hi all,i've noticed that when using FS2Crew with the 744Pax and using the FS2Crew "panel config." the fuel "Totalizer" field is missing on "Progress" page 2. only the "Calculated" field is displayed. before installing and using FS2Crew both fields were being displayed. thanks in advance for the help. i asked this same question at the FS2Crew support and Bryan suggested i try here as the FS2Crew program does not make any changes at all to the PMDG FMC. is anyone else using FS2Crew with the PMDG747 experiencing this? thanks in advance for the help. sorry about the double post. signed the 1st one incorrectly. happy flyin, Tim Wheeler

Hello all. I have a question for someone at PMDG.I integrated an HGS (Hud) panel that someone made here on AVSIM into my 737NG panel. I love this Hud panel and I always fly the 737 on approach using it. Naturaly, I would like to make this modification available to other fellow simmers on AVSIM, but I'm not sure how to go about it. It involves modifying the stock PMDG panel.cfg file.Am I allowed to just post the panel.cfg file, or would that be violating your copyrights?? I have just updated my Navdata the other day to the latest AIRAC for all my addons and when I went to play FS I loaded up the 737 to fly LAS-SNA and the RBELL intersection on the BOACH2 departure was shown off to the right of the runway centerline of 25R when its supposed to be lined up right with the runway extended centerline. Throughout the whole flight using LNAV the plane would have a XTRK error of about 1.5 nm to the right of the LNAV path then it appeared to be crabbing its way along the whole route looking like it wa trying for the path , but never actually got on it and stayed about the same dist away from it the whole flight allthe way down to landing where the…

I'm almost convinced I'm doing everything correctly ie: not using shift+ / to arm the spoilers but the actual Throttle Panel. I can land fine but no joy on the spoilers. They don't move. I always start a flight with the Cessna, shut it down then select the 737-800 so as to avoid some of the numerous quirks of fs9. Could this be the root of the problem?Jon Shearer

Now we can fly over the poles (in FSX) will the 747 simulate position updating? I believe GPS updating stops at north of 88.5

Hi guys can any one help me I want to assign the GF-T8 switches to my pmdg744 but I am not sure what key assigments are use. All i want to do is assign taxi,landing lights, strobes,becaon nav lights with out using the mouse. I know I can do it thru FSUIPC but I can't see where in the PMDG menu where u can change these assigments. If I use standard FS assigments then nothing works when I am usuing the PMDG 744.Cheers Craig(captainc)

Hello, I am having problems installing the pmdg paints with the supplied installer by PMDG, the aircraft paint doesn't show up at all. And the installer says it was installed successfully. I am using Vista Premium. Why is this? It has worked before on Vista, three times to be exact. I have no clue whats wrong here.

Hi all,I've spent a couple of hours looking for a prospective replacement to my beloved Level D 767-300. Unfortunatley I have builts a very expensive sim up over the past year and now switching to the very tasty looking PDMG 747 is going to cost me about 200 Euros. 49 for MCP driver and 99 Euros for the Engravity CDU driver and 49 euros for the Sim. The hardware is FSX ready on both accounts does anyone know if these drivers will be or am I going to have to shell out another huge amount of money to run the 747X in FSX?Also it seems there are loads of problems with the MCP and the driver or MCP Pro?????? Hi all,I have noticed when i set a derated climb thrust of example CLB-1, when i pass a certain altitude the climb thrust setting switches to CLB.I suppose this is normal behaviour, as it happens not always. I think it depends on wheight and combination of height.It happend with me at FL150 with TO weight of 315 T (700 lbs).Just to confirm if this is normal behaviour or ... ?

How come before I have departed (just after i enter the zfw on the perf page), the ND gives me an estimate for my first waypoint? how is that possible? I thought that it should remain as '----z' before airborn.2. During preperation for the flight, I set my route in the CoRoute box, everything is fine, it comes up, and i am able to check through it on the Plan mode on the ND. In RTE2 i have the engine out procedure and my route going back to the airport if i have any problems on take-off, when i try to go through it on the ND and press the 'Step' button on…

Hi, the LOC indication F/D seems not to be very acurrate, compared to the 737. When the LOC goes to the left or right there is no measureable motion of the FD bar. Jan-Paul

Hi,I have recently bought this fine aircraft, and although I seem to have grasped the fundamentals I have a problem with the Autopilot.Ok, Alt set, hdg set, FMC primed, take off roll, hit TOGA, reach Vrgear up. flaps retract, but then I cant arm the autopilot (cmd)or Lnav.Questions, then.Is there an altitude until which Autopilot/Lnav wont arm?Can I arm Autopilot on the ground?Am I missing something with the FMC? Hi Guys/Girls,I'm a long time flyer of FS9 Queen and I've just been looking over the 744X on the website - it looks stunning. Are any other users out there flying the Queen on a Vista/FS2004 installed laptop ?, I installed Vista on my Dell XPS Gen 2 laptop for less than 24 hrs before uninstalling and going back to XP/FS2004, reason being the very poor Vista graphics drivers for my Go 7800 GTX card. I could not set a resolution below my display default (1920x1200) and I was also unable to set a display centred scaling,I fly the Queen on XP/FS2004 at 1600x1200,nicely scaled to the centre of my display so it does not look oddly stretched.I will buy the FSX version of the Que…

On a flight from WSSS to YSSY, I had an aircraft cross my flight path a few hundred feet below me. Needless to say, my TCAS went crackers. It told me to climb but as I could see we would miss, I decided to continue on as normal. While the conflicting aircraft was within maybe a quarter mile, the A/P disengaged and I suddenly started to climb.
