Hi I was flying on the vatsim server and was using their wheater! The problem was, after departing and climbing up I noticed that my PMDG 747X shows me that the temperature outside is rising constantly At FL320 my aircraft is unable to climb because it shows a temperature about 55-60degrees + and the engines are running at full thrust! I am using FSUIPC for FSX. Is it a problem with the vatsim wheater and can someone tell me to handle this.-Mike-

Hello,I downloaded the new 744x version on 11/6/07 so I guess I got the updated version. My initial impression is great!! However, when I cranked up the bird, I noticed a couple of pesky problems. 1. The Alt key brings up the FS menu at the top of the screen, but it doesn't go away like it does under FS9. After I saved a flight but couldn't find it, and the menu didn't go away.2. I sometimes like to play with the built-in ATC functions of FS, but under FSX and the 744X, I don't hear any radio traffic even though I see the transmissions on the screen.Any ideas?Thanks in advance,Jim Driskell

Hello, I just experienced a crash to desktop using the "Queen of the skys" 747 due to a OOM problem. PSS flyrers and PMDG 747 flyers have had the same problem. Does anyone know of a solution?Jorge

Hi I have a few questions about the PMDG 744 which I just started to learn:1. For some reason after a few minutes after takeoff, i get a X-Feed Config Fuel message. When i go to the EICAS fuel page i see that (initially) there is less fuel by around .3 in the 3 engine than in the second page, this ALWAYS happens to me. Maybe because I'm always flying at 4x? Do i remove this message by fuel cross feeding?2. The fuel flow (FF) doesn't seem to be the same for all engines, is this normal?3. Sometimes I like to watch the 744 do autolands but once or twice it disconnected on me just bellow 200 feet AGL which caused me to do a go around, but on the second approach it landed with…

Hello,I'm new still to PMDG's 737 800/900. I'm using FS9 and I'm having trouble with the Minimums Reference Selector.I'm running through the flight from EDDH to EDDM in the manual to familiarize myself with the aircraft and on page 40, it mentions setting the MINS by turning the knob to BARO and RADIO to set. Unfortunately I'm unable to get the knob to respond. I see where "+" or "-" shows up as if I'm able to adjust, but when I try, it doesn't do anything. Is there something that I'm not doing right here? Any advice I would appreciate.Thanks

Flew the 747FSX for the 1st time today. My flight from EDDF to KJFK was flawless, with no OOM problems or other FSX related anomalies (running in Windows XP). Level-D and Flight-1 (Super 80) ought to take notice. Highly complex FSX add-on and no OOM issues! Now I know why PMDG took their time bringing the 747FSX to market. Cannot wait for the MD-11.Thanks and good job PMDG.

What does the FMC message "RNW 9 load error" mean?Example: At KLAX on runway 25L I feed in the Company Flight Plan of LAXSFO001. At that point the message appears.Cliff

Let me start by commenting on the DVD ITVV video of the Virgin Atlantic 747 flight is the most instructional tution video of all the programs I have seen.Secondly, (but should have been first I suppose? :-)) PMDG's 747 simulation is the best there is, of any aircraft and I simply can't get enough of it. Can it be that PMDG 747-400X and VoxATC X don't go along together?On all my planes VoxATCX works well, but on the PMDG 747-400X, all I get is a big black box with nothing in it. There's no "enable" button. Nothing. Anyone knows what's wrong?

i have installed 747 queen of the skies and when i change the speed settings etc..i get an arrow instead of a pointer it makes things awkward..what changes do i have to make to correct this....thanks for any help

The VC panel will freeze when it looses focus, such as opening a top-down window (SHIFT+]). I'm already used to it, I simply cycle the VC view once forward and then back (hit A then SHIFT+A) and the VC is working again... don't have to close the top-down window either.

Hi Guys,I know there were some issues with the 747XF and load manager, but below is my problem with the PAX version:If I launch the load manager prior to launching FSX, and set my load, once in the 747X, the pax and cargo load are zero. The load manager says that the file was saved, but the info doesn't make it to the plane.If I minmize FSX, and launch load manager, and use the "send to fsx" button, the load does make it over.So, what am I doing wrong? I did post this up in one of the 'stickies', but i don't think they get read too much. Also, i asked this a week or so back, and my post just dissapeared....... poooof! Gone! I have no idea why....The question is.... Is there a fix for corrupt dll.xml file without having to edit any files?Much as luuuuuuuuuve my 744, i'd also like to reinstall my 737, without damaging it.Any help appreciated

Hi folks,At TNCM airport with the 747-400X when I try to make a U-turn to align on rwy 09 I always end up with some wheels in the grass...I'm curious to know if you have similar issues at this or other airports.Is the apron too narrow? It is a problem in FSX code (very likely)? Or PDMG code (very unlikely)?Regards,Chris

The landing/taxi lights seem really dim compared to other aircraft. I realise the cockpit is high up but I really struggle to see where I`m going. If I could shine a torch out the window it might help ;-) I see a switch on the overhead with dim on it (unless thats describing me) but it doesn`t seem to do anything. Help please.....I really want to be born again and see the light!Reider

Hi,I've just bought the new 747X few days ago and been having lots of problems with OOMs and CTDs. With only 2GB of RAM on my system I installed the hotfix(KB 940105) released by microsoft to address the memory switch issue. But the OOM and CTD problem persists. So to resolve it further I decided to upgrade the RAM on this system to 4GB. I just added two matched pair of RAM (1GB each) but in system configuration from windows it only shows that I have only 3GB(3026MB) of RAM. I went into the BIOS it shows that I have 4GB of RAM installed populating all the channels.Does anyone have any idea is to whats going on here, or what I'm doing wrong.Khurrum
