Hi, i have the NG, and i was wondering, can you guys give me some input on what you guys usually rotate to on liftoff... personally, i usually lift to and hold 8-10 degrees until the wheels lift off, then i fly the FD bars, which can be from 15 degrees to 22 degrees.... oh well, i just want to be sure i am doing these things...

I just reinstalled my pmdg 737-600/700 and 800. Now when I tty to use the plane, I get an error mesage--pmdg-737ng main.gau is not valid. This causes FS9 to crash to desktop.What did I do wrong?ThanksJPS

Hi. I've got FS2004, 737NG + 800/900 and Ultimate Traffic. I'm an old hand at FS from 1982 but new to this particular plane(more accurately called a simulator). I found an old copy of Timothy Metzinger's tutorial stashed in a corner of my HDD which I find more informative than others I've seen. I have no problem getting airborne and using the FMC to control the flight. But I've run into a couple situations that I cannot seem to get past. 1. Enroute with the FMC programmed for 315 knots at FL330, LNAV and VNAV active, the flight director on and autothrottle armed but the speed remains at 250 though I am at FL330. I've tried re-entering 315/330 in the FMC leg for the curren…

If the FMC VNAV disconnects during the descent, is there a way to it to reconnect?I have the airspeed correct and the bug aligned according to the descent profile when I press VNAV, but it won't hook back up. One guy said I needed to cross a waypoint before I tried again, but that made no difference either. Once VNAV decouples, are you on the MCP the rest of the way down?Hawg

Specifically, ISA DEV/QNH (R4 on DES FORECASTS page). Is this modeled? I can get the temperature offset keyed in, but I haven't found the secret to getting the pressure entered. I've tried both "Hg and QNH, but it barks at the format or something.Anybody know the syntax for this line?Hawg

Hi allI have installed a British Airways 747-400 downloaded from the PMDG site.When I load it up I noticed that it is shows on the upper eiacas screen as having GE type engines even though it is a RR engined aircraft.The default aircraft also shows up in the sim with GE engines.Below is a part of the BA aircraft's config. I can't see why it would show up in the game with GE engines? In preparing my Vista Home Premium PC for PMDG 747-400X (yes, I'm that optimistic!), I have installed FSX and FSX SP1. I have also installed the latest NVIDIA drivers for my two GeForce 7900 GTX display cards. But I cannot get FSX graphics to display.On starting FSX, all of the text panels display correctly (including the spinning visuals of the chosen aircraft), but on starting a flight (with Fly Now!), the display constantly alternates between the information box containing 'Loading complete! 100%' and the correct graphic display of aircraft dashboard and outside view. I've just purchased a new PC in order to improve performance, but it's running worse than it was on my old system.When I first load up the A/C I have 35 FPS, excellent! When I program a route into the FMC it reduces to 3, Aghhhh!!! What is causing this, it just can't seem to handle any kind of route, no matter how long??My second problem is, that the FD and the Autopilot always track 10 degrees to the left in any of the lateral NAV modes (LOC LNAV). With the ND set to APP, the AP manouevers so that the CDI isn't centred but the FD shows that it's correct. Hi,if I want to set a VNAV speed restriction during approach using the FMC LEGS page (by entering something like "190/") sometimes I experience the following problems:1) I can't enter the restriction at all (although the waypoint I want to assign the restriction to is not the active one).2) I can enter the restriction but VNAV does not follow it. I have to disconnect VNAV and to use LVLCHG instead of it.If 2) happens the plane will also not recognize any speed restriction entered into the VNAV FMC page.As written above, it's not always the case. Probably I do something wrong I'm not aware of. Any hints are appreciated.Thanks, Thomas

Ok, I have NO CLUE why my windshield wipers are not working in my 737's. I know they only work in VC mode, but I go to the over head, turn on both, then sit, wait, nothing. Do I need to be doign something else other than just turning those on? Any help much appreciated.

Hello. Through process of elimination, Ive come to believe that the PMDG 747 is causing a problem I'd like to stop. I noticed that useing all of my other addons such as scenery, AI traffic, CLS aircraft etc, flight simulator is fine. I install the queen, and everything appears alright maybe for a couple of minutes or several hours and then suddenly my FS toolbar on top disappears and a black bar on the bottom of the screen, about a centimeter thick shows up. If I hit Alt or try and exit FS, it freezes. Any help would be appreciated. This problem has been going on for awhile and Id really like to be able to enjoy this fantastic product completely. First, i hate PMDG, PMDG puts out such great products, that i have had to practically had to take out equity on the house to pay off my 5 PMDG package (747F, 744, 737-6/7, B1900C, B1900D)Second, I LOVE PMDG, you guys are the best man, and i am about to immerse myself in another beating from the wife after i purchase my shiny new 800/900. this is mainly because i fly for SWvA and (quite sadly) am willing to pay 30$ just for the EFIS/ND format cockpit.... *sigh*My question is: does the 800/900, generally, upgrade the NG? upgrade things like VNAV logic, LNAV Logic etc...Im just curious what other benefits there are, thanks pals...P.S. i had the best service ever from "Tabs" …
