This is a consern brought up in my VA's forum. I know you switched currency but the numbers are still the same. So does this mean the FS9 744 went from $55 to $74 or is it 55 whatever your local currency is? Also, can current users of the 744 still get a discount? Hi,Being in the in the last bit of my ATPL training I was wondering if there is a good load sheet for the 744 and also the 737NG family. I'd like to try and do things in hand and also is there a way to get LMC? Martin

I am just curious if there will be a new manual released with the new PMDG 747-400X for FSX. If there is going to be a new manual, how many changes are going to be made in the new manual when compared to the original version that was released for FS2004?Thanks.

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to ask this question.. but I am curious.. does anyone remember my posts regarding using the same origin and destination airfield in the FMC when constructing flight plans? I am just wondering if this problem will be repaired in the FSX version of the FMC?When entering a departure and arrival airfield in the FMC, and activating the route, it does not go active in the current queen.. Only one question- is it still fun to fly?I've loved the PMDG and LDS planes in FS9. Not only a good systems sim (just limits of FS), but a blast to fly. I can't say that about certain other payware addons.BTW Rob, I was on a Blue Ridge CRJ a few weeks back- now in the employ of Chautauqua (COEX)And nice to see the 73x coming too (finally!) I've entered several items of information into the FMC and activated them. Now I change my mind and want to start from scratch by cancelling everthing and starting anew.How is that done please?Cliff

In Topic #129097, the solution was given concerning Range Rings on the ND. This was to amend the PMDG 747400 Guages file. Okay, I amend the file, save it and the range rings appear on the ND. However, if I change aircraft, the range rings now do NOT appear and I find that the Guages file has reverted to the original text (TCAS_ShowRange Rings=o).Very frustrating.............any ideas?Many thanksIan Oak-Rhind

Help!My 747 and 747f work well except for one little problem, The view out the window on the 747f 2d view is black ( i.e no immage whatsoever)I have no idea how to fix this and running repair in of no use. This weekend i was enroute from KLAX to KBOS in the captains seat of Polar Air Cargo flight 001 heavy, a boeing 744. It had been a routine flight so far out side of some thunder storms over Colorado that caused a slight deviation from our flight plan. Our current location was approximately 250 kts due west of KBOS and about 30 miles from TOD, at FL330 Mach .85. Greetings, all.I ask the following only of rated pilots of Boeing aircraft - specifically the 737 NG series.I am using a particular add-on where Autothrottle is not available if the autopilot is disengaged. Yet another add-on I have, the PMDG 737 series, has it so that if you are in certain speed modes, such as VNAV, with the Autothrottle armed, then the Autothrottle controls the engines even though the PF is hand flying the maneuvers manually with the autopilot off.I need to know the correct procedure, as I am striving to perform correct procedure since I am about 3 semesters from attempting to actually certify on a jet through my flight school. My 747 was causing fs to crash...turns out it is FS2Crew which saves me the agro of doing a re-install.I see an up-date is available but will this fix the problem...if only I could get on their web site, does anyone know if they are having a problem with it!Has anyone else had this problem of it causing fs to crash...seems it was working fine after I installed it??? Whiie reading many forum's that I'm subscribed to, I thought of a question as to the mindset of all FS users,We all know how FS-X has improved the general experience to the user, if you have a good enough system, but where does your priorities lie?Are you willing to stick with FS9 for the foreseeable future, and all the add-ons you heve now, or would you accept FS-X default as is, with better systems as PMDG suggest are on the way, is. Now im very very confused, as i was just looking through an airliner world issue from december 2006 i came over a mail order catalogue which came with the airliner world issue. As i looked through the catalouge, which was the flightstore`s order catalouge, i discovered to my amazement that they where selling the PMDG MD-11 for FS2004 to a reduced price, showing the cover of the md-11 package depicted in the ad? As i searched their online store just now, i could not find it, i wish i had a scanner so i could scan this ad in and show it to you. Does anyone know why they had an ad for PMDG md-11? has it been released once for FS9 and i seriously did not notice?RegardsYngve

I am looking at PC upgrades.. some people have posted some significant frame rates with FSX.. and I am looking at a system that will deliver that..I am not fussed about any other games.. Hi,Transfered the model complete with preview thumbnails into FSX and everything looks good except for the VC. It is completely black except for the gauges. Anyone else having the same problem?Thanks,

I'm having a few problems assigning keys using the PMDG menu interface.When I select the Keyboard Assignments option in full screen mode, the screen just goes black. You can see the mouse pointer appear in the space that should be occupied by the window, but you can't actually see the window itself.Tried switching to windowed mode, and although I can see the box now, FS9 crashes after applying a new key assignment.I have the latest graphics card drivers and am running Vista home premium. Any suggestions?

How do I get the patch to install if I don't have FS9..?I installed 1900C and 1900D to a temp folder fine then did the manual update to my FSX folder, but the 1900D patch does not see 1900D as being installed....

After updating FSX to service pack 1, when I go to use my FS9 I now find that my PMDG load managers will not work, also my FS2crew centre will not work and my Active Camera has been reduced back to demo mode ??When you click on either of the two PMDG 747 / 747F load managers the message " Fatal Error can not detect a valid microsoft flight simulator installation" come up on screen.FS9 is flying fine, so what is going on ??? HELP !!Its ok guy's seems the registry had been hijacked by FSX when I reinstalled it before applying sp1....used the utility over at flight 1 and all is well again.....

Hi there everyone. I have been experiencing a very annoying glitch for the last like 2 years with the 737 and 747 PMDG aircraft. I use the Saitek x45 joystick/throttle. The throttle has a trim knob and it works fine on every aircraft. With the PMDG 737 and 747 the trim is unchangable. By this I mean that when I rotate the knob, the trim will move but about half a second later it resets back to 0. So its impossible to keep the trim in one place. Does anybody else have this problem. How can I fix this?
