HiI just simulated a flight out of MMMX. The first 30 minutes were "bumpy" - medium chopp I'd say. I climbed using VNAV mode. What I noticed: the target speed indication (little pink arrow on the speed tape) jumped around erratically. No big moves, but moving between 290kt and 300kt. It only stabilized once I was out of the rough.Is that realistic or something happening only in the Sim (that would be OK, I am just curious)? Or do real world pilots not use VNAV when climbing through rough weather?ThanksChrisPS: although I was using AS6 and had just downloaded current weather, this was not hurricane "Dean" - I was flying out to the Northwest.

I have downloaded the PMDG 737 Fuel Planner from the PMDG web site.I note that the fuel planner DOES NOT export the amount of calculated fuel to the aircraft, despite a message stating that the fuel amount has been exported to the aircraft. I have FS9 open, and running, with the aircraft at the gate.What am I doing incorrectly?StannerPSI am aware that in the LOAD MANAGER I can export only the payload (cargo plus passengers) weight, and not the fuel weight.

Hello all,I recently re-install PMDG747 on a new computer. Then I downloaded the Air France livery, install it. Until there, everything was working well.Then, I decided to install new liveries. I proceed as I usued to do, download the livery and install it with the auto-run setup.But, when I run FS2004 and want to take one of those liveries, they are not here, none of them.So, I had a look in the aicraft.cfg file, and everything seems to be good. I tried other liveries but the problem is the same. It's like if I could only have one livery.So, I unistalled PMDG747 and reinstalled it. People, I ve just installed my go flight MCP PRO and bought the PMDG interface made for it. However, as soon as i registered and installed the key as asked by PMDG interface, the Vox Atc program stopped working. So i removed the dll for the pmdg interface (go_flight_PDMG or something like this) from the modules folder in FS and Vox ATC starts to work again. Please PMDG help because i ve spent a resonable amount for the interface and now i can not use it with on of my other favorite addon. Thanks, Rodrigo Samico Carneiro. Brazil.

This is my 1,000th post in this forum and I wanted to take this opportunity to thank PMDG and the community as a whole for providing me a much needed and loved hobby. I am in partial retirement (only partially voluntary) and was looking for something to keep my mind occupied 18 months ago when I decided to try getting back into flightsim (I've used MSFS since the first wireframe monochromatic game in the early '80s). Hi,I'm using VOXATC.How do I get Flightplans into the PMDG FPlan folder (so I can use them in the FMC) which I've saved using the default flightplanner in FS2004 so they can be used by Voxatc?Alternatively, how do I get FSBuild generated plans to work in VOXATC?Any advice gratefully recieved.Many thanksPaul

I have some major problems in the FMC.I would like to start a flight from Christchurch, New Zealand.In the "POS INIT" page I'm getting my own position. It show something like "S43*******, W173*********" You know how the position is written.Then I inset the "REF AIRPORT". Pressing NZCH and push the button nest to "REF AIRPORT". But the FMC says the coordination for NZCH is "S42********, W172********".Then I'm going to the "RTE" page, And once again I press NZCH into the "ORIGIN" and then the airports is showed on the "navigation display". It shows that the airport is placed about 160 kms north west of the real position of NZCH.I can take some screenshots of it if you want.…

Hi all,I have just purchased the "boxed" version of PMDG 737-800/900. Now before I load it up I have a couple of questions:1. Do I need to purchase PMDG 737-600/700 for it to work like the downloadable versions or will it work on its own?2. Is their any limit to how computers I can load it onto running the the same copy of FS2004? I would like to load it on my laptop and desktop computer but the desktop is about to be replaced and I update the laptop every few years.3. I wanted to inquire if PMDG would or has considered fixing several bugs from their latest release of the 747 (FS9) series before launching all the new tin. Namely:1. 744F: At night, with the overhead panel in view, there is a lighting anomaly that occurs when the following is replicated (from L-R): CKT BKR/OVH PANEL: Turned ON once to the RIGHT from OFF; GLARESHIELD PANEL/FLOOD: Turned ON once to the RIGHT from OFF; DOME: OFF Then, on the cabin/cargo temp switched to the right replicate the following: MAIN DECK TEMP FWD: Turn all the way to the LEFT towards "C".The lighting anomaly occurs.2. 747: FUEL USED in the FMC PROG page resets to "0" upon …

