Hello, I'm having some strange problems with the 737's at least with the 737-800, all of a sudden after a long time of usage, my fmc doesn't calculate vspd anymore!! The speed tape is completely out of value, the aircraft doesn't respect the 250/10000 speed restriction and is giving false values while calcuting vref approach speeds!I have been using PMDG 737 for a long time now and I know how to setup my fmc correctly so the problem isn't coming from me i suppose!i have taken a couple of screenshots in order to illustrate my problems!Hope someone will be able to help me out as this is kind of frustrating!!For info, i tried to remove and reinstall my PMDG boeing but it did…

The 400X has full blown smooth native FSX wingflex, yes. The model is completely rebuilt.

I am building a basic simulator using the PMDG NG for my flight model and want to resize the panel. I am going to use a 22" or 24" LCD for my FS dispay for scenery etc and a smaller 17" for my panel/oh/throttle quad etc. In order to achieve this I wanted to resize my 737NG panel, but it doesnt seem to resize as other aircraft do. Has anyone tried to reziise the panel, and if so would you be kind enough to let me know how to.Thank YouJarrod Clowes

I wonder if somebody could help. I've been using FS for years but only just purchased PMDG B747-400 and getting to grips with programming the FMC. I've read the tutorials and manage to create a plan, the LNAV engages and works fine but VNAV hit and miss and more often that not I end going to ALT Hold to get FL I want. Then the most annoying thing is that on flying from EGLL to BIKF today the Autopilot whilst in VNAV/LNAV or even in ALT/HGD Hold mosts kept disconnecting itself repeatedly it would sometimes go minutes before it did it and later in the flight about every 10 seconds until it drove me crazy.Anybody any idea what I could be doing wrong or is there a patch I …

Hello,May I ask what does this exactly mean in FSX? Does it mean that if you're flying through CB clouds the engines could flame out, and if so, how does it recognize which CB has the thickest/biggest hail etc? Does this really happen in real life too?

Will there be any added functionality in the cockpit with the FSX version of the 747? I understand that the lighting system in VC will be more advanced, and being a purely VC flyer I certainly appreciate that, but apart from that? Not that I know what could be improved. Can the weather radar be simulated properly now with FSX? How about that ACARS server? ;)Edit: Paul posted just before me, didn't notice that!

I know PMDG have several types in devolopment these days,but what I realy would like is a 717.A modern dc9 on steroids.Much of the coctpit systems and other systems is from the MD11 which at these stage is on beta testing,and if you cooperate with jet city aircraft,and use their excelent visual model,I am sure you can get a very good product at a relativ low cost and devolopment time.I am convinced the new 747 and 737 will set new standards,but many is starting to get bored of the types.Then the 717 is far more exotic.Comments is welcome.

I am getting a new computer, I know I am supposed to uninstall the aircraft off of the old computer and install it on the new one.the aircraft is no longer on the old computer because it crashed and i used the system recovery discs, i don't know if this makes it any different of a process than uninstalling in add/remove programsIn Short the aircraft is not on the old computer but it was removed when I did a system recovery instead of in add/remove programs what do I do to install on the new computer?I appreciate any helpAnthony

i was ondering and pondering this for a long time and the case is not all i need help but a general one as well.i was wondering weather anyone else has a problem with SIDS or STARS not coming up in the Dep/ARR database on the FMC.i found this on VATSIM that i did not have any SIDS in the database just taking off from gatwick... lucky for charts eh!well if anyone has the same problem or whould kindly give help i would apreciate it alot.thanks for taking the time to read my case.

Is there a way to setup the cfg so that when my flight starts i have all my view set to 50. Everytime i start i have to go to all the views and bring them back to 50

I have been using the pmdg 737 for a while now i just built a new pc and was making a flight when i noticed the fuel in the center tank was not what i put into it. I usualy put the fuel in the fuel section of msfs now i usualy take small flights so i never need more than a 1000 pounds a fuel in the center tank but i notice that it puts in the maximum amount of fuel (28000 pounds) in the tank instead. can anyone help

I use both the PMDG 737 and 747. Ive been using both for quite awhile and havent had any problems until recently when i did a new FS install. Now both of the aircraft will crash my FS to desktop without even an error message displaying, usually after about 5-10 of loading up the aircraft. Any reason these aircraft are crashing the sim and more importantly is there a way to fix it?

Ok, I know "how" to "set" a temperature or 1/2 in the FMC, but how do I know which one to use? Is there some standard convention to go by?I read the manual and all I could get was the circumstances in which I could NOT use a derate.All I know is that if the runway is about 10,000 feet long, use 54 degrees... any thing else and it is all blind, using either no derate or D/1 or D/2 takeoffs.So some insight on what these numbers mean and which ones to use would be much appreciated!

Hi,In the 744 it is possible to assign a keyboard command to a switch, so that the keyboard command operates the switch.Is there a way to do this the other way round? I mean, when you operate a switch it outputs a key command.If this is possible, you can activate some functions in other programs, like attaching the seatbelt switch on the overhead to the seatbelt function of FsPassengers.Hope anyone can helpGreetz,Ronald

Are the STAB fuel tanks ever used in 744, currently flying VHHH-EGLL > 6000Km with pretty much a full fuel load but the STAB tanks are always empty. Just wondering ??.Regards,Phil McAlpine.

Is there any way to force the FMC to overfly a waypoint entered into the Route page. I know when ammending a Sid or Star you can use the 'Overfly' command, but how do you do it when entering waypoints manually into the Route page.Glen
