Where can I get some PMDG latest SIDS and STARS?. Im having a problem at connecting at Arrival approaches stars.i can't get it right somehow. Thanks, Mukesh

Sun Wing is a Toronto based operator flying 738s to vacation destinations in Europe and North America. There is a photo on Airliners.net (enter S... for the airline). I would like to find a repaint if one exists or perhaps locate someone who might be interested in creating one for me. Peter.

Dont know if this is the right place to post but I will give it a try. I have PMDG 737 600-700NG 800-900. What happens is when I want to make a turnaround flight for a second leg as soon as I open the Com. panel and press the frequency change knob I get a CTD every time.I run the following when I fly.ASV6Fs2crewFSpassengersI have checked all of those forums and I cant seem to find anyone else with the same prob. Any ideas ?

Captains,I will have to format my hard disk, since it has passed the period and is quite slow.I have doubts about what to do with my PMDG files, add-ons, patches and, mainly, the licenses...If I back them up in a CD and than copy it back to the re-formatted HD, would it work?Thanks for the helpBPilot

Just curious what key combos you guys have assigned for cargo/door ops...I've done a few, but sometimes conflicts with FS assignments pop up. Have any of you assigned all of them?-Cory

HiJust got a new machine with the dreaded vista.When I click on PMDG options for lcd frame rate or panel styles I get a black screen. if I move the pointer around until it becomes a 'hand' and press enter the screen comes back on. same thing happens if i click FSUIPC.Any ideas on whats up ????Regards MGPS NVIDIA card

I am trying to assign keys to Barometric controls under PMDG->General->Keyboard Assignments->ISFDNone seem to work. I have insured that no other mod or flight sim is using the keys used.For instance, I assign 'K' to '166 ISFD - Press Baro STD', then close. However, 'K' does nothing.The Documentation seems to only address the various doors and key assignments.Known bug?Any Ideas?Thanks,Mike Neese

Hey, Manny:Did you get your GoFlight MCP Pro fixed for the PMDG fleet OK? My replacement has A18 firmware and works very well. Still slightly temperamental but generally stable and behaving quite nicely. Works better with The Queen now.Jonathan

Hi All-This one is a bit odd, but I'm hopeful.........I ALREADY use a Texture_Bandwidth_Multi=600 setting in FS9- that was one of the FSX tweaks for PCIe cards. I feel (perception only as I did not increase the FPS lock- still 30) that changing it from the default "tweak" setting of 100 to 600 made a positive difference in the texture loading smoothness.Can I also then use the Fiber_Frame_Fract and [bufferPools] PoolSize= tweaks that seem to work so well for FSX in FS9? Has anyone done so?It seems like such a shame not to be able to utilize the added processing and transfer power of Quad processors and SATA2 drives (in RAID0).....Also, and try not to burst into incredul…

Just need some help please, have recently experienced, CTD, computer freeze, etc so went to many forums and have possibly narrowed down my problem, however after deinstalling the possible offending add-on, i now recieve the following message when trying to load my PMDG 744/744F.Do i have to Uninstall then reinstall my PMDG or can i, simply overwrite.Many Thanks Carl Renshaw EGHD

Hi guys,I finally purchased the PMDG Boeinbg 737-600/700 last night and installed it. IT IS AWEsOME!1 question though. I've got the BMI Baby liverie for the -600 model which doesnt haveany airstairs or winglets. I can open exit 1L door but cannot open the cargo doors or any other doors. In the key assignments page under the PMDG menu it only displays (under the doors section) main door and all other doors but when I make the main door Shift+E and the all other doors CTRL+NUMSUB none of the doors work. ---------------------------------------------------------------------If i delete those assignments and use the standard FS2004 door opening key assignment in the FS9 key ass…

I want both the fs9 and fsx version of an aircraft. If I wait to buy the fsx version of an aircraft, will it be compatible with fs9 or will I have to buy both? or if I buy the fsx could I get a discount on the fs9 version.thanks

howdy all,just a quick question.I own the pmdg 737 800/900 and am unable to save flights midway and restart with fmc in correct position. correct me if i'm wrong?i'm looking to purchase the 747. as the 747 is a long haul aircraft and i have limited time to fly am i able to save midway or at several points along the flight and resume with everything ok and/or in correct position (in regards to fmc)? my normal time per session is 1.5 to 2 hours and most of the 747 flights are well over this time limit.thanks in advance,Chris

Hi All,Just a quick question regarding the ability to start the 737 with fuel switches in the off position. Can't find any relevant info so am assuming that the engines are gravity fed if we can start them without the fuel pumps on. Anyone have any idea's?ThanksRob

I just switched back to FS9 yesterday, installed the 744 and loaded a cold and dark cockpit. I followed the proceedures correctly and even checked it with a friend that I did the right procedure. and I cannot get the displays working! I have no idea why! I loaded a flight and didn't load and cold and dark cockpit so the displays are already on. After 30 seconds they turn off and I can't get them back on again. I have all the updates and SP1.I have no idea whats happening here.Any suggestions?CheersBilly

I read into manual topic 2.3 cruise and fule planning the max zero fuel weight for this aircraft is modeled at 535,000lbs. Now in the 747 load manager this value is set 542,500lbs. Why this difference? Which is right?Thanks and regardsFranco Basili

I was given to understand that there would be procedures attached to the PMDG FMS update starting this cycle. A check of the download page shows the update available but NO procedures....is this a typo or are there really no procedures with 708 (delay?)? Has anyone downloaded that can advise?Best-Carl F. I know that pmdg is tight lipped but I was wondering if there are still plans for an airbus series. I would be satisfied with a simple, yes there are plans.Andrew

I have read various suggestions on the Cost Index to use. One as low as 90 and another as high as 800. I believe the lower the number, the less fuel is consumed. However, I tried 90 with an aircraft carrying a 206,000 lbs of fuel and a ZFW of 509,000 lbs and found that for the first few hours the climb rate was about 200 FPM.What in your opinion, on a long flight, is a nice balance between performance and fuel consumption? Would 500 be too high?ThanksStanner

DEAR PMDG,Please can you have a look at the following main issue and possibly fix it for the 747 fsx version if its not too late.I am talking about the glitch you can see when you look at the flight deck windows from outside in spot view, From certain angles you see the inside oppersite windows appear to display infront of the nearside glass which realy spoils the look of the flight deck windows. I dont think this is a bug of fs as the default 747 does not do this. The other issues which are not as noticable but looks strange are firstly the size of the glare shield from external view again, which is way too small which in turn gives the effect of making the gap through, …

I own PMDG 600/700, 800/900 and queen of the sky. presently i have up to 900 installed on my pc. By installing queen of the sky will it inprove or add fetures to 600/700 and 800/900.Thanks

PMDG team,Will there be anyone of the PMDG team on the dutch FS Weekend in the Aviodrome on the 3th and 4th of November this year?I have already read on their website http://www.fsweekend.com/ that Aerosoft will be there. I am sure they will give information about the PMDG products, but in my opinon it is better to do it yourself if you've got time available, because only the team knows all ins and outs.I think this is a great opportunity to show the FS world what PMDG is doing and what they have done in the past.Looking forward to hear an answer an hoping they will come to the FS Weekend.Greetz,Ronald