Can anybody tell me how to stop the plane using tank 1 and 4 fuel when I still have more fuel in tanks 2 and 3? Also when using center tank fuel it starts using 1 and 4 fuel.Thanks,Marco Koolstra

If you elect to allow VNAV to do an approach and take you down to the airport (at least to within 100 or 50 vertical feet of it), must you conduct SPD intervention on the MCP or will the FMC control the speed for you and step it down in stages? [How about if you enter a SPD RESTR in the DESC page of the FMC, and enter, say, the Vref30+5 speed for 1500 feet?]Jonathan

I am new to VA's so excuse me if this is a stupid question. I have had the 1900D for over a week now and I love it.....except for the AutoPilot....I just can not figure it out.I have looked everywhere in your install files and on your website for a manual on this plane and it's avionics and I can find none.....am I looking in the wrong place or is there none?Thanks for any help on this. hehe, Just wanted to get your attention:I am trying to assign keys to Barometric controls under PMDG->General->Keyboard Assignments->ISFDNone seem to work. I have insured that no other mod or flight sim is using the keys used.For instance, I assign 'K' to '166 ISFD - Press Baro STD', then close. However, 'K' does nothing.The Documentation seems to only address the various doors and key assignments.Known bug?Any Ideas?Thanks,Mike Neese

Hi,I was the other day trying to comply with a departure procedure which requires to cross SMO VORTAC (110.80) at 160 Radial and turn left.I set VOR L for 110.80/160 (and it showed the correct frequency and radial in the radio screen in FMC) and at the same time I saw the VOR L showing DME of 5.0 in the Inboard (Navigation display) which means I did receive the VORTAC signal.I switched to "VOR" in the ND mode selection and saw the details of the VOR but I was NEVER able to see either "FROM" or "TO" indication from the VORTAC and was never intercepted the VOR. Hello captains...Since I installed my 30" monitor running a resolution 2560x1600 I experience some strange graphical behaviour on the overhead panel on the 747 (only!). Hi,is it possible to update the 744, that the FMC shows True and Grid Heading?On my last 'near-pole-passing', the NDs shows True Heading, but the entire FMC is set up to magnetic!!!!!!I miss as well the Grid Heading Display on the ND. The FMC shows no Grid too. As you can imagine, True Heading is quite "useless", if you fly near/over the pole. Would be pretty cool, if you could implement this :)Servus,Marc

Hi,after several unsuccessful attempts to take-off at or just barely below MaxTOW I would like to know if you have to observe special procedures for this. I have roughly 1000 hrs on this type and never ever had any problems while taking off . . .Some data : WSSS Rwy 20C TOW 874621 lbs or 396851 kgs - V1 Vr V2 at 154/170/181 - temps around 30 CAfter V1 and shortly before Vr the AC stops on the runway and it says in german "Absturz" ( german version of FS9 ) which means "crash" . . .The AC is right on centerline, all wheels are still there where they should be.I waited at the runway holding point to be sure all taxi fuel was used and to be sure to have not exceeded MaxTOW.A…

Hi,I purchased the Goflight PMDG MCPPro Interface. I could not start downloading with the Internet Explorer as it sais page not available.Then I tried to download with Fire Fox. It worked, but the download is less than 1kb. I opened the zip archive. It said it would be damaged. I didn't figured out how to download it. I am using ZoneAlarm. I turned off the complete firewall. Nothing has been changed. Hope you could help me.Thanks a lot!Stefan
