PMDG General Forum

I know that someone has posted about this before, but I cannot find it again.I can either receive all sounds through my headset, or when I unplug them, through my speakers. How do I separate the sounds so that ATC comes to my headset, and environmental sounds to my speakers?I have fiddled for a long time without success. Help!

The displays on all 737 aircraft not working (Primary and Secondary Engine Indications,Flight Instruments, CDU ect...)tried reinstalling still nothing. Has anyone encountred this and how can it be corrected.Thanks

Hi Guys, Have just installed 747-400, and printed out all the manuals etc, but I cant find any of the ZIP files for the Tutorials. Have searched everywhere. Any help would be appreciated.Cheers,Neil

Hey PMDG,I know you all are focused on two planes right now, the MD-11 and 747X. Hello fellow simmers and PMDG crew. I just want to get a confirmation that the development cycle for A320 is still in-progress and it hasn't been discontinued. If that is the case, I would be very glad and will start saving for my new hardware (I'm pretty sure that I have some time as obviously we would not see a release of it in 2007) :-)Thanks a lot in advance for any info regarding the Airbus family.Regards,Dmitriy.

I just tried to build a flightplan from KLIA (WMKK in Malaysia) to London Heathrow (EGLL). But the instant I input EGLL as the destination at the start of the flightplan, the FMC scratchpad announced:EGLL err 05: Runway UnknownI have seen this in the past on my system, but never had any trouble with it despite doing nothing other than entering EGLL as the destination. Tonight however, I was unable to enter any ARR info for EGLL because for the first time ever the ARR page for EGLL on the FMC had no STARS and no approaches listed. As a result, there is no arrival runway info displayed anywhere in the FMC for EGLL and so I cannot complete the flightplan.This error messag…

Hello,I got a question about starting-up the B737 (NG + extension). Is it required to have the APU started to start the engines ? Because I thought you can use Ground Air and Power to do it... but I didn't found any Ground Air switch to activate it.I found Ground Electrical Supply only.Thank you.

Hey,After some minutes of flight the FS9 just "Crashed".I am so confused of this! I allready make a clean re-install of the Sim... but it doesnt helped! Hi all,I recently suffered a HDD failure, the end result of which was to have a new HDD fitted. After the new drive was fitted it was found that it was possible to read the old one. This was done and all the files from the old were copied to the new and put into a folder named "Old C Drive".I have with help from Aerosoft managed to re-install all of their download products, plus many other add-ons.Now to the crux of the problem, I have the 737-600/700/800 & 900 on disc and have re-installed them plus patches, time consuming but do-able.I also had the downloaded version of the 747 QoS. Hi Guys,Have an allignment problem with both the 747 and 737. The a/c does not stay on course (Magenta line on the Nav Display) it deviates almost immediately after take off to the left on the Nav Display and will stay there the whole route. I am using the Navigraph Airracs, tried several and the problem remains. I also tried an IRS allignment but that was also unsuccessful. Had a look in the Forum but could not get a probable cause and answer.Your assistance is appraciated.Willem Clack

Guys,Who else would fancy a few of the BA 747-436 World Tails painted for FS9??...I know there are a few BA liveries out there...but probably only the PMDG repaints & one or two others are of reasonable quality.After all, they are the biggest operator of the PAX 'Queen' aren't they?Please! please! to any re-painters out there!!Kind Regards

Hi,Thanks for the news update, I think I can say we all appreciate it. But can you give a specific estimate as to the frame rate hit running the 747-400X? For example if your running 100FPS with default aircraft expect to see 50FPS etc... Also have you managed to get the mouse scroll wheel working on the MCP ALT/HDG/SPD windows in the uber-cool VC? It takes ages to change heading clicking! (and it's a bit jerky.) :(Thanks Again!Quiller

I have searched our forumns here, and cannot find an answer. The FMC works fine, so it's not a missing font. Overhead is fine, so it really doesnt match the issue with blank panel and overhead.However, ALL the gauges have blank displays, no CRT displays, no hdg, alt, or anything else, it's all blank.I am running Vista, with an NVidia 6800XT, latest drivers all around and all patches applied.Any thoughts?

Captains,As many of you may know, there was a terrible accident at Congonhas Airport in Sao Paulo, Brazil on July 17. 199 passengers, crew and people in the streets were killed, practically immediately.
