    Hi, I recently attempted to replace the sound of the recirc fan in the 737 with one of my own i recorded off a real 737 and I got it in there fine but when i turn on FS, it plays nicely but at the end of the clip that I recorede it makes a very quick pause so that iot can replay the sound clip again, which isnt that bad but after about 20 mins it can get quite annoying. the origional recirc fan didnt do this...how can I make it not "skip" like that and just play one continuos loop? thank youTyler

    I started PMDG747 with cold and dark and followed all procedures to start but my display wasn't on (no color on indicator) and no waypoint on navigator display (Only said that time to align but i did and it kept appearing)Few days ago it worked very well and had no problems. Thanks for helping

    Hello everyone,I just bought the 737NG basic as well as the 800/900 add-on for FS9. Quite excited about it, too. I have the manual and in the process of trying to customize the a/c via PMDG options; however, I cannot seem to find or activate the menu bar that usually pops down from the top of the screen. In other words, I don't see and can't find the "Flights, Aircraft, World, Options, PMDG....etc." menu options. I've tried every key combo, moved my cursor over everything I can think of from the top of the screen to the bottom (every other mouse/cursor senstive actions occur in the cockpit, so that works fine). I even tried a few voice commands which I prefer not to repea…

    Perhaps this has been covered before, but I am just trying t make sure that there is noting wrong on my end. On my 744F instalation, the temp controls for the lower lobe cargo holds have no effect. The temps work fine on the main deck and the upper deck, but looking at the ECS schematic, the lower holds seem permanently fixed at 26 degrees for the forward hold and 0 degrees for the aft hold (regardless of where the knobs are set). Does anyone else have this issue. Not a big deal, but I think some fish went bad down in the forward hold on my last VA flight, and I'm afraid we may never completely get the smell out :-)Andrew

  6. I've been simming PMDG jets in FS2004 for a long time now. I recently dug out the NG series for the first time in about a year and after migrating to Triplehead2go. I loaded up a 737-600 in VC mode, the only mode I fly in these days because of TH2G. I was very disappointed at the low frame rates spread across all three screens. Takeoff at KSEA with 20% Ultimate Traffic at night was a mere 10-13 fps and jerky compared with at least 50% more fps and greater smoothness in the PMDG Queen. The gauge refresh rate was atrocious too and there were times when nothing moved or got refreshed on the upper EICAS for several moments. On a couple of occasions I even thought my LCD…

    I hope to soon plan and fly the BA route from EGLL to KLAX (very similar to the VS19 flight on the ITVV video). I saw where Aerosoft just released the new Heathrow 08. Has anyone bought and used this product yet? If so, could you provide a synopsis of your conclusions? The details look great but I want to make sure it has been engineered to provide minimal frame rate impact.   11. I may have accidently discharge # 4 fire bottle causing # 4 engine to shut down. I reset the bottle and had difficulty restarting # 4. I had to change aircraft and come back to the 744. All engine were then running, now I notice a purple line 2/3 the way up on # 4 engine's EGT. N1, EGT, Oil pressure, Oil temperature, Oil Quantity and Vibration are all normal. I have not restarted FS9 and I am continuing on with the flight. Any ideas???Thanks,Ken

    Hello all!I today received my PMDG 737NG (600/700) and was very happy to start flying with it!. As with most aircraft, i set up the FMC etc and set off on my flight.... Soon after take off FS paused for a second then flashed back into life. After it had came back, i had lost the tabs at the top of flight sim and a 'black bar' appeared at the bottom! I couldn't click anything on my computer, right click anywhere, or even get task manager up!I thought it may be a one off problem so i tried again, but once again i had the same problem! PLEASE help me! Its a very annoying problem stopping me doing any flights :(Regards, Sam

    Hi,I am currently flying the PMDG 737-700ng at the moment and I totally love it. Except there is one little thing annoying me at the moment, and that is whenever the engine speed decreases (for example, in descent) the FS9 brakes warning flashes up in the bottom left hand side of the screen (I have attached a screenie)This means that whenever I touchdown at an airport, the brakes take over until I come to a stop - like an emergency landing.The process that I use the autobrake is:Departure - Set to RTOTake Off, Set back to off, retract gear.Is there something I am doing wrong?ThanksMatt

    Hi,I have just installed the 744 and F into my new pc, however I have a small snag with the nosewheel steering (nws). I have a Logitech extreme 3d pro joystick that has the twist to control rudder / nws, when I taxi the 744 and twist the stick to turn, the nosewheel remains fore and aft (the aircraft will turn though). When I move the stick from side to side as if to move the aerolons the nws works fine. I have unplugged and replugged the stick but no joy. It works fine in every other aircraft on my sim.     Hi all,responding to a 'Proceed direct to XXX' request from ATC, I entered XXX in the FMC scratch area and then moved it to line 1 using 1L LSK.Line 1 showed the waypoint correctly and a distance to go of 45nm.A couple of seconds later, the line was replaced by THEN ... and the FMC displayed a DISCONTINUITY message.I repeated the action with the same result.Can anyone tell me what caused this?     now i know that this topic has been discussed many times and it was always said that when enough information was supplied in the sdk's by microsoft about the wx engine PMDG would be the first to act on it and develop a radar. Now that a little time has passed and FSX has been gotten to grips with , do PMDG think there is enough info to do this accurately and realisticly or not. i have searched for a previous thread on this but did not find anything that is recent and up to date ThanksKav

    Hello,As I understand the system logic/functionality will not be changed from the latest FS9 version, but will the flight model (not the visual one but the one we actually fly) be updated/adjusted for more realistic flying?     In about one month's time, I need to submit a paper about my career interest. So far, the best I can do is write a letter to the Corporate Office for Hawaiian since I don't actually know anyone or anyone who knows anyone. I wondered if anyone here just happens to know an airline pilot who is in Hawaii or will just happen to be in Hawaii before October 5th. It would be really helpful if it was a Hawaiian Airlines Inter-island pilot since I'm also flying back to Maui overnight at the end of the month.     Hello GuysI have been using PMDG 747 for about 4 years now, but never had a problem since 3 months ago, which my 747 can't simply climb,I'll give you the example, Right Now I'm Enroute OIII-KJFK, climbed to FL300 hardly, 300fpm, and after I reached Fl300 about 10 mins I started to loose speed, and nose go higher, FUEL: 261.9, ZFW: 516.7 CRZ CG: 23.4.So I descended to Fl200 gained speed and started the climb again but it simply couldn't and was getting the sort of BUZZ when you get close to MIN clean speedI thought it might be the activesky, closed it but still couldn't climb.registered FSUIPC VER 3.72Thanks

    Hi Folks,I'm seeing the FMC error EDNY ERR: FHA MISSING.EDNY is my destination.Also, the ARRIVALS page for EDNY shows no APPROACHESand no RUNWAYS.I have the latest SIDSTAR cycle. Its EDNY.TXT fileappears to be complete - it certainly contains runwaysand approaches, and the FHA fix is used.I also have the latest AIRAC data.
