Hi, I am thinking of replacing my CH throttle with the one from goflight... The CH one is good but goflight's one LOOKS wonderful for PMDG 747, especially the reserve thurst and the flap lever. Having said that, I haven't use that before and I want to hear some feedback from anyone who has a goflight throttle.Ben Thanks

on the 747-F / I realize that drive disconnects are only repaired by maintenace on the ground. The manual states that PMDG has added an option in the various mmeu to allow reconnects, reset " EDG drive". I cannot seem to make this work. Does it function only on the ground? or how?Mike B

I know someone will prbably get flying lessons on something but PMDG forum has to date been very helpful and I've not been told off so I thought I'd ask.I'm trying to understand SIDs, for example looking at the EGLL MIDHURST, off RWY27R how do I do this correctly and exactly?What the LOND8, D12 stand for?Thanks

Must be loosing my mind, but SOMEHOW I'm getting all the way to the engine start and when I click the #4 engine start button, the white center (light, I guess) will not come on and therefore not start when I engage the throttle #4 cutoff lever. Yes, I turned off Autostart and engaged Con ignition, but no go. However, it HAS started in the past so I'm missing something or doing something stupid. Man, is it aggravating!!!Any of you smart kids out there have any idea what this yokel might be doing wrong? I know the default Gate I1 at KLAX is messed up, so I haven't been using it. Ciao,weird thing, when I set flaps on the PMDG 737..I hear the sound of the flaps moving after a small while...and it continues for another while...but the flaps werer already in the setted position....how come?Istance I set flaps to 5...the go immedialtly to 5 and after few seconds I hear the sound of the flap movement..that goes on and seems stucked on the same saound for lots of seconds...How can avoid it?Thanx

Help!I have had the Queen and the 747-400F for a while now, however I am now getting corruption of the overhead panel. This occurs on both the Queen and the Cargo.I have tried uninstalling everything and reinstalling from scratch, and have gotten the latest FSUIPC, and tried the "delete the .ini" trick mentioned in a post long long ago (in a galaxy far far away).Attached is a picture of the problem. My best guess is that I have added an a/c which has changed a "default" FS9 gauge and corrupted it somehow. If the geniuses at PMDG can tell me which file to restore I'd be very grateful, or if my hunch is wrong, tell me what I've cocked up to get this to happen, or is this Go…

I've used VNAV a lot and sometimes no problems at all and other times - problems. Even though I use real world weather and input forecasts - sometimes it misbehaves. For example recently EGKK - LEIB CORDA2N STAR for landing runway 24. This calls to cross ADX (Andraitx on Majorca) at or above FL120. No problems with winds (000/00) aircraft descending nicely from FL350 passess ADX at FL120 on target. After that a slow descent - so slow in fact that the next thing I notice is that I'm about 10 miles from landing and I'm still at 8000ft with no error messages or any warning like "Steep Descent after XXX etc". Anybody any idea why it wouldn't go down ?Second question, LEIB has…

I love the 737NG for FS9 but I find it hard to slow down even if I descend carefully and before the td point just using the VS. I have given up on a VNAV descent as it seems to go into the red on the way down no matter what I do. I tried setting sensible limits in the LEGS page (eg - 170/5000) etc but even so I still finish up high over the threshold and usually have to go around. I disconnect the AT at 1000 AGL and the AP at five hundred but it is rarely what you could call a balanced approach. I usually land (?) with less than 5000kgs of fuel - would this make a difference if I carried a bit more? I don't have this problem with the 744 which seems to to be much more VNA…

AVSIM FS2004-Flight Plans library file name cycle_0710_sidstars.zip with 62 US locations. FAA had few changes but this collection includes the latest work I've done at KJFK, KLAX & KSEA. If anyone has a favorite US (incldg territories) location that they'd like added to the collection just let me know. Happy contrails.

IM new to flight simming and only know computer basics...Ive run FS2004 for a few weeks and have had no problems..When I tried to add on PMDG 737NG I got the following message: The version of fs2004 detected is not compatible with this version of FSUIPC. It is build 9.01.40901...You need correct version of fs2004. Check the help-About. The build should be 9.00.30612.FSUIPC will terminate when you select ok Can anyone tell me what this means and what I need to do ? Thanks Chris S.

I have no idea how this could happen... When I fired up the 737 yesterday it did not have any data in the FMC for EGLL. Then I noticed that loads of the Nav data was gone in the FMC. Mostly all the runways were gone. Any idea how I can solve this? I am using the CD versions from Aerosoft, so this is NOT some copy that I found on the net.Did not try with the 747 yet, but from I understand they use the same database...Peter Johansson

Hello again.I downloaded your entire 737ng series about one year ago.I been flying the 800 and 900 series wery much lately.I had a very interrestin experience yesterday.I took the small little 600 pig out of the hangar for a spin.My surprice came when I landed the thing.After finding the correct vref in the fmc.I was heading for landing at Newark.I had a few knots over vref over threshold with a normal sinkrate.I throttled back to idle at 30 feet and slowly pulled the nose up a few degrees just like I have done hundreds of time in the 800 series.I slammed the 737-600 down with a sinkrate of nearly 600ft/min,which in real life would have been close to a heavy landing check…

Hello everyone, This is my first time posting here and I am not that good at searching thru here. My issue is with the PMDG 737 autopilot. I own the PMDG 737-6/7/8/900 V1.3 with FS2Crew. I have had this product and FS2Crew for many months now. But last week my plane started to do something wierd. When I set the FMC and everything(with or without FS2Crew running) and takeoff, I turn on the A/P, but emidiatley get the A/P dissconect chime, and see the A/P shut off. No matter how many times I attempt to turn on either auto pilot A or B, it just shuts itself off right after I turn it on. Only once, did I get a warning from PMDG that my CG was way out of config, and I was…

Just a quick request / suggestion... I know some just want one or two liveries, but I generally have all of them installed for my aircraft as I like to chop and change a lot.. Would it be possible for you guys to perhaps write an install program that just installs all of them? Or, how about just zipping all the liveries for an aircraft into one neat zip file and posting that up in the livery download section to save time for people like me? Otherwise I have to download them one by one and it takes forever..Thanks..Craig

I am not getting any VOR bearing pointer when I tune a VOR station. I get a DME indication and identifier tones. The only time I do get a pointer is when the identifier shows on the ND. Does anyone know what I should do? I was 13 miles away from ICT Vor and no pointer just DME. Thanks John
