    I seem to be having a problem where I extend my spoilers on the 737 and go to retract them and only some of them retract. In otherwords, I guess there's 3 spoilers on each wing, one spoiler on each wing remains open.I retract using the keyboard (i.e. - using the "/" key) is that a problem?

    This started after installing 2 other retail A/C add-ons. When I select one of the 744 PAX models, the nav data base screen comes up and loads, then when I select OK to start that flight, the loading scenery objects screen comes up and hangs at zero percent. Cont-alt-delete brings up the task manager, then looking at performance I see that CPU usage is around 74-86% and PF is at 946mb (out of a total of 1 gb. Physical memory shows 159600 available out of 1047548. I have to kill the FS9 process to get out.Oddly, the freighter loads and works normally.Just before the two new AC were added, I also did a system rollback; Kaspersky (trial) didn't install cleanly and I went…

    I need help... Don't understand why whenever I fly all attitude, with my auto-pilot on with SPD, HDG and ALT on, it goes to FL CH in the end and all screw up.. What's FL CH and how to encounter this problem ? Thanks !

    Captains, Could some please tell me about setting up CP Flight's MIP board and the PMDG software. I have spoke with the CP Flight support and there not telling me much. Does anyone know if PMDG will release drivers for the MIP so all functions are capable without having to use the (799+399EUROS..och :( ) PMsystems and Glass Cockpit for the 737NG software.Thanks for your time. ;)Hers is the email I received from CPFlight about this matter:The MIP board is supported by PM software.   7. Does anybody here use the GoFlight EFIS with the 747-400 in FS2004 under Windows XP Home Ed? If so, does it work fully and normally? I have the GF MCP PRO and it's fully configured and works very well with the 744 so I am wondering if I can just add the EFIS module and expect it to work.Appreciate any info, thanks.Jonathan

    Morning I seem to be having some issues with FS9 and the 747 (PMDG)WHen loading FS9 and then the PMDG 744, all the displays appear and then about 5 minutes later, they all disappear... Engines are running and all appears normal with the exception of the displays... I have failures set to none. ? Any ideas?

    Hi all,Having just recently purchased both the pax and freighter version of the 744, I was wondering whether or not you guys are still planning an ACARS update in the future?Being a long term user of the Level-D 763, I both like and am used to feeding winds aloft data into the FMC RTE DATA page. While I know you can do this in the 744 too, the operations manual suggests an ACARS update would be required to simulate this properly.I do not have any intentions of moving over to FSX as yet, so if this feature is implemented in the upcoming version of the 744, then fair enough.     I understand that in some ways flying this sim can be harder than real worlds ops since we are flying these aircraft as a one man show. We handle checklist's FMC programming and checking, fuel and takeoff calculations, on top of that getting clearence etc on Vatsim (or whatever you use) But i was curiuos as to how many of you practice flights using 'Just' Raw navigation? I was reading a topic on pprune and realised I don't practice this enough due to being so busy during departure and arrival. So I'm going to make more of an effort to keep my skills up to scratch.     I've been flying many 747 models for awhile now and then another pilot turned me onto the PMDG aircrafts. I have read the manuals and stumbled on a slight problem though, well, actually it's a big problem. After turning on the battery, setting Standby Power to "Auto", I raise the Elec Eng Control cover(s) and then left click the button to set them to Normal, but they don't do anything.Not sure what the problem is, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the model about 3 times now and still have the same problem.     Just in the last month or so, when on approach my a/c tracks the LOC way right of the beam. It captures fine, but the pink dot at the bottom of the PFD lines up on the far left dot. I've tried at multiple airports with the same results. I've tried other a/c at those same airports and they work fine. I removed and reinstalled the PMDG 737NG and it still does it.     I've not flown the 737NG that much so this is most likely an error on my part but I'm not sure where I'm going wrong so perhaps someone here would be kind enough to straighten me out. This is in FS9 incidentally.When flying I use FSNav to setup the flight plan. I can program the FMC OK and get to the destination approach . I set the FMC to the correct runway and get all setup on final. Radios both tuned to LOC frequency and press APP once I'm established. The plane picks up the glideslope and I adjust speed and flaps, lower gear etc. Once established I also engage the second AP so both channels are working and CMD is reflected in the annunciator.     I recently rebuilt my flightsim box, reinstalled and updated all of my pmdg software including the 744. I'm back up and flying the 737 but every time i try to load the 744 fs9 crashes. I checked the event log and got the standard (i don't know what happened) error message from windows. Any help would be appreciated!Alex

    I'm new to PMDG and have been learning how to "fly the glass". A problem I have encountered involves the aircraft accelerating beyond what I have set the IAS to. I have the IAS set to 250 but when I engage the autopilot after takeoff the aircraft accelerates to 530 knots. Is there something I'm missing when setting up the FMC? or have I forgotten to set the IAS properly?

    While the NAI ON altitude prediction in the FORECAST page does make a significant difference to the FMC calculated VNAV decent path, am I correct in saying the PMDG B744 *does not* accordingly reduce a little output thrust when the WAI/NAI are swicthed on? Assuming this is true (ie, the thrust reduction has not been modelled), then for us sim drivers, is it better to not input a NAI On altitude in the FORECAST page for our purposes?I ask this because doing so would alter the VNAV NAI OFF path to a VNAV NAI ON path, but the non-modelling of thrust reduction would mean the aircraft will want to alter from this calculated NAI ON path (because even if you switch NAI/WAI to O…
