Hello,I'm having a problem with my MCP which never happened before.When ever I power it up the displays shows;IAS/MACH Err - HDG 001- VERT SPD SN - ALT 00306Extensive search on the net resulted that it might be the Firmware, and found out a MCPErease.exe out there that should solve the problem. Problem that I could not find this firmware remover.Any one encountered such a problem before? Or has this remover?Any help is highly appreciated.Regards,Mohammed

Ive just upgraded to Vista and having run a few flights i wanted to delete the plans from the FMC. i followed the normal route,PROGRAMS,MS GAMES,FS9,PMDG,FLIGHTPLANS only to find they werent there ! and i cant find them anywhere. Any help please ??ringway

I just got this fine aircraft, and after figuring out the engine start procedure, I've noticed that when I move the throttle when I'm on the ground, a loud alarm sounds.It stop the second I'm airborne.Any ideas?

Will the MD 11 fly like its real world counterpart? Apparently it is very "squirrely" on approach and requires a lot of pilot input because of basic design problems that have to do with the empenage and the aft C of G.One experienced MD 11 plot had this to say;"The MD-11 is not fly-by-wire. Robert et al-I know this subject has been flogged to death, however, with your company's recent position shift on the MD-11, I am cautiously optimistic.I will go out on a limb and assume that it was not just a few vocal posters here that resulted in your decision to support the FS9 platform for your future releases (MD-11 and NGX). Hi captains,is there a hardware available that allows 24fps simulation within FSX and Vista and Dx10 on a single 19' LCD, when all graphic sliders are moved to the max? I 've been "offline" for about 12 months. Those days I used an AMD with FS9 / XP / Dx9 / PMDG744 / TrackIR flying online, which was realy cool but miles away from being MAX...If in late 2007 there exit such systems, it would be a good point to upscale my desktop, right before PMDG releases it's 744X.If so, please can you list the recommended components?regards,Foizman

Hello,A few days ago I did a fresh install of all the pmdg software ona new hard drive.Surprise when I noticed that the panel switcher keyboard commandsthat I changed do not seem to work.After changing a key board command I always check after closingif my changes remain effective.What do I get? As a pride owner of a brand new MCP737 from opencockpits, I want to adjust the script to make it function with the PMDG 737-800.According to the script, I downloaded from the site of opencockpits, I have to adjust the keyboardsettings of PMDG.BUT ... I'm not able to change the keyboard settings in FS - PMDG -> GENERAL ... I can put in 3 commands, but not 4 --> e.g. EFIS Press ND Mode CTR = Ctrl+Shift+Tab+F12 (I'm not able to get F12 in). I can push Ctrl+Shift+Tab+... (but no 4th parameter)Hope to get a sollution for this problem.Greetz,

Hi,A question about the Stab Trim in the 747. I thought I, for the first time, should actually adjust the Stab Trim for takeoff too match the trim in FMC. The problem is that I can't find a way to do it.I was supposed to adjust the trim from 4 to 6 last night, even though I was already within the green band. I couln't find a way to do it. The manuals and guides that I read, told me to adjust the trim, but as far as I could see, none of them told me HOW I adjust the trim.I'm sure it is an obvious and easy way to do it, but HOW do you do it?:-) Regards,Raymond

OK, guys, I'm having a problem with my 737NG 600-700 FMC and when I repeatedly refuse to acknowledge my wife's inane questions while I'm TRYING to concentrate, she threatens to go back to her mother. Well, if one of you guys can help me fix my FMC problem, she can cart her butt back to mommy and I'll not CARE a twit!Anyway, I've read and read and read, but for the life of me I cannot get the autopilot to follow the commands of the FMC. I'm sure I program it properly, engage the AP, click on LNAV and VNAV, but it won't change altitudes or follow speed changes. ANY ideas will be greatly appreciated.Joe

Hi All-Read the AC manual/documentation, no joy. In the SPOT view, I like to circle the a/c, however, I am unable to do so. Using the number pad I can only go to the left rear, rear, right rear and top views. The sides and frontal view keys do not work. Also, if I select "use mouse in SPOT" it only works (very well) in playback- not in SPOT. Any ideas? Hi everyone,Just got the PMDG 737NG package installed.Got both the 600/700 and the 800/900 series.I am having a throttle problem with at the moment, not quite the same, but does fall into the topic of throttle problems I guess.OK,When every I start up in FS9 with any variant, the throttles go to min and then right up to maximum, with no Autopilot, FD or Auto throttle settings inputs, just goes there straight away??I cannot move the throttles with F1-F4 keys, nor grab them with the mouse, and they dont respond to my throttle input at all!!Here is what is on or what I can see on the EICAS/PFD1. throttle to min then straight to max on both.2. the N1 settings are at approx 96…

Hi There,Has anyone got the engine spray effect working,particularly on the PMDG 744.If so what does the aircraft.cfg and panel.cfg look like with this effect installed.I have followed the install instructions in the read me file but the effect does not show up. Thanks for any help, Simon.

New upload to AVSIM FS2004-Flight Plans library. This is an update to the procedures included in the Cycle 0709 Collection. Custom routes for NOATC flying are included for departures and arrivals, and these have been tweaked and tuned for the 747-400. Departure routes are included for BETTE, MERIT and ten unpublished routes based on the KENNEDY vectors-only departure procedure to often used GAYLE, GREKI, RBV and others. Of course, all procedures are included in the "as published" versions for use with ATC service. Complete information on all that's provided in a the enclosed readme and the text header of the procedures file. Happy contrails!
