now whenever i try to use these commands wierd things are happening like its starting to pushback or the stairs will extend and retract. I can't seem to get it to follow the commands in which i am setting, does anyone know of how to do this, Thanks steve

Hello Guys!I flew a approach on any airport A/p on APR on aswell. Suddenly, I pressed the TOGA switch and i didnt want to follow the TOGA procedure coz i just accidentally pressed it/. I disconnected to A/p and A/t and continued to land but still the PFD directs the FD to TOGA even i shut down the engines and delete the fmc. Any way i could delete the toga proecdure is it in the FMC or something else. Oh btw, the Speed mode on mcp doesnt change aswell.one more thing on PW engine can i start the engine similar to GE? thanks in advance Raj,.

Hi, I was wondering if my having the pmdg 747 installed before the pmdg 737ng and -800/900 would make my 737 perform poorly. I ask this because I did have the 747 first and then bought the 737 and my 747 runs on my system well, but the 737 doesnt at all, and it's really bugging me. Thanks for the help!Paul Schmitt

Hi ALL,I've a simple question. Can anyone tell/teach me how to go about doing an accurate and realistic Kai Tak "crazy landing" reenactment?I know the airport/runway is no longer in service, and those kind of approaches and last second 45 degree bank right onto the runway is extremely risking and requires pilot skill and finesse, but since PMDG is THE 744 simulator, I am seeking advice on this forum on how to do a KAI TAK landing. I'm new to the PMDG 747 so bear with me if there's a simple answer. I just ran into the tank-to-engine switch issue on a flight which left me doing an emergency landing with 15000 lb in each of #1 and #4 and only 5000 in #2 and #3. I realize I should have switched the valves earlier, but my question is, is there a simple way to predict when to do this, or do I just have to sit and stare at the EICAS display? Why doesn't it switch automatically?T.

Hello,I've been using the 744 and 744F for about 1 year now, and haven't had a problem, however, when I run through the normal engine startup sequence for some reason the engine start knob (on the overhead panel) will not illuminate when i attempt to pull it out properly (this happens in both the VC and 2d). It has worked normally for quite a while, so perhaps I've missed something? or forgot to do something basic?Thank-you for your time, and any help is much appreciated!Michael

Hi everybody,I'm new in this forum but I also have almost a year using the PMDG 747 passenger and freighter version my question is how can I make the ND do the green circle around the runway of the destination airport because I saw that on the Youtube website and here's the link anyway: Another question is how can I make the navigation display do the white circles when is in plan mode beause I tried to do so but nothing happens and it appears in the own fmc's users guise from the 747's operating manuals from pmdg.If anyone can help me I will really appreciate it.Any suggestions are welcome,Victor.

Hi,I have read somewhere, (can't remember where!) that some guys have interfaced the PMDG 737 with Project Magenta. I am curious to know how this was done and whether or not just the PM Systems was used, or the complete glass cockpit. I'm currently using the PMDG 737 and building a cockpit so want to have all switches and annunciators working from hardware panels. Can anyone help here?Manmy ThanksRob

I have generally mastered ILS approaches (auto and manual) now (still wouldn't want to be one of my passengers at some times !!!) but Luton has me beat. Hi everyone,After having a time away from simming with some real life stuff going on, I'm back to FS and am having lots of fum re-discovering the sim. One feature that I never did try was the flight resume (saved flight) with the B744- which I understand is one of the few add-ons that offers this feature. I'm about to start one of the long tutorials on the B744, and wondered if anyone had any thoughts to pass on, such as how well it works, are theer any things to watch out for, etc.Thanks- Bruce.

Hello,Have noticed a few things with the speedbrake EICAS messages for the 744.You have the "Speedbrake extended" EICAS caution, or the "Speedbrake Auto" for a failure of the automatic system. From my understanding, theere should be a memo (White) message that displays "SPEEDBRAKE ARMED" when it is armed. I know the 777 has this, as well as the 737 (Green Light) and the 757/767 do not. But from the Boeing updates, it appears that the later build 744's do have this memo message.Can anybody confirm?

I had a problem with the 737NG when I tried to slow down the throttles stayed at the full power settings. Disconnected AP and AT no throttle response from keyboard or joystick. It doesn't happen on every flight but its annoying when it does. I read a previous post where someone had the same problem back in 2004. I think the problem is still around. Hopefully someone can help. Thanks John

I've finaly found the origin of my BIG problem: why with PMDG aircraft I have FPS limited tu 7-10 fps.It's because of FSUIPC 3.7Without FSUIPC I have an alert that tells me that without FSUIPC PMDG won't work.I went over the alert and found my 737NG at maximum FPS (limited to 33 by FS settings).So now what should I do with FSUIPC?! :-bang
