Hi, I have a little probelm here, when setup FCM, I noticed than TRIM values is always 5.5, tested in diferents fuel and pax loads.The CG changes, but not TRIM.Any body knows where can I get TRIM setting chart for 737/700 ??Tks a lot

I have two sets of speaker attached to my speaker. In FS9 that works OK, except with the PMDG 747-400. No sound on the right channel, only tickingAny idea how this can be solved?BestRob

My throttle control keys are not working properly. When starting up FS9, on the PMDG 737 for example, the N1 value continues to advance slowly toward 50% and the F1 key does not close the throttle. When landing, the F2 key does not cause the reversers to engage. I have checked items such as FSUIPC, recalibrated my joystick, etc., but the effect does not go away.Any help would be appreciated. A quick search of the forum did not identify anything.Thanks.

Hello All,I have been trying to do a flight with 744 but no matter what cost index I put in, I gat a message saying insufficient fuel. Could someone lean a little light on the subject and tell me how to get a CI. I searched the forums and entered the values others entered but still have the same problem. I entered 500 as a value and had the same problem. All help is needed and appreciated.

If I am doing a regular VNAV PTH descent in The Queen and passing through 12,000' (for the sake of argument) ATC asks me to hold at say 7000', and my MCP ALT reads, say, 3000', should I wind the MCP ALT window back up to 7000' or is VNAV supposed to level me off into the HOLD--assuming I tune it into the FMC correctly--without taking any further action?Jonathan

I have an issue with the PERF INIT page on the 737 FMC. I own both the -600/700 and -800/900. No matter what my actual fuel level is, the FMC fills in '7.0' for me and the rest of the calculations are messed up. any ideas?Thanks,CJ DUNK KMDW

To PMDG Planners-With multi monitor/multi view setups starting to go mainstream- I wonder if aircraft developers might take note in their panel design.That is: a 2D panel in 3 mating segments.-View Fwd- Main: Capt 2D panel-View RFwd- Undocked F/O 2D panel with NO OVERLAP or repeat of main panel elements. -View LFwd- Undocked cockpit/window elements to mate with main view.Then we would have the appearance benefits of a very wide "virtual" setup but with no need to scroll or zoom. For some reason, sometimes I have this strange smoke coming from below me. I was just sitting at the gate in Heathrow and there was smoke all over the place coming from me! You couldn't see anything very well. It's easier to see in flight.All I know is that I installed the Thrust Reverse spray just like the instructions said. Hello, I'm back...I just started using the 747 again but whenever I am climbing to my cruising altitude my speed decrease and wont return to the speed I want it to go. Any suggestions.?Christianp.s. I also am having trouble with my PFD and Navigatioinal Displays. Whenever I have it set up in the cold and dark mode, The maps and pfd don't showup, but after completing both the captain and FO chaecks, they remain that way. Once again, any suggestions?

I realize it might be too early to comment on this, but is it reasonable to expect that the Engravity FMC will be supported by your FSX versions as well as the 737V2 for FS9 too?Since it's a lot of money to spend on the FMC, I'd rather have some more info before I do something foolish! :)

I read a while back that the new A380 did 6 landings in Iceland during trials late in 2006 in cross winds of a steady 40 knots gusting to 56 knots. I could hardly believe it.On a flight into KDCA from KLGA last winter, we were landed in our MD-80 in 40 knot winds which scared the heck out of me when the pilot said we were going in, but he approached and landed quite brilliantly.At times during the year, there are horrendous winds in my region (northern VA) and I am amazed how jets continue to operate in fierce winds.My question, then, is: what is the maximum cross-wind the 744 is certified to land in? This question has to some degree been brougth up before but I haven't really found a definite answer.Since I have a lot of money invested in add-ons for FS9, I am a bit reluctant to move to FSX. Therefore I was very pleasantly surprised to read that we will have the MD-11 and probably the 737V2 for fs9 too. But are there any major improvements regarding functionality that I will miss if I stick with the FS9 versions as compared to the FSX ones? I do have FSX installed so I certainly know what the sim looks like visually.

Hi FolksI have the PMDG B747-4 Queen of the Skies but as i live in Japan when i try to view the documementation files due to language coding, i just get a pile of scrammbled text containing japanese symbols and writting, anyone else having such problems in other countries and if so can you suggest any ways around this problem, its so frustrating!! If anyone could print these off in English for me i would of course pay all costs incurred, i have contacted PMDG Support but a reply seems to take ages.Any thoughts or sugestions most appreciated Best wishes Richard (Nagoya)

Did anyone take a look at the new AIRAC? You can now enter the gate number in the POS INIT page! Can anyone tell me where the sound file for the PMDG klaxon is (e.g., the sound that starts if you push full throttle at the start of taxiing). I would dearly love to be able to shut it off, or at least edit it to quieten it down somewhat, but I cannot locate the file anywhere. I can only guess that it is hard-coded into a gauge or similar..The klaxon seems to have a mind of its own, at least in my setup, and once it starts, continues screaming at me no matter what I do: minimising FS to the task bar the only way to shut it up. Realism is fine, (though surely in the real 737 there's some way to turn the klaxon off?!), but this is driving me nuts. Advice appreciated. Thank…

Hello,I have recently purchased 747-400F and I am having some trouble operating the cargo doors. I have managed to allocate keyboard assignments, and can get the airstairs and tail jack working a treat! However, I cannot get the nose and rear cargo doors to work so well. I've only managed to get them to work once, and that was more by luck than judgement!Do certain conditions need to be set in order for them to operate? Parking brakes on, for example, and anything else?Thanks, Matt

Hi!I've got a problem with the PMDG panels.I've got 737NG series in box and 747Pax+Cargo bought on your online store.When I load those aircrafts the fps drop down to 9-10 fps.I don't have any trouble with other addons (level-D 767, Maddog 2006, 737 by Wilco and freeware).If I delete FSUIPC the panels don't load the gauges and the fps rises to normal values, so the problem is in the gauges.I even tried to format the entire hard disk and install windows and FS again but the problem remains.WinXP with SP2, FS updated to 9.1v and FSUIPC is 3.75v
