Hi Mika,PMDG never post release dates and i would suspect that we won't see the 737NGX for at least a few years yet!!We still don't have the MD11 and that's been in developments for many, many, many years.There is no doubt that it'll be a sensational product but like i say don't get to excited, it's a long long way off yet!!RegardsJames

I own PMDG's 737NG (600/700/800/900) and would like to buy PMDG's 744 add-on but would need a boxed version as i dont have the internet at home only at college, so does anyone know where i can get 1? it's my birthday soon so hopefully someone else will open their wallet instead :-) But another question is i have only FS9 and cant afford to upgrade my PC for FSX as im still at college and on a weekend wage, but if i get the 744 for FS9 and buy FSX later i know i have to download something to make the 744 compatible but would their be any difference in the realism or graphics as if someone was just buying it to add-on to FSX? it sounds a bit confusing but would be REALLY gr…

I had to do a "repair" install of XP. I went to reinstall my PMDG 737-600/700 and my PMDG 737-800/900. They reinstalled with no problems, I only needed reinstall textures.Now I need to reinstall my 747-400 and 747-400F. Problem is the fact the installer for the 747-400 asks for and order ID and password. Where do I get these?It's strange that both planes appear when I run FS9, but the panel lights go out after about thirty seconds. Also, no PMDG planes appear in my Add/Remove panel.I am confused. I have two questions regarding the taxi procedure runway. 1) When doing the flight control check I notice that the ailerons react to my movements but immediately return to their neutral position even though I have the yoke fully turned. In flight however the rudders stay in the position of the yoke.2) Do 747s taxi at idle thrust? It is quite annoying having to adjust the power up and down to keep a constant taxi speed.Thanks,Ron

Hey guys can anyone help me with my problem? I cant seem to turn the knobs on the autopilot on my PMDG 747 and some of the buttons cannot be pressed. Does anyone know what's wrong? When I move my mouse over the knobs and buttons, it doesn't turn into a hand, just stays as a arrow.....

I am experiencing a new problem...so far with the -700 and the -800. On climb to cruise both engines will simultaneously and unexpectedly fail. Aircraft setup at the time is LNAV/VNAV engaged and fuel set to main tanks- which are full.The first time it happened I was unable to get either restarted at FL300 and the long glide began. The second time I was passing FL190. I was able to restart both engines and re-engage LNAV but the autothrottle would not re-engage and after a brief 3000' climb the engines quit again and could not be re-started.Most baffling and frustrating to say the least so any assistance would be appreciated.Roger Curtiss

Hi All Can someone please advise what an amber message at the lower right of the altitude tape "NO TDZ" means an what needs to be done about it? Is the Bank Limiter modelled ? I have it set at 10 or 15 degrees usually on cruise but the airplane turns much steeper than that.The bank angle seems to be directly proportional to the change in track required and the bank limiter is ignored.Thanks in anticipationDavid

I entered a waypoint into the Route page on my 737-800 FMC IWW260/10 which is a point 10 miles after takeoff from runway 26L at London Gatwick, the waypoint was accepted fine and the waypoint symbol was in the correct place on the display. I then decided I didn't really need it and used the DEL function but it kept saying Illegal Delete, so I was then stuck with it.Why would it prevent me from deleting my own manually inserted wayoint ??Glen

I fly the 737NG using only the 2D view and presently use two 19" screens (main panel and popups). With a computer upgrade to include the necessary video cards, I have been advised to try a quad - four 19" screens for the main panel configured to work like one screen 24" X 30" - two screens above two. The view would then be twice the size and double the resolution. The objectionable part would be the interuption of the view caused by the frames of each screen. I would appreciate knowing what if any experience anyone has had using a quad and would welcome any comments as to how well it might work as a way to a larger view without the distortion of a widescreen monitor.Peter…

I would like to buy a new computer with flight sim in mind. I currently have a upgraded HP with 2 gigs, and a Gforce 6200 card. I can't upgrade to windows vista because of the chip-set. Hi all,I've ran into a small problem, I fly with British Airways Virtual and currently enroute from VHHH to EGLL - it's a bit of a long haul so life being what it is I have had to save and reload the flight - upon reload the 2D cockpit is not visible ,there is a black band where the cockpit graphic should be !. Virtual cockpit is fine as are all other views.Anybody else had this problem/found a solution ?.I've tried quitting and reloading but still the same, also tried starting a new flight and 2D cockpit is displayed Ok.Very strange !.Regards,Phil McAlpine.

Hi Captains,A question about the optimum FL :When in cruise i have in my VNav page "ACT ECON CRZ 2/3" a stepclimb announcement : ex : Step to FL310 at 0806z/15nmAnd in the lower richt corner of the same page you have the OPT and MAX FL => FL301 MAX FL362Now here it comes : when my FMC tell me to go to the nex FL : "Step to FL310 NOW", my optimum FL is still only "FL301" !So am i alowed to go to the next FL as soon as the FMC tells me "NOW" or do i have to wait for the OPT FL to be at FL310 ?I know there can be a difference, but can it be that much ?ps : the numbers i gave are examples !

Hi Guys, I have been flying the PMDG 747 for some years now but only just took the plunge into online flying. Last night i signed up with Vatsim downloaded FSINN and RW and parked up at heathrow to have a listen to whats going on. one thing i noticed was even with the engines off I found the voice volume too low under the noise of the packs and electrics, so is there a way to turn up the voice for pilots and atc? Also i fly with TrackIR so is there any software or hardware that would allow me to have ATC only from my headset? thanks. Firstly, please let me just inject a little thank you to PMDG for the their quality products and a note of appreciation for their corporate philosophy/culture. I will of course purchase the FSX 737, 747 and A3xx ships eventually.I am running the PMDG 747-400F on my FS9 rig. All sliders are maxed and my FPS are very adequate, everything is smooth as silk and enjoy flying the Queen daily. Presently I use dual DVI 19

I have loaded up the latest EGKK SID's from Navdata in to my 737-800 and have selected the LAM4M sid from runway 26L. I can see the first two fixes (IWW2.3 and Fix02) in the FMS Plan screen but the magenta line does not fly over them. The IWW2.3 is the first turn point after takeoff but the aircraft follows the maganta line and turns too early. I have LNav selected and the autopilot in command mode. Any ideas why its not waiting for the IWW2.3 fix before it turns to the right. It can't be following the HDG bug because this is set to 260.Glen

HiEven after having had the pmdg 747 for over a year there are still lots of things I do not understand.The buttons under the top left panel marked WXR and DATA are one of those things.When I click on these nothing happens.Can someone please tell me what should happen and why it does not happen with me.Also I have the level d 767-the landings with the level are a dream-but not with the pmdg 747,The 747 pmdg tends to be very 'touchy' near the the ground ,the slightest movement will take it off the center line.Is there anything in the settings I can do to improve this.The aircraftcon.fig file etc.I have a ch flightstick usb-it works great with level d.Looking forword to you…
