Hello,I have this situation with the 744.It can not maintain the crz alt.When I enter FL 320 as crz alt, the aircraft will take me to FL 390.Even when I set the MCP ALT to 32000 it still goes higher.The situation is than, that it keeps climbing and I end with a flaps of 30 at FL 250, so that the aircraft stalls for it can not increase speed.In the Eicas there is still CLB even when I am descending or cruizing.It is always fl 39000 I noticed, is there some special reason for this???This is not nice flying, for I get into troubles with ATC.The aircraft also strays away from the track sometimes, but perhaps that is because I have the setting to have control over the steering…

I have a dell xps with the new windows vista, i downloaded the liveries for 747-400F and installed them which everything installed fine, but when i go to the liveries on the flight simulator they are not there, i tried re-installing, and still they don't come up in the sim, all the other liveries are there excopt the 747-400F, any one can help will be appriciated,

Hi all,VNAV does not engage after takeoff even though I've programmed the FMC and have VNAV armed for departure. After takeoff, I tried VNAV, THR or SPD to no avail.It will only engage if the current speed drops 15kts below bug speed.1.What am I not doing right?2.How can I solve this?3.Has anyone experienced the same or similar problems?Thanks

Hi, I have read all I can find both in this forum & PMDG web site about installing PMDG 747 400 aerosoft CD version, but I can not get it to install into my new Vista PC. I disabled user account control, I tried it in both XP compatability mode & windows 2000 mode. All with no luck. Its the only one of my many add-ons that will not install. I contacted aerosoft & all they could suggest was what I have already done. Has anybody got any ideas? ( apart from going back to XP) Thanks in advance for any help offered.

Hi there,I want to reinstall PMDG Boeing 747. But after a while it comes with an error; "Installation cannot continue. You do not have Flight Simulator installed". That's stange while I've installed and using FS2004 with other airplanes and PMDG Boeing 737-800.Is there anybody who can help me out with this problem?

Is PMDG making any new products for FS9, like a triple seven? I see that they only have a 737 747.Or are they just going to concentrate on fsx product now.Thanks Ian

Hello everybodyI Have a big problem.I have just bought the PMDG-GoFlight MCP Pro Interface. I would like to operate it on the PMDG 737 and 747-400 + 747-400F.I bought the license therefore, downloaded the program and I installed everything. Then, I followed the procedure of installation. I changed the configuration in GF config to place it in "compatible add on." With the PMDG 737 -600/700/800/900 it functions marvellously.When me chosen 747 (passenger or cargo plane), FS 9 crash and return to the desktop. For info, my fsuipc is registredI have FS 9.1 and I possess the last updates of 747-400 & 747-400F.Does someone can him to help me? Thank youAndre

OK Guys...I have FSX, and installed it,but it is just sitting on my hard drive while I wait for the PMDG 737NGX. The NG is the only aircraft I fly with any regularity. So here is my question.Should I be doing something with FSX while I wait to install the not quite ready NGX? I want to be ready when NGX is available. For instance, should I install the service pack 1? Should I be doing the other tweaks I find on the forums, or should I wait for recommendations from PMDG?Thanks for any help.Don

Hey, This is a small item, in an overall excellent package. My issue I would like to raise, is that of the profile of the rubber part of the wheels. The 747 has the profile modelled (I guess is an effcient manner) with the wall of the tyre quite flat, whereas the real aircraft has curved sidewalls; loaded and unloaded. The rubber actually curves outward from where it is sealed to the hub, and then curves back to the flat of the tyre. I have tried my best to draw what I mean, please refer:Perhaps PMDG would be kind enough to update the model - but I understand the huge amount of work that would cause, and why It may/may not appear. Does anyone have problems taking-off at WSSS Singapore Changi? Half down any runway, the flight crashes.:-(I know that the runways at WSSS in FS9 are bumpy, but in all other aircraft I can get airborne.Any suggestions?:-hmmmCheers.

Hi all just looking for some advice here on repainting the 737-700 model. I'm trying to create a grey military style flat paint scheme, IOW no reflective properties. However after using the PMDG paintkit and making sure there are no alpha channels in the files, my repaint still looks a bit shiny. Is this because the model itself is a reflective model and therefore can't be made to have a "flat" look to it?

Hello everybody,right now I am on my way on the three hour flight to KIAD and once again I have a strange problem with my 737 700After programming the FMC and takeoff, the pane doesn't track the airway as it should. There is a small offset to the right and because of that, the airplane is in a continuing left bank.My first impression was crosswind but I have never seen it before like this. In the past the 737 would show a yaw into the wind but never a bank.I have tried the whole set of tricks but I can't get it solved.Does anyone have any bright ideas of what could be wrong?thanksLuc BrusselmansBelgium

Hello can the PMDG FMC recognize NAT tracks? For example I use FsCommander to generate my Flight Plan. In my flight plan I have the current NATS, when I load the flight plan it says for example Track Z not in database. Does anyone else use FsCommander? if so how do you tell the fmc to follow a certain track. Any help on this mater would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,Ian

This handbook has been around awhile; however, the latest edition just came out and it's a good read and not difficult to follow (lots of examples and pictures). Hey allI have recently re-installed the Queen after some time out using another aircraft but have encountered a problem that I didn't have before.After loading her up and while sitting on the stand I loose all displays in the flight deck and end up looking at blank PFD, Nav Disp and EICAS Displays. Initially when i load up the aircraft everything is fine but if i go outside and come back in all is gone or if I wait approx 90 seconds it goes anyways. Any advise on a fix greatly appreciatedthanks Martin
