Hi, How do you manually tune the radios. I was approaching CYYZ rwy 6L there was no ils approach for any of the runways for some reason, so I wanted to tune to ILS 6L. How do I enter this in the scratch pad. Do I just put ILS 6L, or IJS 109.10 (IJS is the ident). And then what do I select, do I put it in the preselect line. The reason I ask is because every time I try to enter it into where it says PARK is says entry invalid.Any help would be great. Thanks,Ian

As I had mentioned a while back FSX is plagued with OOM errors even in the default sim. Phil has also said they will not modify either version of FS to stay within the limits of the O/S. Hello. I have been trying to get my PMDG 737 to work with my GF-MCP Advanced Autopilot. Can someone please give me step to step guide to fix this I have tried everything! Thanks so much.

I am using flightaware.com to plan my flights and in the flight plan there is a waypoint like this 02000W is this waypoint possible to enter into the 744 FMC . The whole filght plan is as follows PETTY PECOK JOFFS MOFAT REDBY CARPE 5300N 05000W 5400N 04000W 5400N 03000W 5400N 02000W DOGAL UN544 DEVOL UL975 LIFFY UL975 WAL UM16 NAPEX UM16 DOLAS UL603 ARNEM UP147 RKN UL980 DLE UL986 SABAB UT710 KEKUS Z98 KRW-The queston is are there types of waypoints possible in the FMC .

After a break of about 10 days with no flights and no changes on the computerI started today a flight JFK - TXL ...Now my question : after t/o the heading to PUT is 062mag/047tru but the FMC on LNAV modus always tries to fly about 25 degrees to the left which means 037mag/022tru - same from PUT to TOPPS, then I finished the flight.After about 1500 hrs on the QUEEN with no such things this is very astonishing . . . I have another question today :-)In the 747, if you're in level flight and you were to switch off all 3 PACKS, and close both Outflow Valves, the cabin altitude starts to rise indefinetly (ie the plane is slowly depressureising). Does this mean the aircraft is not airtight, and the air is flowing out from somewhere? So are there holes in the airframe where the air leaks out?Subin

This is the only way I can maintain speed whenever I fly at the equator. The only time this happens is when I'm at the equator. Now I know real pilots don't avoid this region. There has to be something I haven't tried yet. Any thoughts? Also, how long can I run like this before something really bad happens?EDIT: I re-enabled the EEC but even if I throttle to idle, the red boxes around my N1 is still there. Did I break something? The manual says that temperature control can be in auto or manual control. All I can do is get auto mode. Can you put in manual?Thanks, John

Hi, I have a few questions - 1) After the glideslope is captured, AP 1 and 2 are set, APP set, etc, and the plane is descending fine, it suddenly disactivates. 2) I'm told that during approach, I'm going to see green markers indicating when to extend the flaps. This is not so. I only see the green marker for UP. I have gone to APPR REF, and selected the flaps configuration.3) APU - After both engines are started, I turn off the APU. I get a whole bunch of RED warnings: Low pressure for fuel, yaw damper turns off, etc.Any ideas? Thanks. Todd Chan

I need some advice. I try to build a flight plan with FsCommander then put it in the coroute. The plan shows up but after I set up the altitude.It says Cruze unable. also on the first page of the fmc the sat-m sat-s acms cmc and memory lsk are unselectable. I new to the PMDG and a little lost on everything any help would be great.

I`m just starting with PMDG and can`t input my flight plans from FSNav into the FMC. I have the dll from FSNav and put it into the export plans folder and exported it to PMDG.When I try to load it into the FMC I get a `Data not available` message.There was a plan that came with the software and that won`t load either.

I may be making a schoolboy error here but I've just just updated to Airac 0706 and when programming the FMC, it doesn't have the runways for EGKK and EGLL in the database. As a newby to this great piece of kit, I need a little help. What is the best way to load up the fuel, do we use the FS9 screen or use the PMDG Load Manager or is there another method that I don't know about.

Im trying set a Trim Level and can't set it up. I try with 7 and 1 NUMPAD keys with the NumLock off. Adjust the white area but can't do it.any suggestion how to do it?Dilip Solanki

Hi,please imagine the following scenario :Polar flight from Europe to PANC and the plane encounters a rapid decompression and has to dive down to FL 140 ( at least ) for atmospheric oxygen . . . next suitable airport for diversion is about 1000 nm away. Is the remaining fuel sufficient to reach this airport due to extreme higher fuel-flow at lower level ?I simulated this and my findings are as follows ( PMDG 747-400 ) :Max speed at FL 140 was M 0.68 and now the surprise : the fuel-flow went DOWN from roughly 2.9 Ktons/engine at FL 340 to 2.5 to 2.6 at FL 140.Is this realistic ? I thought always that the lower you fly the higher the fuel consumption - I checked the abnorma…
