HiI have been trying to fly the pmdg 744 for the last 2 years with a joystick with minimal problems.Recently I bought the ch padels and I have started getting a number of problems,one of these problems is:The auto brake switches off when I try to straighten the airplane using the rudder control after landing.I do not push the brake padels.This creates a major panic in trying to slow down the 744.I have posted this to ch products-and no answer.Could somebody please tell me where am I going wrong-and what I need to do to sort this.Qas

I have several problems with my PMDG 737NG. The first problem is that i couldn`t active the switches under the guards (the caps over the switches). I can click wherever i want nothing happens only the guard is moving. Is there any solution for that?My next problem is the main display in the cockpit. Since i installed the 737-800/900 my main display is wrong. As you can see in the attachment. It worked fine if i only have installed the 600/700 Edition. Hi all,While in cruise i have accidentaly pushed the Thrust knop on the MCP.The Eicas now gives me CLB mode in stead of CRZ.Now how do i can go back to CRZ mode ?Thanks

Everytime I want to use the VTSP Phuket Arr/Dep procedures, they don't show up on the FMC display. I don't have any problems with procedures of other airfields. I tried to change them but no succes.Any suggestions?

Not sure if this has been covered. I would like to export fsnav flight plans into the fms of my pmdg 747. Is their a work around?

If I am going to buy 1 Beech 1900 should I buy the C or the D? What is the difference between them? I know the C is a later PMDG model and it comes in 3 variations. Acording to a review on the D it had the default 350 gauges, but you could install XPjet2 qauges or something. The default was just ok. I read the specs on the C and it says new gauges technology that was then used on the 747. I fly in VC mode and want it real with the switches etc. working. Hi Guys Can someone advise me how to manually tune an ILS into the FMS NAVRAD page. All I get is "INVALID INPUT" What are the constraints and the input format please. I lost the auto tuning on a missed approach and had to land the airplane with no ILS tuned and absolutely manually.Very Challenging !!

Hi all,I was flying the other day with my PMDG 747 and once again I noticed the my flap extension/retraction speed was really slow. It starts really slow up until between flap settings 5-10 then it speeds up to the normal speed.Can anyone help?ThanksChris

I have come back to the PMDG737-800 after flying the RFP747-200 for a bit. I have quickly got back into flying with an FMS again and generally have no problems apart from one... During takeoff I activate the autothrotte and use the TOGA to initiate power (all works ok), after I rotate at about 400 ft I select A autopilot to CMD the V2 increases by 20 kts and the N1 and LVL CHG switches both light up as normal, but the engines reduce power and start hunting at around 60 to 70 % with the result I begin to stall.I have rechecked all the settings making sure I have activated the FMS and A/T, F/D. Any idea what I might be doing wrong ??BTW this also happens if I select VNAV…

When I am taxiing my 747 around sometimes when I make a turn the airplane will lean toward the outside of that turn. It usually happens above 10 knots ground speed which I know is fast for a turn in a real plane. The 747 seems to be harder than some planes to control taxi speed when making turns.I was just wondering if there is a way to eliminate this feature. I have a lot of addons and most don

I have been waiting for this bird since i saw it announced for the first time for more than 2 1/2 years ago. I just wonder will it ever become real or do i just have to wait for another 2 1/2 years.

The PMDG747 Queen of the Skies is great. I have a request for the PMDG staff.One of the greatest inclusions of the PMDG support is the Type Rating Course. I enjoy going through all of the four TRCs; however, the Course stops at Lesson 4 and one hangs in the air without the last bit of information outstanding, i.e. approaches and landing.Can you tell how can I obtain the 747-400 TRC Lesson 5?Chris

I just download the PMDG 747-400 Queen of the Skies. And also I update the SID / STAR data from http://www.navdata.at/php/sidstar/dl_list.php?addon=PMDG and http://www.planepath.com/ Im trying to do a flightplan from KSEA to KSFO. But Give me a err 16c rwy unknown error. PMDG actually included above route in flightplans folder.However when I do so it ALWAYS GIVES ME A ERROR. Either not in database error, or runway error, or always some other kind of error that should NOT be happenning.Why does this error happen and how to resolve it? Does anyone have a flightplan from KSEA to KSFO in PMDG's .rte format specifically for the 747.Thanks,Mukesh

Yesterday I was flying VS019 from EGLL to KSFO. During the last maybe 15 seconds of the approach, I hit some wake turbulence and the aircraft suddenly veered to the left and stopped descending in addition to the bouncing around. My first question is whether something a heavy as a B744 could be affected this much by wake and what I should do if I know wake is present.Second, while I was wrestling with the aircraft, but before I actually touched down, my spoilers started deploying. Since the EICAS was only flashing the message, I'm guessing they were opening then closing repeatedly. Does any one know what I did? All I did was close the throttles and begin my flare. I …

Hi there....How can you get the the overhead panel in VC mode to be usable? This is for pmdg 600/700. Secondly do the windsheild wipers actually work? I turn them on and nothing happens.They dont work in the beechcraft 1900c either.Any help would be appreciated...thanksPaul

Hello airmenDoe's anyone have a logical explanation on why the spoilers are deploying late in replay mode? The spoiler deploying sound comes correctly on touchdown, but the spoilers doesn't deploy visually.Another problem is the replay on takeoff. Let's imagine that I'm airborne, the gear is up and the flaps have been retracted on schedule. Then I'm starting the replay at the point where I'm on the runway. At that poing the gear are retracted. The gear are extracting automaticaly, but the flaps don't go out to the eg. "flap 10" position where the were on the original takeoff!!!I have seen some videos on youtube, where on the spot view, you can see some wing tip contrails …

HiI recently purchased and installed PMDG 737 - 600/700 Series add-on for FS9 and am now getting a "Aircraft Initialization Error" when trying to load any of the two modules under the PMDG option in "Select Flight". I'm using Windows XP and have no other add-on's installedDoes anyone know what I can do to resolve this issue? Appreciate any help.ThanksRitesh

Do the latest versions of PMDG 747-400 require the V1.1 update?I plan on purchasing the PMDG 747-400 and was wondering if I need to include the update which was first issued in November, 2005.Thanks.Stanner

Aerosoft now has a new flight planner FLIGHT OPERATIONS CENTER.Does anyone know whether flight plans created by FLIGHT OPERATIONS CENTER can be sent PMDG aircraft?I know that flight plans created by Aerosoft's FLIGHT SIM COMMANDER can be sent to PMDG aircraft.Thanks.Stanner

Hello All,Anyone else seen this. I am in the midst of uninstalling and reinstalling in the hopes that this will fix my errors. My FS has been crashing to desktop, not sure really the cause, as I have not had much time to debug it, it is either hardware or the PDMG. So anyway, while trying to figure stuff out my PDMG is showing all installation folders in my uninstaller as being like 22951.10MB in size. This of course seems to be enormous so I am uninstalling it with the hope that this is what is causing the sim to crash.Any theories as to why it is so huge.Regards
