ive tried all the advice and dll.xml tips re installed everything including fsx configs , removed the lines cut and pasted the xml lines from the wiki section pmdg ops. but every time i get the trusts to load and the airac starts but normally get the crash by the end of the airac load , somtimes the aircraft will actually appear for a few secconds then the windows ancountered a problem message and fsx closes i realy dont know what else to tryplease helpthankskavhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/179813.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/179814.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/179815.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/179816.jpg

The file PMDG_SimConnect_LDR.DLL causes a lot of trouble in my system. Everytime I start the 744X Loadmanager or when I start the FSX I get the virus warning. (Trojaner TR/PSW.Online.BX.15) I am using AntiVir.If I ignore the warning I can start the 744. (I normally never ignore such warnings!!)When I try my F1ATR 72-500, it crashes and the message appears that I should send the information to Microsoft.I don't know, what the above mentioned file is doing, but it seems to coordinate gauges and interfers with other programms. After long time of testing i find it interfers also with ASX and Xgauge from HiFi Sim and as mentioned with F1 ATR 72-500.In the moment I have to make…

I thought I'd licked the "Nav invalid" problem but, it appears, not quite yet.Here's the scenario. Inbound for Cape Town's Runway 19 in the new 747. About 17 miles out with the LOC light alive.The LEGS page shows no discontinuity.The NAV RADIO page shows "ILS-MLS 109.10/189 Park" and the FSX map confirms 109.10 for Runway 19However I have the "Nav invalid" message. And that, of course, explains why the APP light remains dead.Am I missing something here?Cliff

Hello ,somethings wrong with your AP Stoff.I had many flighjts now and not even 1 off themwas catching LOC/GS as it should.Not explaining more here..........I am simming allmost 10 years now and have done this withthe PMDG in FS9 right wellSo i think it is not missing on "don`t understood how to usingFlightsims and Add On`s"but for shure here ,...PMDG your plane is sicand i am realy disappointed therefor.I flown this LOC/GS with other Planes with no problemsso it is no reasen from a wrong setted code inside off FSX.Do you realy did Beta tests on this Plane ??Sorry........regardsMario G

Has anyone tried if it works to navigate through poles in 744X or if theres any major issue to prevent this? Im planning to maybe try this tomorrow, hoping it will work :)

Hi there,I am using Vista Ultimate.I use FSX with SP1as soon as I turn on ASX I lose my ability to alter comms, as well as this although the throttle quadrant shows input there is no increase in N1. I also lose my MCP (?) display of commanded airspeed, heading altitude display, they all go black. It only happens with your aircraft, not the Level D. I have MyTraffic X 5.1a running as well.Regards Neville

Hi There -Like many other fellow simmers, I purchased the first release (v2.00.0030) as soon as it was released and like many of you I too experienced difficulties and was not able to get the simulation going. I waited until earlier this evening and downloaded the newer version (see subject please). I used the (ADD/REMOVE) feature of windows to remove the first version. Once I felt sure it was completely removed, I then proceeded to unzip the newer version, so far so good.I then clicked open the file PMDG747_400_FSX.exe and it started to do its magic to then have it all stop with the following message, and I quote..."FSX Version 10.0.61355.0 (SP1 at least) required. When installing 747-400x installing on Vista, I chose automatic but then it didn't find FS9 when trying to update and failed. So well, I followed the instructions and chose custom install without the update for FS9, it seems to install everything fine, but at the end it says "CreateFile failed. Contact PMDG Support".Anybody else had this problem (and did solve it?)?

hello, please advise on how to improve performance with 747, 12fps is a non-flyable rate. I removed VC, I get 20fps when I look sideways (on the ground), and 12fps when back to the 2D panel.I can't use the software at this rate.I see there are discusions here regarding the problems with software functions, but I can't even get to that point yet, can't use the software till I make it usable by tuning performans somehow - please explain how. Fistly,Thankyou for an excellent product for FSX and the update for FS9.I only see one issue in FS9, since installing. In the captains view 2D my STD and pressure re-set buttons don't work. They do in co-pilot's view and work alright in VC, both captain and co-pilots.This happened in the initial release and continues in the newly installed updateAny advice on thisThankyou Gerry

I did exactly as instructed by Robert but now with the updated 747X I find that the flaps are'nt working only the mechanisms are lowering?And the spoilers are not visibly deploying?A small point here is the apperance in flight, even with the first download, the flap nearest the winglets is permanently lowered? any ideas guys please?

Hey, just wondered why Comms don't seem to be functional until the engines are started (can't change freq, switch active or transmit/receive). Is this a problem or is this supposed to happen? If it's supposed to happen how would an aircraft contact Clearance Del. without starting their engines at the gate, and what would you advise me to do when flying online?I'm installing the update now, I didn't see it as a problem on the list but just for the record.Thanks,

Hi there,I am currently running the queen on FSX using Acceleration and Vista. I was just wondering what commands you are using for the operation of the doors??I have tried to assign an array of commands without success, particularly on the cargo version. I have even tried to add a command to operate the autobrakes unsuccessfully. I have however managaed to assign pushback control which work fine??I downloaded the lates version of the software this morning and followed instructions down to the t.Any assistance would be grately appreciated,Regards,James

Hello,Thank you for another great product and for the discount and FS9 747-400 update.Unfortunately I have run into a problem. When I am going to start the installer, I just get the message "Unable to locate fsx.exe. Unable to install." When pressing OK, the installer shuts down.I have all my flightsim related files on a different harddrive than my WinXP. I thought this might have caused it, but it doesn't give me a chance to redirect the installer.Any idea what I can do about this? Right now I'm simply not able to install.Raymond

Hi there, Do I need to buy a new key for 747X? I've tried to install the one for 747 FS9 but the interface file failed to run because it said it can't find the flight sim path!Any help would be highly appreciated.Edward Law

my sim keeps crashing to an fsx restart when attampting to select pmdg 747x with latest update . it only occurs when i try to select this pmdg aircraft any livery. Hi,According to manual 350 company routes should be available in the FLIGHTPLANS folder, but they are not. A .txt file indicates they "can be extracted by running the installer again", but that does not seem to do the trick...Solutions?Thx and regs,aro69

Hello all,I want to say thanks to PMDG for a great new product. I am having trouble landing using the autoland feature, and was hoping to get some help. The plane keeps landing just to right of the runway. I am trying to land at OEJN 16 L. I have tried using both manual inputs for waypoint into the runway, and the STAR procedure for an ILS approach at 16 L and both ways the plane lands just to the left of the runway. The localizer aligns just to the left of the runway, but reads runway headingI have checked the NAV radios which are tuned to the ILS frequency and, the AIRAC cycle is up to date. All,I've been reading a lot of posts about the performance issues in FSX etc, which I can sympathise with.. I've read some posts about the aircraft performance being a bit unrealistic.. well here is my take..I think it's pretty good and close to the money.. I'm currently half way through a long haul over the Atlantic at the moment from EGLL to KJFK. I've got real weather on and I've set up the sim with a low level of detail to improve frame rates, and to my surprise even on my rig (AMD64 3500+ 1GB X800 ATI 256MB) it's not too bad at all..The aircraft sound is the thing that I noticed immediately, it's absolutely fantastic, I can't praise that enough. i am running the queen on vista.i am unable to inport flightplans through the co route.i have tryed fs commander and vatroute no matter how many times i save the route to the correct directory (pmdgflightplans)nothing seems to save there.has anyone else had the same problem? thanks in advance for any help

I have yet to get through a replay without experiencing an FSX.EXE failure to respond while using the 747x.
