Gentlemen ,I bought 737-600/700 and 737-800/900 without any problem , after that I installed the 737-600/700 , did some flights and everything was OK.So , I tried to install the 737-800/900 after initiate the wizard I received an warning saying that I should have 737-600/700 purchased and installed before to attempt to install the 737-800/900 , but I have the 737-600/700 installed.Someone knows what is the problem and how to solve that ?Thanks and regardsAlberto Kunzel

i just got the 747 fsx, well this is one sweet #### plane, wow you have done a great job with this one i am still new with using the fmc and i got to say wow again you have made it so easy to program. my frist flight was kden to klas and i just put in what i know about using it, and dam it picked up the ils that i put in amazing, and i am using cargo pilot with it and now fsx is something i can play on alot thanks for all your hard work. one thing? how do i get the tasc to come on, thanks againjames

I think I'm having a brain dead moment here...Where in the PMDG keyboard assignments menu can I set key commands for the doors?I've drilled down all the keyboard sub-sections and just can't find one for doors. I've tried using CTRL SHIFT 1 to open the doors. The message on the top of the screen says the doors are opening/closing, but no door movement in the model.Advanced animations are ticked.I'm using the PMDG livery.Ideas?Cheers,Bryan

Hi there,When using the load manager, and I select the "2D panel only" option the aircraft always loads with both VC and 2D panel. Is anyone else having this experience? Any ideas?Thanks,Alex Malek

I wanted to get a little ahead of the the game and read the manual and the type rating tutorials. Are the ones available now going to remain the current ones for the 744X or are they going to be updated?

Under Add-ons->PMDG->OptionsThere is a "various" section with a "ground conditions" area. The manual says that this checkbox should be labeled "Ground Air/Power Available" and yet in the version you have shipped it is called "EDG Drive." "EDG Drive" is also a button below this checkbox and serves an entirely different purpose.If you are maintaining a fix list you might want to include this.Jeff

So chapter 13-10 in the manual clearly states that I need APU GEN 2 or EXT PWR 2 to show as AVAIL in order to get my cargo doors to open. Okay, that's done. I also need some keyboard commands, so I map CTRL + "~" to OPEN ALL CARGO DOORS.I get nothing.Again, I have set the command and I have the aircraft using the appropriate bus configuration and nothing moves. I see the part about some of the animations taking 1/2 a minute, so I am waiting that long.Thank you sincerely,Jeff

hello guys, let's see how to quickly and easily fix this problem...I'm honestly not sure if it is PMDG-related, but it took place right after I installed the software (right next second).Problem description: once in the 2D cockpit, I cannot look left/right etc... can't change views. When in outside view, I can't pan around the aircraft. And when I sellect VC, the view is fixed on the ceiling and I can't do anything about it. Hi there,I have been enjoying the 747X tremendously and read through the tutorials provided, which are great!I am having trouble getting the tutorial files to work in fsx. I have followed the instructions contained in the lessons re: installing the situation/panel/weather files, but they do not appear when I click "load flight" in fsx. I have been manually placing the files vs. using extract, since the extractor wants to put them in fs2004. I figure I'm doing something wrong but can't quite get it to work. So far quite awsome! Love the sounds!! I have a couple of problems though, I'm hoping it is some settings issue that's easy to fix. First on the options menu there is no way to select Ground Power Available in the "various" section. Also on the 747-400F the entry door opens inward, i'm not sure if this is a driver issue since no one else has mentioned these issues that I'm aware of. These aren't "big deal" issues so take your time. Hi,I have just bought 747X an hour ago. I have registered & installed it. No problem in doing so.Upon choosing PMDG 747X I am presented with "do you want to allow PMDG... bla-bla" I've answered "yes" and also chose that to be the default in future.Oki, so far so good. Then "Fatal Error" FSX -> CTD -> Automatic restart of FSX. My 400X nosewheel isn't turning, but the aircraft is.Advanced animations are turned on. It looks... odd.I also lose engine power some times... it goes down to zero, then back up again for no apparent reason.

Hey Guys,I must start by congratulating all of you involved with the development of the 747-400X. It is fantastic! :DI use FSX alot more now than I used to, however, I still use FS9 as my primary FS (for my VA). Anyhow, I installed the 744X and FS9 update and initially had the 'missing' digits problem on the Radio Stack and Chrono. Then I saw that a simple restart would fix that and it did. Now however, I dont get the "Approaching Minimums" on landing :( I tried twice, but no joy.Everything else looks in good order im pleased to say :D checked out the Dome lights on during daytime - very effective :)Any ideas on the GPWS Callout would be great :)ThanksRoss Spargo

Hi, firstly great aircraft. Easy install, good frame-rates. I must be doing something wrong as I cannot get any of the doors to open. Nothing happens when I push Shift E and the variations of it to open other doors apart from the main one. I noticed when I was installing the 400X, that there was a message that the install had detected that I had a "newer version of FSX", i.e., acceleration pack and SP2. I notice that the frame rates are somewhat less than with my Level D 767.Will there be a patch for those using the acceleration pack and SP2? My system is an AMD 5200+ with 2 gigs mem and an ATI HD 2900XT video card which supports DX 10.Any info appreciated.RegardsRon

I am controlling all my joystick axes and buttons in FSX using a registered FSUIPC 4.20.With autothrottle engaged, and throttle mode properly annunciated, I am able to affect throttle position by moving my throttles (although, the auto-throttle will re-adjust things afterwards). Also, I do not have any of the "overrides" turned on in PMDG options.This seems reminicent of the FSUIPC v3.75-3.765 issue that Pete recently fixed in v3.766.So... question is: Is it possible that FSUIPC 4.20 is responsible for such behavior?(At first blush, I would have said that is not possible, since 747X doesn't use FSUIPC... but perhaps Lefteris would like to comment on that?)Thanks,- Bill

HiI have recently started re-flying the 737NGI noticed that the AC "oscillates, bumps, bounces" in flight, of course slightly. It is more noticable at x2 x4 acceleration.Can someone tell me where it could come from?Thank youGhiom V

I'm having some problems with the new 744 for FSX and would appreciate some help. They are as follows:1) The flight controls don't move when viewed in external and pax views. Once the aircraft has landed the flap linkage fairings move very slowly but the flaps remain retracted and the aircraft looks decidedly tech!2) At cruise altitude the aircraft rocks up and down like an ocean-liner in a storm. This is something to do with the A/P and happens in VNAV PTH, VNAV ALT and ALT modes.3) I think there's something wrong with the sound. It sounds much worse than the other versions of this A/C. The APU has a volume which is universally the same volume in the cockpit and in the external view. Whereas the engines have the FSX front-to-back transition, the APU just blasts away at full volume regardless of position.Was this intented?

i know there is no active camera for fsx but i realy miss flying the 747 with my preset views in the vc and outside with walk and follow. Its mainly the interior ones that i would like to have the most because as it is moving around the flightdeck , and upperdeck cabin takes forever , is very slow and tedious. Does anyone know of any way round this in fsx where u can move around quickly by pointing the mouse for example. The other thing i dont like is if you wish to pan you view with the mouse you have to hold down a keyboard key while you do it which is a pain and fsx assignments dont allow you to select the mouse buttons/ wheel for this purpose instead as u used to be …

Hi all, I am having only one problem with the 747-400X as far as I can tell. I can't see any numbers for the radio frequencies or the squawk code. I installed the correct version after receiving an e-mail from Robert after purchasing it, so I know that isn't the problem. Could someone help me out with this? I am using Windows XP SP2 with FSX and the Service Pack for that.Thanks,
