Hi, I have had the PMDG 744 for over a year now, my re-download service is over. I have upgraded to vista, and lost my 744. Can I still get it back? How?

Hi...I like to upgrade the "Queen" to the freight- version. At the PMDG site it is said, that I need an i-net connection to the PC where I like to install to. Unfortunately, due to performance reasons, my Sim- PC is not connected...ist there an alternative procedure or will I have to stick to scheduled flights...!?Thanks in advance...

Hello all.I just bought PMDG 737-600/700.I installed it, copy the aircraft files in the flight simulator aircraft's file.Then I launched FS2004.But my 737 has no eicas, no screens, ...I think it's a problem for gauges, but I'm not sure.When I had installed 74PMDG, I had nothing to do. But I believe that I have to do many things so that 737PMDG works.Moreover when I choose my aircraft, there is no this little loading as for 744PMDG.Please, help me. Hi - I am planning on flying United's "Capital 1" (I believe it's called) route, from KIAD (DC) to ZBAA (Beijing). I used FS Build to create a flight plan but I was wondering if there is a way to figure out the route United uses so I can replicate it. Any ideas would be appreciated!!! Richard

Hello all.I'm probably going to buy 737 NG add-on in the next days.In fact, I'd prefer buy 737-800/900 instead of 737-600/700.But, do I need the 737-600/700 add-on to buy 737-800/900 add-on, or is this up to me ?Thank you for answerring.Bye. :-)

Hi,I see on this picture there seem to be two decent forcast arcs on the Captain's ND. Is it just something to do with the picture (maybe a slow shutter speed because it's dark) or is it actually there? You can just see a bit of the FO's ND and I can't see the corner of a second arc. Hello PMDG developers/beta testers,I am now beginning to look into building a new system for FSX. I basically will spare no expense on my new rig. Core2Extreme, 8GB DDR2 SDRAM (or 4 depending on your answer), GeForce 8800GTS Video Card 640MB VRam (already have the card in my current rig:-). I have one question though which of course will affect the amount of RAM I will need to purchase. Are you beta testing primarily on Vista or XP? And if so which edition are you using? Are you using 32 bit or 64 bit? As you know it is pointless to have more than 4GB RAM in any 32 bit OS, but I have heard that 8GB on 64 bit systems is AWESOME. Like I said I will spare no expense. Hi all, just purchased the 744 and already love it!!To activate some addon airport scenery (Real CDG) I need to tune "Nav 1" to 112.45. Hi,I'm using the B1900D with a VA provided repaint.When I start the engines, my frame rates drop by almost 3/4 from about 25 normal to about 6. I turn off the engines and the frame rates go back up. It's repeatable but I don't remember having this problem with other repaints.Sound is set to medium quality. Lowering that did nothing.I am going to try the default paint, different airports, etc..Any ideas on what would cause such strange behavior?Jeff

I noticed that the liveries are back online. Will their be separate installers for the FSX versions or will the current liveries install into either sim. Also just a compliment on the drawers that come down to reveal the liveries very nice, also the pictures are back. Very well done on the website it looks very good.

Hi there,In FS2004 I always fly with the PMDG 737-700 (version 1.3).I have recently bought myself a throttle quadrant (from Go Flight, inc) and therefore I don't need the throttle quadrant window anymore. That is, except for setting the engine start lever from cut off to idle during the engine start phase. I have not been able to find a method to do this in another way than using the mouse.I would like to use some axis to toggle the engine start levers and since you can assign key strokes in FSUIPC to a joystick axe (axe? axis? sorry, my knowledge of the English language is not good enough here) it would be nice to know which keyboard action could be used to toggle the le…

The other day I decided to set up a long transatlantic flight from Europe to the U.S. which took almost an hour to set up and taxi. Well, after takeoff, the autopilot on my Queen decided to do it's own thing. It refused to follow any VNAV, altitude or speed settings that were either set in the FMC or on the MCP for that matter. The aircraft just kept trying to climb as fast as possible, to the point of either stalling or over-throttling the engines (N1 max rpm warning). LNAV and even 'heading select' worked fine. Since I'm going to rebuild my FS9 setup on an XP machine, which version of FSUIPC works the best with both the PMDG737NG series and the 747 Queen of the Skies.I've read here about the best version being 3.7.0. Also, has anybody tried out the latest version, 3.7.4.0? Any advice would be helpful.Kim

The attached gif is of a chart I've got in Excel, mapping Optimum/Maximum FLs verses Gross Weight (lbs). I loaded her to MTOGWand watched the VNAV page as I decreased the fuel loading.Much to my chagrin, I intended to decrease the lowest charted weight by restarting the test run with an empty payload and exactly enough fuel to match the lightest test data obtained in the first run. However, the VNAV page displayed an optimum FL that was 2000 ft higher at the same gross weight (the only difference is different zero fuel weight).Must be more to this calculation than simply gross weight.

Hi to everyone,I just got a problem from my pmdg 747 passenger a freighter version, as soon as I start viewing the panel after loading the pmdg 747 the engines accelerate too much almost 50% of N1 I tried to press F1 on the keyboard for come the engines to idle but nothing happened, the engines come back to almost 50% of N1 and the trust level on my joystick is on minimum.I would really appreciate any advice,Regards,Victorfcl.

Hi there, its been a while, been busy with personal stuff but i managed to get back to the paint brushes, and for us Brits, i did the RAF version (if they had it!) of the Jumbo.she is in 216 Sqn from Brize, oh and when you decide to load her or put the steps on there is a nice personal touch, i have painted the equipment but im not showing screenies, you will have to try her out!below are the latest shots i have of her, the -400F is below, i am now working on the normal -400.hope you like her.comments and suggestions as always most welcomekind regardsBond.

When I go to click the button to change the altitude for the 747's auto pilot instead of getting a little hand that I would normally get I get a double sideways arrow (The kind you'd get if you want to make a window bigger sideways)When clicked the altitude goes down by 100There is no way I can see to get it back up again.Really frustrating me!Can anyone help?
