In the 747-400F virtual cockpit when I switch the camera to the pedestal view ("Radio Stack"), none of the controls are clickable. It doesn't happen on the passenger version and by copying the camera settings for that particular camera from the -400 to the -400F it becomes fixed on the cargo version as well.Anybody else encountered this as well ?Andrew

HI Guy's I am now the proud owner of a shiney new B747x.I also have the Go flight MCP Pro. I have just gone to download the driver software from your site and noticed it states for FS9.1 only.I take it this will not work on FSX or B747X.Is there another place i can get a version that works with the above or is it yet to be released?

I'm new to the forum and the PMDG product line. I just purchased the PMDG 737 800/900 to run with MSFS9. With the knowledge base here by those experienced with this product, can someone tell me of some necessary add-ons that would enlighten the experience more so right out of the box. I'm thinking too of any possible add-ons that have come into existence for this that have made the flying experience more enjoyable and easier on someone just starting out.Any feedback is greatly appreciated.James

Greetings all,Just installed the Queen for FSX. My Saitek Av8r is set up for the Beech Baron i.e. independent throttles, 1 for each engine. I can set the Saitek to control all 4 engines equally on 744 but not 1&2 and 3&4 differentially. Is there a way? A profile somewhere? Thanks for any ideas. CheersGareth

Can anyone who has the FSX version of PMDG 747 running in XP tell me if their is a configuration file for the aircraft in one of the folders, maybe the PMDG folder? Like FSX has a fsx.cfg file..... The reason I ask, sometimes Vista will not create one but uses it after its created. I`ve seen this with other planes too.If you could paste the contents into a message and state the location of the file that would be good, should one exist. I can then recreate it in Vista. This had to be done with the 767-300ER from Level D too.Reider

Hi GuysHere's my problem. I have a good high-end machine with 2Gig Corsair Gaming RAM and a Geforce 8800GTX GPU with a Intel 6600 Core2 Duo Processor and a Intel Bad Axe Extreme 2 Mother Board. I'm running FSX under Windows Vista Ultimate with all latest updates and drivers installed.I loaded the FSX 744F at KSEA parked at S10 Parking. I then loaded the default cold & dark panel config and started running through the procedures as per manual. I then took off and had a good 2 hour flight doing some sight seeing around Seattle and the returned to Seattle with no problems whatsoever.On exiting the flight I got the error message as attached in the 2 pics. Just curious if anybody else has seen this problem with FSX and the 744.The localizer will not line up with runway 4R. I entered the LOC at about 20 degrees. The course is 045 degrees but the AP will not line up with the runway centerline. I tried a CAT III landing and the aircraft would not attempt a rollout and it crashed about 50 feet to the left. I tried the same setup at DFW and the aircraft landed about 50 feet to the right of centerline without the rollout arming. I've done some searching and I seen similar problems but I don't know if the problem I have is the same. Does anybody know what the problem is? Any suggestions is appreciated. Just installed 747-400X, but I detect a little bug. When landing upon selecting flaps there should be a limit speed on the PFD for the flap selection, but this only happens after you select flaps 5. In effect the flap limit speeds are not correct. I'm also having a problem with the LCD MCP on the freighter, its not lighting up. Any ideas?ThanksJoe

I tried to recreate the Helios flight problem the other day and left the pressurisation switch at manual, expecting the warning horn to go off - it didn't ! As an experiment I then opened the main door at FL330 - no pressurisation warning. Is pressurisation not modelled then ?

I just notice the strangest of things... Whilst sitting puzzled with out screwed up TCASes, Johan and myself sat and we notice that if I rudder left, the plane that I see him in (which was VS like mine) rudders left! And guess what happens if I rudder right? Yup you guessed it, his plane rudders right. In fact what ever I did to the plane, reverse thrust, you name it I seen him do exactly the same. Has anyone else experienced this behavior?When I turn the temp knobs for the flight deck and cabin up and down, it sometimes casues the knob for the #1 pack to switch off or to switch to another setting.Andrew

Initially only the BARO minimums (MDA) is displayed. If I select RADIO for minimums the DH appears but the MDA remains displayed on the PFD. Surely either DH or MDA should be displayed, not both?Kevin

I even bought the 737 3 times (I kept losing my install info and executables, which is not so odd ; I'm a mess concering computers;)).Anyways, I just installed the 747X, after deinstalling all Wilco products and making a new dll.xml. I do bump into some troubles though. For some strange reason, when I change views, the 2d Panel keeps stationairy at the bottom half of my screen, leaving only the upper part for the outside, wing, tower view. I tried disabaling the 2d cockpit, but since it's stationairy (gauges stop moving the moment I change view from cockpit to outside), I don't think that's the problemHere's a screenshot, as …

HiReporting my problems:Flight: Faro (lpfr) to Lisbon (lppt), Dark&Cold startup.1- Sometimes on approach to an airport, few seconds after a change speed in FMC Legs Page, fsx disappear.I get the message "your computer has run out of available memory. Please restart FSX....." once.2- It happens the same (I'm in dual monitor)when I move a spot view window from one monitor to another (no error messages).3- The 747-400 can't be selected when I try to change fsx settings and then save it(I have to select another aircraft before changes).After all the above occurrences the fsx doesn't restart again, PC needs to be rebooted to solve the problem.
