I'm updating the collection and found O'Hare changing runway numbers again.... last cycle they changed 9R/27L to 10/28 and left 9L/27R alone. Now they have changed 9L/27R to (guess..) 9R/27L! I can't imagine a more confusing way to renumber two East/West runways to accomodate a third. This takes effect Cycle 0709 30 Aug.Does anyone know if they are moving dirt yet for the new runway?

hello I have a problem with my FMC pmdg 737.I downloaded airac 0708.install correctly.But know I have a problem.Eham gives an error.In the scratch pad is written "err in speed,line 414".Even if I install an older version of an airac,the error stays.I install the pmdg on a 64 vista version.I don't know if that givesthe problem , but any other airport is ok,as far as I can see.Is there someone familiar with this problem.regards Jeen.

I took off normally today and retracted the Queen's gear during positive climb. About two thousand feet later when I turned on the AP, I got the gear retraction sound all over again.Is this just one of those gauge things that happen at random (like the way the AP disco horn sometimes goes off during rotation for no apparent reason)? Or is there anything I should check?Thanks.Jonathan

Hello,Can someone tell me what the Max planned landing weight is for the 744F?In the manual page 2-5 and 2-6 states that the Max planned landing weight is 630.000 lbs (285.763 kg) but this is less than the max ZFW witch is 635.000 lbs (288.034 kg).Are these numbers correct ?

Hello,I understand the product is still in beta testing, but in case you already know and can tell us, will it be possible to increase the gauge FPS above 15 in the VC mode in the FSX version? Also, will there be any changes to improve the visibility of the instruments in VC? Right now the control column is blocking the PFD at times. :) I know its realistic but in real life the pilot should be able to have a clear view of it. I think in FSX the joy of flying from the VC is much greater than in FS9.Thank you and good luck with the testing!

Joshua Duval,Hello all,I've already bought the PMDG 744 for a long time ago.But last night i reinstall it one FS2004 and make a flight From Paris Orly to St-Denis Gillot de la Reunion(FMEE) .Approximaetly about 5425 NM.ENjoy this beautiful flight on IVAO with this big airplane!This topic just to say that it's probably one of the very good aircrafts i never flown!Never have a bug!!!!!Cheers,:)

As a part of my familiarisation with PMDG 747-400, I saved my flight from EDDK to KLAX yesterday whilst flying over western Scotland with the file name 'Checkpoint'. When I came to continue the flight today, the plane constantly descends to FL300 and then climbs back to FL320 (my current cruise level) and will not maintain the course of the route, even though both LNAV and VNAV are engaged. My question is about the files that are created when I save the current position of a flight. An explanation may help me determine why I cannot currently resume the flight from where I took the Checkpoint.I have four files created which are named 'Checkpoint'. I have a Checkpoint.0.RTE…

I've tried searching the forums and have tried several suggestions but I'm still having problems. When approaching the VHHX IGS (111.90) the localizer and glideslope are showing on the PFD but when I try to push the LOC or APPR buttons nothing happens, they will not turn on. Localizer and or glideslope are showing alive and moving on the PFD. I have one AP on, heading select going at 58 degrees to capture localizer, FMC nav/rad manually set to 111.90/088, altitude hold at 4000, autothrottle on and speed mode set to 210 but the LOC or APPR buttons will not activate.I do have the VHHX approaches and such from AVSIM library within the PMDG SID/STAR folder. Dear all,I know that the CDU format for manually tuning the ILS is XXX.XX/YYY, where XXX.XX is the LOC frequency and YYY is the inbound course. This is all good, except for airports with multiple LOC that share the same frequenct. My question is, for airports like KORD and KEWR where multiple LOCs share the same frequency. How can I specify with one to tune to?We were on approach from the East to KORD for the ILS 10 approach, which is on 111.10 MHz, but the FMC picked up the LOC for ILS 27L instead since it shares the same LOC frequency. I have a recurring problem, affecting about half my flights especially long-haul ones. The flight control system seems to "dump" the SPEED control function, with the readout disappearing from the top left of the AFDS. The result is no speed control, even though the A/P and autothrottle are still on. I've tried disengaging A/P, autothrottle, etc but no success.Is is possible to "reboot" the left AFDS SPEED readout and function (in flight)?John CAustralia

Hello i am new to PMDG 737NG. I was going to make my flight tonight but when i installed the American and Continental Airlines livery's it didn't work. I opened fS9 selected the PMDG 737-700 and my livery wasn't there. In fact it deleted that model of aircraft. For example if i downloaded the American Airlines winglets livery it deleted the model and now i no longer have it on my FS9. What happened? I hope to hear from you soon.Thank you.Robbie Goldberg

hello fellow pilots, Hopefully this isnt an ignorant question, but i have searched the forums and have found no answers so i caome to you guys for the answers....hope that makes sense. but anyways, when i fly the 747-400/400F, when I am on descent and bleed off speed to get into landing config., my pitch up attitude goes from 0-2.5 degrees nose up to about 5-8 degrees nose up. this happens when my speed drops into the flap schedule...the nose starts to pitch up from 2.5 to 8 degrees nose up when I go from flaps up to flaps 20. After i set flaps 20, the plane starts to pitch down to about 2.5 degrees nose up attitude where I finnaly set my flaps to 30 and i end up in land…

Guys,I was exploring through some of the other pages in the 737 FMS and I found the ACARS feature. Very nice feature. Problem is, I can't go back to the general FMC functions until I logoff ACARS, but there's no place to logoff... :-hmmm

Hey all... Have this other little question. I have the 600/700 version but would like to fly 800 and 900. Therefore, i downloaded some models from the POSKY library. Everything is fine; except for this message i get repetitively on the ground and in the air: "PMDG NOTIFICATION: CG not within tolerance, aircraft unflyable!"=> the aircract flies... it's just that i'm thinking it might affect the way it does... Anybody knows how to get rid of this problem? ANybody has got any better solution? Also, i just wanted to make sure: is it normal that once on vnav mode, the plane shoots up at a rate arounf 4000 and more?Thanks for all the help...Mat

Hello,today I installed Queen and noticed that control surfaces animation is not smooth, more like the frame rate is about 10 fps. My frame rate is 29.8 fps (locked to 30) both outside and in virtual cockpit.My system is:Intel Pentium D 2.8 Ghz1GB RAMRadeon X1650 ProRegards,Stjepan

I never rich my cruising altitude in 747 which is FL330.either it stall or never get there at that altitude.how can i solve this problem.i don't have this problem in default (FS9.1) 747-400. Thanks, Mukesh

To use it for simulation as well I need accurate performances datas like :- Rate of climb (Sea level and service ceiling)- Indicated climb speed- Sea level climb fuel rate (lbs/h)- Service ceiling climb fule rate- Rate of descent- IAS descent- Descent fuel flowI need as well to define a CG enveloppe with weight to place (Arm in inches).I need as well fuel/h, TAS for different cruise altitude, at different weight for LRC, MRC and HRC perfs (with the varition with ISA +20 or -20.I know that's a lot of data but it's the only way to have accurate datas to estimate time and fuel flow over my fl…
