Hi ThereIm wondering if there's a way to intercept radials on departure (eg in the FMC)? For example, out of Kai Tak the departure instructions given by the departure frequency was sometimes:'[Callsign] turn right heading 180, intercept the CH Radial 132 Outbound'How can i input this into the FMC?Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,I would like to use the Reference Airport and Gate on the POS INIT page of the FMC to verify the inital position on the 747. I read somewhere that the data should be in the SIDSTAR file but I couldn't find anything on the format. How can I make this data available in the FMC?Thanks!Christian

We're on Runway 7L at Lax and have loaded the PMDG Flight Plan of LAXSMF001.After entering this Flight Plan into Co.Route I receive a message reading "9 Rnw Load Err"I first thought that it may be caused by not using runway 9 but I note that this runway doesn't appear to exist.The only choices are:7L25R7R25L6R24L6L24RCan anyone help me deal with the problem please?Cliff

1. Is it possible to create a 'Procedure Turn' for an approach in the FMS?2. How exterior lights are used in relation to phases of flight?

Hi everyone!Today I've encountered that MSFS tends to crash to desktop when I try to go directly to a fix on the LEGS FMC page after ATC advise. I down-select the desired fix to the scratchpad, then upselect it to Line 1 on the 1st LEGS page, EXEC illuminates, I press the button - and here we are: the screen turn black with the SquakBox only displayed, and then there's a window that suggests to send a bug report to Microsoft.Two attempts to fly from EDDT to EDDM wrer ruined by that crash. Both crashes occurred under similar circumstances.Is there a way to fix it?

First, I am having trouble getting the speed brake to work with either the 2D or the VC cockpit. I see that I can pull back on the handle, but it stops after moving only a little bit. It was working fine in the VC, and not in the 2D, but it's not working in either cockpit now.Second, is there any way to set the airplane so that the fuel cutoff valves are in the cutoff position and not in the on position. I have saved my aircaft to cold and dark by shutting down via a checklist. I then double-checked the list and triple checked the cutoff valves. It appears that none of these posts can help me, so I have to start another thread.I'm flying the 747-400, and my flight plan takes me from LFPG (Paris) to KLAX (Los Angeles). Payload weight is 127280lbs. The route was made using FSBuild, and the total distance of the flight is 4972nm. My fuel planner gives me a total fuel load of 291573lbs (after correcting for headwind). The 747 manual tells me to put (minimum landing fuel + alternate fuel + contingency fuel) in the FMC reserves, and that gives me 53873lbs of reserve fuel. In Tim M's tutorial I am doing everything by the book but my plane ignores the holding track completely. I execute the missed approach, and re-engage LNAV and the AP per the tutorial. I head on the magenta course at about 210 deg. I'm at 2000 feet as instructed then I get a FMC chime to "reset mcp altitude." I can't see why, cause the hold is for 2000. Then I arrive at the oval and the plane turns to 141 degrees and continues on without turning onto the track. Happens every time. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?? Thanks. Tom

after flying the the pmdg747f i am not interested in any of my other addon aircraft the attention to even all the small details is what pulls me in. but believe it or not i have been running it on a piv 1.1ghz machine 15fps in the sky about 7fps on ground lol so pmdg has made it worth it to me to go get a new computer maybe if i post some specs of some i am looking at maybe you guys can helpme pick one out that would in the future run the pmdg 747 and md11 on fsx thanks.
